We just moved to Portland and I am so excited to find Dustin. He nailed my hair color ( improved it in fact) and a great trim ( also improved) and we had fun chatting the whole time. His salon is cozy and comfortable. I am so happy!

I have had my hair colored a couple times, but it never was this wonderful. I absolutely love what Dustin did, and so do absolute strangers. I have been stopped several times just in the last week by both men and women complementing the colors in my hair. The photos do not do it justice. It was my choice to keep some of the grey natural, and it came out just the way I wanted.

I was super nervous that he wouldn't be able to do my kinda hair, black ✊🏾kinky, coily and thick hair. I did not leave disappointed! I will be making a another appointment! Next time for color!

Great quality, I have never had such a good experience with hair cuts. For the longest time I hated getting my hair cut but this place reminded me how awesome it can be to get a hair cut. Dustin is the most professional, kind and flexible hair stylist I have worked with. It’s also amazingly clean and great for people nervous about leaving their house because of Covid.

I am new to the area and was looking for someone to do my hair. (Always a traumatic experience since I am super picky) So I went on Yelp and saw "The Color Palette". I LOVED the name and the review were good so thought I would give it a try. Dustin exceeded my expectations!!! First of all he is very warm and the salon is beautiful. Even in this weird Covid time when you have to wear masks while you are getting your hair done, Dustin made me feel pampered. With very little direction from me, He was able to get exactly the color I was looking for and a super cute cut to boot. I have already received compliments on my hair. I feel so blessed to have found such a wonderful place. I highly recommend that you go see Dustin. He is a great listener, a master with color, and cut. Triple threat! Can't wait to try some new color ideas we discussed, next time I see him.
