clines salon feels like home. i don’t mean the walls and space holding it up physically. it’s worth mentioning the salon looks fabulous btw. it stays true to its holistic tone of healing body and soul. don’t be afraid to let go of what no longer serves you. this is a place you come to exhale, let your hair down and let someone pamper you. tammy the owner has a calling for all things hair related. she is soothing and warm. thank you tammy. it’s because of you and your staff why Cline’s salon matters and i look forward to your new location.

Got a last minute work in to see Mary on Monday. She did a great job. Her coworker Lisa had a few minutes between clients she stopped buy to say hello. Then Tammy stopped and visited for a minute. Not only did I get a great hair cut but everyone was so kind and friendly. Keep up the great work!

Disappointed with this place, I was here the other day with my girl friend , I saw another person come in and had an issue with something they did with her hair and not sure if it was a manager or some one in charge they talked down to the person and she strated crying I would not recommend this place and will not be returning Here with my girlfriend any more .

Every time I come to Cline’s I’m treated like family. The customer service, experience and staff are all wonderful. I’ve been coming here for 10+ years and I’ll never go anywhere else. I recommend Clines to anyone. Tammy (the owner) goes out of her way to make sure clients are happy.

I came to Columbia for a wedding and wasn’t planning to go to a salon, but my sister had an appointment so I tagged along. I’m so glad I did. Clines rearranged things and managed to squeeze both my other sister and myself into their full calendar. Tammy is some kind of magician. I left with the most beautiful cut and color I’ve had in twenty years! All three of us left more gorgeous and confident than when we walked in. I live 7 hours away and am already trying to figure out when I need to return. If you are fortunate enough to live within an hour of Clines, do yourself a solid and schedule an appointment. You’ll be thrilled you did.

I decided to give this salon a try after reading so many great reviews. The atmosphere is low key and just all around relaxing. Very clean. A real vibe! Mary did an amazing job coloring my hair with some lowlights. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. It's been a while since I genuinely liked how my hair has looked but by the end I was almost in tears seeing EXACTLY what I asked for with some suggestions she had to make the vision I had even better. Even got to meet the owner who was also very courteous. I would def recommend giving this place a try. You won't regret it!

I had reached out to Cline's for some help "going grey". From the first email I was immediately put as ease. Tammy & her staff want to get it right every time y'all. They really took time via emails then phone calls to my consultation today to make sure they understood my hair goals! Super excited!

I love this place!!!! The owner, Tammy, did my hair (which was long and damaged and looked dull and lifeless). She cut, conditioned, highlighted and styled it and it looks amazing! I feel like a new woman and I’m so excited to show my husband! :)

I’ve been going to see Tammy since 2012. I’ve moved to three different cities including Charlotte, Nashville, and Denver and cannot find anyone that cuts my hair as good as she does. I fly back from Denver around every 4-6 weeks to see her and get a haircut, that’s how good it is!

I started here a lil over a year ago. The first two times with the stylist Mary she did a awesome job even after sharing my previous hair disasters. The 3rd time she did my hair the outcome was great. My roots were orange. She had no problem bringing me back to fix it. Which fried my hair bleaching it again the very next day but I understood that as I had a prior engagement and needed it fixed. I didn’t get the root tap that time bc I was afraid the darker color would pull more orange so she did it to the root as far as she could. I called yo schedule another appointment 6 mos later as I wasn’t upset with Mary. She had been great and I wanted to give her another try. She didn’t feel as confident doing it so she referred me to Nicole. I ended up with a full color as I was told I didn’t have enough growth to do a bayalage. The top still had some warmth and Nicole was great she offered to bring me back and fix it complimentary. And I was fine with that. I got a call that night from the salon owner informing me that it would not be complimentary. That it had taken Nicole 5 hrs to do my hair and they treat that as corrective color. Wait a min I’m confused bc nothing was wrong with my hair I only wanted my new growth bayalaged. But I got a full color with warmth in the top instead. Owner said she had to charge me $150 an hr. When this lady sat right in front of my face while I was getting my hair done and stated how dark my hair was. I feel like at that time I should of been told what their policies were. It’s not my fault that my hair did not bleach all over the 1st time. And I’ve always shared with the hair stylist my blonde journey. You’d think that they would tell ppl that if your hair doesn’t take the 1st time they’ll still be a charge to correct it. What happened to good customer service and the good salons to where they fix unhappy customers hair. Your stylist told me she could deliver but now you telling me she can’t fix it at no charge? I paid $300 to get it done. I’d avoid this place as all the owner cares about is money and not the happiness of her customers. I’ve been a loyal one even after my last session that came out not so great. And I was ok with it. I didn’t blame anyone the stylist Mary made it right. As she should of. I called back and left a message for owner to call me and she never did. I won’t be returning and I’ll be sure to put the word out about the greedy owner.

Love Cline's, I've been a customer since I moved to Columbia over 6 years ago. All of the ladies are welcoming, professional and talented. I love Tammy, the owner, who does all of my cuts and styling. You can't go wrong with Clines!

After almost 3 years of living in Columbia and absolutely hating every hair cut that I received here, I finally found my stylist!! April was incredible and gave me the best haircut I’ve had in years. The style is stunning. She did an amazing job and is such a sweet person, I really enjoyed speaking with her as well. 10 out of 5 stars!

I wasn't sure what the post-covid haircut experience would be like, but Cline's did a great job limiting the number of people inside the salon and ensuring everyone was wearing their mask. I feel like I just lost the weight of a year thanks to my haircut from Mary who made conversation easy and checked that my mask wasn't hiding any stray long hairs.

Had yet another wonderful visit with Tammy at. CLine Salon Vista today. I think the gift of a A1 stylist is to decipher what you say to what you really mean! Done yet again! Tammy is a master. Color, cut and a keen eye for detail. All the stylist follow her lead! What an awesome experience!
