I’ve been here 3 times for hair coloring since July 2023. Each time I got my hair bleached to platinum and colored grey. She charged me $60 the first time which was $15 off being that she was disappointed with how the color came out (and so was I), she gave me a bottle of leave in conditioner spray for the inconvenience. The second time I came, I needed my roots touched up, the color came out perfect, it only took her 2 hours to complete the service, she charged me regular price $75 and left me with a bottle of leave in conditioner spray. This last time I went there I needed my roots touched up again, however I asked for just the bleach to platinum with no extra color. She ended up bleaching the roots and using an extra color that I did not ask for. It also took her over 4 hours and she asked me if I had additional time to stay for a treatment as my hair looked very damaged after all of the processes. After staying for the treatment and my hair not being the color I asked for (platinum blonde) she attempted to charge me $150. When I reminded her of the previous price, she told me she would charge me the same price as before but just add on the treatment (which she explained she wouldn’t charge me for only moments earlier). I ended up paying $120, almost twice as much as I normally pay, for a color that isn’t what I asked for, a treatment I was told would be free, and no bottle of leave in spray … and I will now have to go in and bleach it again myself. Been going here for about 10+ years great service. Friendly and my love come out looking good every time. I don’t have anyone else touch my head and I think if you need any hairstyle she can do it so definitely come on by.

The man is an absolute legend in his craft, a magician with his tools, from braids to locs, afro’s, designs, color dying, he’s got you. I’ve been a faithful client for 20yrs plus, just tell him Keys sent you and he’ll take care of you 😉

Coco Salon is the best at everything!! I truly appreciate Olivia and Jermaine they are incredibly amazing and perfectionist at what they do. Been going to Coco Salon for 2 years now and never had no complain. Always had a great experience and they treat you with love and respect. Very beautiful salon aswell. I highly recommend to everyone. Olivia is the best she has magical skills.

I love coming to Coco Salon when taking care of my locs. The space is warm and inviting and I always receive great care and attention when getting my services. I love how fast and efficient my appointments go and the fact that i can keep my style in for atleast a month. I would highly recommend if starting or looking to maintain your locs.

They are ALL amazing. Its hard to find a hair salon where all the stylist meet the mark, but they ALL show out and provide you with what you want and more! Well in two weeks it'll be my year loc anniversary.. I started my locs with coco and it's been a beautiful journey.. The staff is so polite and helpful.. And I was recommended by my cousin and am not disappointed.

3 STARS: First and foremost I am not dismissing Stacey B's talent. She's amazing. I love to give credit where credit is due so that's the 3 stars. 2 STAR: On Sunday, 09/18/22, I received a message reminding me of my hair appt for tomorrow, 09/19/22 at 10:30 AM. It appears automated. On Monday, 09/19/22, I was stuck in traffic in an Uber and I texted her and informed her that I apologize that I will be 10 mins late as I am in traffic. She called me back stating that she did not know that I had an appointment today and she is now in New Jersey with her kids. I completely understood and inquired if I could reschedule which hours later she confirmed that I can meet with her on Wednesday at 6 PM. I unfortunately still had to pay the Uber, fine. On Wednesday, 09/21/22, I texted in the morning stating apologies that I cannot come in and asked if she had any availability either on Sunday or Monday. [I could not come in because I was feeling unwell and was just in the ER recently (I didn't text her this)] - No Response On Thursday, 09/22/22, I texted a follow-up inquiry - No Response. Typical me I start to worry so I think just wait because maybe there is an issue. Saturday, 09/27/22, I sent a DM on Instagram thinking maybe her phone is not working - Message seen; no response. I felt like I chasing after her. It is definitely hard finding a Black hairstylist and then all of a sudden they drop you like you did something and you're chasing after them. Now I am taking out my own hair because it is overdue and I accidentally cut my own hair because I am still unwell. I honestly hope all is well but a response would have sufficed and this was uncalled for.

I came here to get a silk press with Stacey. I was having a hard time finding a hairdresser that did silk pressed well especially with my natural hair and Stacey knocked it out of the park. The salon is so clean and aesthetically beautiful. Everyone was welcoming and I could tell they knew what they were doing. From start to finish I felt taken cared of and I love how my hair came out.

They have a no waiting policy for any guest you may bring for second opinion. You must make a reservation, they are violent with your hair far beyond tender headedness. Lots of my hair was ripped out in a detangle. They charge tax they will also quote you a price that will change later. The only reason they haven't gotten a single star is because they did the job stylistically correct and I'm happy with how I look. Just a very unpleasant experience and getting your hair done should be stress relieving.

Ok, so first off the salon is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. I made an appointment for a loc maintenance (wash, twist and style) and am very satisfied. The staff were very friendly and LouLou hooked me all the way up from start to finish. Her wash! Whew! Heavenly! And she even paused to ask if I was tender headed! I did a brief stunt under the dryer to remove some of the moisture from my locs then we discussed style and she went to work giving me double strand twist and a gorgeous half up/half down do. I will definitely be back! Also, the music was perfect!
