Terri has been cutting my hair off and on for the past decade. She is accurate and efficient. Also, the price is just right. The shop is very simple, but it’s really all you need. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend! Terry is truly a professional! She cut my hair exactly how I wanted it and she was very great at it too. It shows that she cares about her work. Great price too. I'm very glad I found a hair place to go to now. I highly recommend

Fantastic spot. I have ethnic hair and it’s hard to trust a place to cut it and style correctly and they did it and it was $60… unheard of in LA. Found my new shop!!!!

The owners are very respectful, they listen to what you want and boy do they deliver! Got a women's haircut which is usually pricey in LA but this place has good prices. My recommendation is to book ahead of time and be prepared for the parking( its LA duh). This place is worth it 100%. Please be considerate its staff as it is a small space. Little Tokyo has so many hidden gems and this place is definitely one of them. :)

A few months ago I decided to get a cut at a place I haven't been to, and walked in. The woman at the front told me that they would be free at around 2 pm. I returned later in the day and sat down. I showed her a pic of this trendy wolf cut I saw floating around the internet and she went to work. She washed my hair before and after,took her time cutting with razor and scissors and overall took great care of my hair. I had my phone handy as to show her the picture of the haircut I was aiming for,and it came out really nice! I'm gonna let my hair grow a bit but if do get a cut I'll definitely come back here!

Can I tell you city hair saved my life? I flew in from out of town to attend the Emmy awards for work. I stayed downtown and was planing on using PRIV or Glam Squad like my coworkers recommended. Everyone I booked cancelled on me for a simple blow out and or up do. Dry bar was booked and it was a Monday so most of the salons were closed- I called City Hair on a whim. I chose City Hair because the reviews were so great. I have to agree with the other reviews, watching them do hair is like watching a fine craftsman work. I showed the stylist a photo of a curly style and she made it happen perfectly even though I recently had a keratin treatment. It even held up through the afterparty. All my coworkers liked my hair better, and I paid half the price. I so appreciate this salon's hard work and attention to detail and accommodation as an inexperienced out-of-towner. Sometimes the best product is not always the most expensive. I found a diamond in the rough, if I was local this would become my new salon. Next year I will be coming back to City Hair again before the Emmys, they do wonderful work!

City Hair restored my confidence after a terrible haircut elsewhere! The woman that cut my hair, who I believe is one of the owners, did an absolutely fantastic job! She provided me with the layers exactly as I asked, and styled my hair to perfection. To boot, the prices are very affordable! Would 100% recommend!

Very good attention to detail but it was pretty expensive. 45$ for a haircut. Overall a good place to get your hair cut though.

Is just around the corner from the Hilton doubletree. Is by appointment only. Jimmy is fantastic. Shampoo the hair and cut it professionally. Then shampoo again and blow dry. Was $45 but Worth every it. Haven't had a perfect haircut in years. Just went yesterday and service was still the best.like an artist at work
