I am not very picky about my hair, but the cut I got at Clip'n Curl was the worst one I've ever had. The layers in the front are a choppy scraggly mess, and it is strikingly uneven throughout. My hair somehow got fried in the front, which it wasn't before, and I didn't even have color or styling! I'm not even sure how it could've gotten this bad. I had to fix it myself and wish I would've just cut it myself. I have no background in hair, but I can and have done MUCH better. Not to mention they charged me more than the final receipt amount. The cut was $30, I tipped $8, so the final amount I wrote on the receipt was $38. The amount that came out of my bank was $38.90. I don't care about the 90 cents, but it's shady AF and makes you wonder what the heck is going on with this place.

I got a butterfly layers and she was really patient, friendly, and consistently made sure my hair was even at the bottom. I just found my new hairstylist. For $20 bucks too, that’s a steal.

Loved the updo Yolanda did for me. It was perfect, lasted several days and I received lots of compliments. Was grateful she was able to work me in. She is an artist. Professional, talented, friendly and enjoyed the atmosphere. Very satisfied. SueB

First time customer. My daughters (ages 5 and 10) both have very long, frizzy, curly hair. Yolanda lovingly and patiently untangled their hair before cutting it dry, a great technique for curly hair. My girls loved the salon, it’s cute and cozy. There was another stylist there who was very kind to us as well. The price is unbeatable. $40 for 2 haircuts plus shampoo!!! This place is a hidden gem ❤️

Wanted a bleach and cut. When she went to bleach she was going to start at my roots first! Couldn't understand what I wanted for a cut. Never had so many issues trying to explain in my life.

I have been patronizing this salon since my family first moved to South Austin in 2008.my hair is cut to my specifications always and my stylist Terry is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about her trade,the place is always busy,so make an appointment,walk-ins are always welcome! I highly recommend this salon for the entire family, it's hard to find a less expensive salon for a haircut ($12)

Yolanda is very good hairdresser and very reasonable. Have been getting perms and haircuts from her for years. I like a perm that holds in my fine hair but isn't kinky and it lasts for 2 to 3 months. Highly recommended.
