Hair stylist was super sweet but scalp was not washed the best. I went yesterday and it’s the next day and my scalp is still dirty. I expressed I had lots of product (should have been washed 3 times) but was washed twice very lightly which didn’t make my scalp clean. Stylist was very nice but jt sucks to pay for a Blowdry and the next day it be dirty :(

They should have various styling sprays for different types of hair. My hair is fine and they weighed it down with leave in from it’s a 10. It came out flat and there was no fix. Nevermind the fact that I left with a completely different look than what I had asked for.

I recently made an appointment for a Mineral anti-friz treatment. When I went in the woman who was providing the service, apparently wasn't told about my service and gave me a regular wash and blow dry. After which it was clarified that I had booked a different treatment. I heard parts of the conversation where it was decided not to give me the treatment I had originally booked because it would take too long to start over and they would only do half of my service. The entire conversation took place in Spanish which I have a hard time speaking but I can understand perfectly. And no one felt the need to explain the situation to me, and the mistake that had been made. Once I had asked what happened when I was expected to pay for the entire treatment, I was told that the texture of my hair would not be able to handle the treatment I had originally booked. There was no conversation about how possible price changes and no apology to me about this mistake. What was done to my hair came out beautifully. But I do feel that I was taken advantage of and lied to about the entire situation. On that alone, I do not recommend going to this establishment.

Made an appointment yesterday for 5pm at Bird Road. When I arrive to my appointment the girl at the front lets me know that my appointment was actually for Doral. Once I try to show her my appointment confirmation she says “oh sorry that is a different patient , you actually don’t have any appointment booked” mind you , I am showing her my confirmation. She continues to say there is nothing she can do for me. what annoyed me the most is that she didn’t even PRETEND to try & help me find a solution knowing that I had a appointment that was most likely accidentally deleted off the schedule. I wasted my time & i can’t deal with the disorganization or the lack of customer service at this place.

I like it but when I book with my favorite person and she is off that day they never call me and advise it’s a different person. I make these appointments weeks in advance and I wish they respected my time.

If I could give negative stars I would! Stay away from this hair salon! I booked an appointment for a blow dry and cut. They canceled my appointment ON THE SAME DAY, a couple of hours before I was supposed to be there. They canceled with a text message. When I called they did not try to accommodate me at all. I have a very important event tomorrow. And now I need to run around miami to find someone else to do my hair. UNRELIABLE. UNORGANIZED. just overall a ridiculous situation.

I'll start by saying that I have curly hair and a lot of it. It is not the curliest but I know the sheer amount alone can be quite cumbersome. I went a few times and the girls did a decent enough job so I have continued to go. I obviously do not expect to walk out of there how I look walking out of a Dominican salon. I was always told that of it takes over 1hr. They would charge more and I completely understand this policy. However, the last few times have been a real disappointment. I feel like the hair dressers are focused on getting the job completed in 1hr. rather than doing a good job. One time I felt she did not do a good job washing my hair. The next time my hair puffed up right away and the last time it was a combination of the two. It appears my hair was not adequately dried the way it got all frizzy upon entering my vehicle. It's not the weather because it does not happen with other hair dressers. I even had dandruff in the car even though my hair had just been washed and typically it takes me days after a wash to develop dandruff. Unfortunately, after this last time, I do not see myself going back.

My daughter went to get her hair straightened and curled before prom. The salon was packed with someone in every chair. It’s a cute coffee and blow dry bar. I would definitely recommend it. They did a great job on my daughter’s hair. She has short, thick, tight curls and Mari went above and beyond on my daughter’s hair. She was so welcoming, sweet and kind and had patience for my daughter’s hair. Thank you for making my daughter’s vision for her hair that night a reality. Can’t say enough good things. Christy at the front desk was so helpful and kind and greeted everyone with a smile. Check them out. You won’t be disappointed.

My go to salon to do my blow dry. I am there almost every eeek. Fast, reliable and you can tell them exactly how you want your hair. The best part is getting a coffee while doing your hair. 🙃

I am giving it 3 stars for the fact they do good blow drys. But it's unfortunate they do not diffuse hair. As someone who has wavy/curly hair it's extremely difficult to find someone to just wash your hair and dry it with your natural pattern. Hair and Coffee only caters to making your hair straight or adding curls with a wand. I wish they would cater to all hair types rather than one.

I booked two appointments, one for my daughter and me. Im giving one star because the girl I was scheduled with (Alexa), didn’t show up for my 8am appointment. Thank god someone’s client didn’t show up to do her hair. I had my holiday pictures scheduled at 10am and I don’t know what I would’ve done had everyone been booked.

I had been coming here for about two months and honestly was enjoying the convenience of having my hair done every two weeks and it being less than 5 minutes from me was a plus. However, yesterday I had my hair done only to realize that the stylist didn't do a good job washing my hair. Came home last night to brush my hair and find my scalp had dandruff and felt itchy. I reached out thinking that surely they'd fix this (I'm a business owner myself and always make sure to make things right). Their social media rep offered to make a new appointment for tomorrow but I'd have to pay full price AGAIN after having just paid yesterday to have a job not well done. To say I'm highly disappointed is an understatement as I was hoping to continue going there. Would not recommend, I've had my hair done many times and never had someone leave my hair with dandruff only to then not fix it.

Vanessa R was so wonderful she listened to me and offered great advice. I told her curls always fall out and I had an event at 6 pm, it was 3 pm at the time. Today three days later I STILL have curls.i got so many compliments on my hair and i felt beautiful.Thank you so much, I usually pick first available stylist but from now on I will be requesting vanessa R.
