I can't say enough good about this nail shop. I have traveled the USA for the past 8 years getting manicures & pedicures every few weeks. I have to say Classy Nails is my very favorite. They are so professional yet caring and they do beautiful work. Also the massage guy is the absolute best. I walked out today feeling like a new person.

I have gotten pedicures there twice now and they’ve lasted. Last week I got a manicure there and it lasted less than a week before they all started to chip off. And I showed her a few places where my nail was splitting worried if it doesn’t get glued or fixed it would just keep splitting. I was right. Although the paint job itself looks nice it would look better if it lasted more than a week.

I moved to Colchester about two years ago and needed a place to get my pedicures done. Classy Nails was the first salon I went to and boy what a treat! I didn’t feel like the technician was in a rush. I haven’t looked back. If you’re looking for a place to just leave your troubles for just an hour, I personally feel that Classy Nails is that place.

No longer the place it used to be - owner is very rude you can no longer request a technician - you get whoever they assign. Some are very experienced, others are not.

I have been going to Classy Nails for about 20 years, well before the current management. With the previous owner, you could request a nail tech that you preferred and that you had a rapport and connection with. This is just part of standard and good customer service in any establishment. Mike, who has been the owner for around 8 years or so, does not allow this. You get whoever he wants to assign to you. This is a problem because although there are some excellent nail techs there such as Grace, Jamie, and Mia, you could also get an untrained and inexperienced nail tech lacking an eye for detail. In those cases you need to tell them to polish the ends of your nail, clean up where they painted your finger, and even to trim your cuticles. Today I had one of those. When I pointed out to Mike that my pedicure needed to be cleaned up and that my toenails were inconsistently cut, he told me that I needed to, “Go, find a new place!” This man has never been a man with any personality or charm, but he has some good workers that carry him through and for the most part, deliver a pretty good product. His behavior today was just as the many other poor reviews state- “rude and disrespectful”. I have spent thousands of dollars at this place over the years, and think it is important for people to know that their money is going to a man who is ungrateful, ill-mannered, and extremely disrespectful.

It is disheartening to leave a pedicure appointment with feet that appear less improved than when initially entering the establishment.

I got the Volcano Tropical Citrus pedicure and it was without a doubt the best pedicure I ever have had. They took their time and didn’t feel at all rushed. This is my new go to spot.

I paid over $100 for my nails and i'm not happy about the results bc it's not even 2 weeks and my nails already are chipping off . The owner tried some new products and it didn't last.

I’ve been a loyal customer over a year. Nails techs are excellent however the owner is extremely rude, condescending and began yelling over the phone when I proactively requested to alter an appointment due to a sick child. If you ever have to proactively alter your appointments due to personal reasons beware aware they don’t like to honor these requests as it’s an inconvenience to the owner and customer service is not a priority even when you are a regular every 3-4 weeks. I will never come here again and will give my business to another local business who honors and values their customers first.

amazing experience! Elly was so sweet & my gel mani only took about 30 mins! i really loved the hot wax hand dip at the end! such a surprise! left my hands feeling so soft and smooth! you are able to tip on card & parking is available! the salon was super clean! overall 10/10!

I asked for a jel set (35$) and was pleasantly surprised I was charged for a UV jel nails at 85$. Prices and info are misleading as who would know that’s what a new jel set of nails is called. Did have to remind them not to use their used nail files on me …otherwise nails are beautiful!

I usually do not go out of my way to make a review. But this has rubbed me the wrong way and I feel the need to let others know. I frequent Classy Nails often. But the last 3 times I've been it feels rushed, like you're an inconvenience, and the owner was flat out rude. It is constantly busy and feels like a "sweat shop". My mom and I went in for pedicures that we scheduled days in advance to then be told we couldn't get the pedicure we wanted that they did not have enough time. So we could only pick the $55 one. Ok fine. We're getting the pedicures and the gentleman who was doing my mom's told her that he has extra time now and can do another 10 monies of massage my mom says yes. When we were both finished they charged my mom $75 and myself $55 when we got the SAME $55 pedicure. We explained we got the same thing and the owner came rushing up to the desk saying my mom got extra massage.... $20 more apparently... so instead of causing a scene we paid the fall amount and left. We feel ripped off and rushed out. I used to love coming to Classy Nails but in the last year they have really gone down hill and seem like they don't care very much about their customers but instead just about the money.

This place is efficient and timely, though I do think their work (in my case with gel polish on natural nails) reflects their level of busy-ness and desire to turn customers over quickly. I liked the chair massage, and they gave each customer a gift of olive oil cream because it was the holiday season, which was sweet. The prices are reasonable.

This place will do an amazing job and I would highly recommend going here. They even have a rewards program. My nails always come out the way I ask. They give massages and paraffin on the hands. Very clean and everyone is nice. I recommend always making an appointment. One improvement I would suggest, sometimes the pedicures feel a little rushed when trying to have a relaxing spa day. Other than that, very professional and I always leave feeling great.

Okay so I went to this new salon and I was nervous because, Obviously it was new to me. Well Long story short it was a wonderful experience. They paid attention to detail They pampered me with massages while the nail tech made my nails beautiful again. They cut my cuticles without having to ask they oiled my nails once we were done and after they used a paraffin wax to finish the job. When I walked out i was a brand new woman ready to conquer anything in my day. If you want to the same feeling this is your place to go.
