Best place to get my beauty supplies. Classic Beauty Supply has been here for years and is a Frederick staple for decades. David is so attentive to detail and careful. Mechelle is really great too! They both have a really good eye for what looks good on you if you’re not sure what you want or need. This is the only place I consider when I’m on the search for my goods. Come through! I came here to ask if they could restore my synthetic hair piece. She advised she didn’t do that BUT she told me HOW I could wash and shampoo and use fabric softener to bring it back to life! She was sooo helpful! I asked her if they sold human hair clip in extensions, they didn’t have my color so she pointed out another retailer across the street that had what I needed. She was amazing and I am sooo thankful. Highly recommend

I purchased a pack of wig yesterday at this location. Upon making payment, the cashier, who I believe is the owner of the business, removed a paper from the pack of wig and tore it up. I was surprised and asked why. Her answer was, I need the information on the paper to order more of these. Now mind you, she brought out a few colors for me to choose from, which has the same information that she could use. It turns out, SHE TORE OFF THE WIG CAP TIPS INFORMATION (see attached picture)! As a black owned small business, why would you began practicing insincerity with her customers? Oh! here is it, maybe not with all her customers, she figured out I have an accent, so, maybe I am not that much inclined to know her intent, won't have the information to care for the wig, and would keep running back to her store to purchase more. THAT'S JUST THE WRONG WAY TO MONEY! My tip to her is, stop targeting and cheating customers you think are vulnerable. Sure, there are some out there, but I AM NOT ONE OF THOSE!

I visited Classic Beauty Supply last week after having a bad experience at another local wig shop, hoping to find something more realistic and in my price range. Luckily, i was greeted by Michelle, she was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Just her willingness to take the time to help me was amazing. Going in I didn’t know much about wigs but she taught me alot. She was willing to go the extra mile for me and I’m super happy with the results! I definitely recommend classic beauty supply and salon services and Michelle.

I’ve purchased a couple of wigs and ponytails from here before and always had great service! However the other day I met Michelle for the first time and she was amazing!! I am very new to wigs and can’t ever make up my mind, and she spent so much time with me and even got me to get out of my comfort zone with a new color. I have been receiving non stop compliments ever since!!! Thank you so much Michelle, you were a great help!

This looks like a small place but this place has everything you need, from the products to the people knowing what’s up. This store has a nice selection of products. Customer service is great whenever I visit the store; I've been helped by David many times, and he's super nice. On my last visit Michelle guided me in selecting hair, she's awesome! I would definitely recommend this store to friends and family.

I went in today as a new customer going through Chemotherapy. Not only was I greeted immediately the young women listened and found me exactly what I wanted on the first try. She spent time and explained everything. Loved her, what a great experience. Thank you soooo much!!

I would highly recommend this store for new and old wig users. The owner David has exceptional customer service and can answer any questions you have!! I am new to wigs (I usually do weave) and the prices and products are great quality. As a new wig user I felt welcomed and all my questions were answered with patience and grace. Will definitely be back !! Edit: This store has now dropped to 2 stars because I recently bought some items there and was told I could return with no problem if I had bought too much (braiding hair). I was told this by the owner. I came back with the items to return and had a horrendous experience. The owner was not there, it was an African American lady who literally said I was acting aggressive towards her when I simply and firmly stated I came here with the unopened product for a refund. She then goes on to say how customers in the past have thrown things at her and I reassured her I'm not that type of person she is accusing me to be. She then called the owner because she did not know how to do a refund. He answered and I could hear the conversation from across the room because even though it was not on speaker, her phone was blasting volume. I heard the owner say, "Give her the refund and get her out of there" in a really rude tone that assured me I'll never send and more friends or family to that joke of an establishment. Please go across the street to a different hair place. The other hair place (I don't know the name) has better prices and way better customer service! Hope the owner is reading this because he should learn not to talk about kind and reasonable people how he did. So yeah, I'm getting the hell outta there like you wished and not sending any of my friends or family with wig needs or any hair products there again. Shame on you!

My hair was bright red. This owner was the only that actually help me get the red out. He informed me and sold me product to get to my hair back to blonde. I took my friend there. He helped with her type of hair to bring out the curls. The owner sold her some products. The owner know about hair. He also has great selection of wigs.

This hair supply store may look small but it's a "must see" place. The prices for wigs are phenomenal!! They have a lil bit of everything. Big rewards come out of the smallest places!! The owner has so much knowledge on everything hair.

This review is long overdue. I've been coming here for well over 20 years and not once have I had a bad or negative experience. Yesterday is a prime example of how amazing Classic Beauty is. I was in a bind and needed a really quick fix for my hair. I was fortunate enough to have been helped by Michelle. She saw me struggling to make a decision and asked if she could offer some suggestions. She selected a few pieces for me to try on and found the perfect lacefront for me. Knowing I was in rush, she cut the piece for me and styled it so I can walk out with it on. Not to mention how sweet and friendly she was. The customer service here has always been stellar, but Michelle truly went out of her way for me. Classic is and always has been the best beauty supply store in Frederick. The owner, David, is a pleasure and is genuinely friendly. He definitely knows his business. You will not find someone as helpful or knowledgeable. His prices are reasonable and there is a wide selection of products there. And, if you're looking for something specific, they will order it if they can. There is not one shop in Frederick that comes close to this place. It's the only place I shop or recommend. Thank you for your amazing customer service!

David (the owner) is awesome‼️ I have been buying my hair and nail supplies from him for more than 30 years. I admit that I was VERY distressed when he decided to close the Silver Spring store, but because of his fantastic customer service and helpful and friendly attitude, I remain loyal via the Frederick location.

I love Classic! I always have. As a little girl my mom used to take me to the silver spring location years ago so when I found out there was one in Frederick it was only right for me to check them out. I was not disappointed. Today put the cherry on top for me. They went above and beyond for me and they are greatly appreciated. Check them out they have great wigs/ products and there customer service is phenomenal! It’s a great, clean and organized store with is definitely is expectation for me and others! The workers there I could say different! I walked in and someone was one there phone!
