My experience with Felicia was absolutely the best service I have gotten. She was so kind and very passionate about what she does. She made me feel like I had known her for years and we had only just met. I left with my hair looking the best it ever has and I left feeling more like myself. I will be going to her for all of my hair needs. Felicia was very helpful with explaining the process and coming up with what would look great. She took her time and was very detailed in the cut. I couldn’t be happier.

Clover & Woolly is a really cute, warm space with such a kind staff! Felicia is an absolute artist with both her cut and color and I am so impressed with how elegant, dimensional and beautiful my color is. This was the first time I’ve colored my hair in 10 years and I am officially obsessed!

Felicia is the best! Spent time talking about options, best solutions and how to get there. She knows curly hair! Got mine back to bouncy tighter curls with beautiful cool blonde highlights to cover up gray. Highest recommendation. Salon is also wonderful. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and special. Who doesn't like that?

First I want to say that I've heard amazing reviews regarding all of the stylists from this salon. I decided to deviate from my normal stylist and am truly disappointed. I paid over $400 for a color that barely looks like anything was done. The stylist who blew out my hair left it halfway blown out. I mean I had curls peeking out under and roots that were curly. The stylist seemed to be in a rush. I came home hoping once a wash happened id be happy. The entire thing damaged my hair. I asked for the same thing that my other stylist would color, and have never had anyone damage my hair so severely. My hair literally broke off in the shower as I conditioned it. I'm in shock to have spent over $400 on something that was "halfway done" not even a change, and forever changed my hair not for the better. If you have thick hair stay away.

I am so glad I found Felicia last year! She just recently moved to Clover and Woolly and it’s such a cute salon. I’ve been looking for someone in Jacksonville to give me that beachy, lived-in bronde look and Felicia does just that! She nails it every time and my color looks so natural and grows out nicely allowing me to increase the time between salon visits. Worth every penny! She really takes her time and makes sure it’s perfect to her standard and to the client’s. So glad I found such a great hairstylist and sweet person 🙂

I'm always telling stylists that I have wavy hair and if they will cut it with that in mind I might be able to have the volume I need to cover my hair loss from hypothyroidism. Until two days ago, no one listened. So I sprayed, and I teased, and I stretched my hair to force it unnaturally. Finally, I’ve met Felicia Lamar at Clover and Woolly. Not only did she listen but she did a tremendous job of getting all the details that mattered…. As long as Felicia and I both live in Jacksonville, she’ll be my stylist for life!

Love this salon, love the owner Martha. One of the kindest, most down to earth stylist I have met in a long time..not to mention she’s amazing with textured/curly hair, which is so refreshing to find. Very happy I found them, 10 out of 10!

OMG I spent 100 dollars for the worst experience Worst haircut Worst experience I wanted a specific haircut and got something nothing like I asked for was told to come back to get what I wanted live and learn found a wonderful hair dresser who gave me what I wanted for 55 dollars So disappointed with the experience - Horrible experience I tried to talk to her and I waited too long to get money back Then she said I was harassing her NO wanted half of the money back after trying to get satisfaction she said she had offered my money back but now I was to late to get anything Well found a woman who gave me the best haircut ever exactly what I wanted- Worst shampoo Worst haircut and there is no receptionist and you have to stand at a bar like area to pay - you are ignored when you enter and then you get messages - if you are 15 minutes late you do not get to keep your appointment and if you do not cancel within so many days you will be charged and if you do not park properly you will be towed. I received so many emails that I wanted to cancel before I ever showed up Oh well now have a wonderful hairdresser =

Clover & Woolly gives such a calming and pampering atmosphere. I refer to Martha as my curly hair wizard! She is so knowledgeable in how to cut and style curly hair in a way that lasts for months. I now book with her just every 6 months because her cuts age SO well. London has also given me the best balayage in the past. All the stylist are incredibly talented. You’re in good hands with any of them. Also, the products they use/supply for purchase are amazing. I’ve always referred to my hair as “having a mind of its own.” Over the last year, I’ve slower transitioned to using their R&Co products and my hair has never been so healthy and manageable. Highly recommend every aspect of Clover & Woolly!

I followed my hair dresser, Lauren to Clover and Woolly. I have been going to Lauren for over a year now for my haircuts and I can’t help but tell her how amazing she is every-time she cuts my hair because it’s just so true. She is easy to talk to and fully listens to your requests and does such a great job understanding what you want. She is very detailed, thorough, patient and thoughtful in the way she cuts your hair. I could not recommend her more!

I have been waiting over a decade to find a place like Clover & Woolly salon. The owners Martha and London are highly detail oriented and fabulous businesswomen. Not only is Martha a wonderful person, she is a skilled Hair Stylist and Colorist. I loved my new hair and experience as a new customer. Highly recommend this Avondale salon!

Danny is an absolute incredible stylist. He is such a nice person and very knowledgeable with cuts and color. He lightened my brown hair, dyed it purple, and cut my hair. I could not have asked for a better stylist. It usually takes me a few appointments to warm up to a stylist; however, I felt immediately comfortable and we talked the entire time. The environment of this salon is very professional while also inviting. I cannot recommend this salon & Danny enough!

I followed my hairdresser Kaylee to Clover and Woolly salon. I love her and don’t ever want to have to find another hairdresser. The atmosphere of the salon is awesome and if I walk in and Kaylee is busy, I am always greeted by another person and felt welcome.

I've been seeing Martha for many years and i'm always impressed with her level of professionalism and knowledge of all things hair! Even though she's highly experienced, she's always continuing to learn and because of that I fully trust her with any new ideas she wants to use on my locks. Her salon and all the stylists who work there are a pleasure to be around. I would recommend anyone book an appointment here, you won't be disappointed!

Just learned that my long-time stylist from the NY metro area Nikki has just moved to this salon. I’ve driven two hours for the last 9 years (after moving to CT) for her hair cut. Nikki is amazing. The good news is that I have family in Jax and now I have a good excuse to visit the Sunshine State more often. Two hour flight or a two hour drive,? Either way Nikki is worth the ride.

The best salon in Jacksonville. My stylist is Martha, and she is incredibly talented. She studies her craft and can fix any problem my hair throws at her. I love the way that she always has new ideas tailored to my specific hair while also never pressuring me beyond my comfort zone. Spending time in her chair is a delight thanks to her sparkling personality and great sense of humor. The salon itself is beautiful and relaxing, and all of the stylists are friendly and chic. I especially like that you feel pampered and treated when you're here, but the space is not pretentious. Truly a wonderful all around experience and quality service. I moved to the other side of town, and I still drive in JAX traffic to get my hair done here!
