I went to the hair salon yesterday, and I cried when I got home because of the bad haircut the lady with glasses gave me. She was not professional at all; she is the worst hair stylist I’ve ever experienced. I showed her photos of the style I wanted, and she briefly looked at them, saying the hair length was shoulder-length, without confirming with me if that was the length I wanted. Her first cut shortened my hair to neck length. Throughout the process, she was slow, and her comb almost hit my face and eyes. I regret leaving a tip and not speaking up for myself on the spot. I’m leaving this review to ensure others don’t have the same bad experience as I did.

The lady wearing glasses is the worst hair stylist I have ever seen in my life. She is slow and very incompetent. She ruined my hair, and I will never go back again!

They cut all types of hair and do a great job for an amazing price. I have long curly hair that has been a pain to manage, I got in and she got right to work doing an amazing job. You get what you pay for!

I have been going to city cuts for the past 6 years. The service is excellent, professional, and I have never walked away disappointed. I have only let 3 people in my lifetime cut my hair. Vivian listens to your needs and wants and makes sure your satisfied. I can't say enough about how happy I am when I leave her place.

After having received relatively bad haircuts from other salons on the Outer Sunset Irving strip, I walked into City Cuts taking another gamble. To my relief, Vivian gave me an excellent cut, made my hair look fuller, and was kind, funny and attention oriented. I keep recommending this place to my friends, from children, men, women - she is versatile and has great instincts to what will look good on your head. And the price is so low... really a steal, $12 haircut...worth easily twice that.
