I booked Cheriese Cowens for myself and my bridal party on my wedding day. Cheriese is the only one I let do my braids, so I knew she’d also be the one to do my wedding look. We talked about the style I chose throughout the summer and different ways we could elevate the look. She came prepared and even had hair accessories for my bridal party. She’s professional and works quickly and always finishes with an amazing style.

Me and my daughters had a great time at Colorful Creations! The service was amazing, the results were spot on and exactly what we wanted. Charise was our stylist and she was very nice and nonjudgmental towards our hair. We will definitely be coming back!

I had to get back on here and edit my review from a 5 star to a 1 star. My daughter had ended up getting a drawstring ponytail that I wanted sew on. The hair stylist Cheriese Cowens said she couldn't sew it on unless she leave it up a long time. This was no excuse. If you want something done, I feel like please do what your customer ask and not make excuses. The first time we went to her, our hair style looked great, no issues but this second and third time I was not to happy. I felt like she was rushing as well as to why she didn't want to sew it on. My daughter hair didn't even last a good week, so I text her and told her that the pony tail came down within two days. She didn't once say if I bring her back in she can put more bobby pins in as well as doing it over and sewing it on. She lied and said she wasn't putting no Bobby pins in when I asked her but instead she put two like that was going to keep it in place and it didn't. I believe she also price gouge her stuff because when I book online for one price, in person she tells me a different price instead of being upfront about her prices. This last time she did my daughter hair, it was the wrong style. I booked for braided cornrows, she put Knotless braids in her hair. I was looking to pay 85.00 is what I was told but instead she still charged me 100.00 but the style was 165.00. However she still took the 65.00 off and still looking for me to pay 100.00. She didn't tell me at first that the style was 165.00, so when she said she will take 65.00 off I'm thinking off the 100.00. Just think if I didn't have the extra to pay 15.00 more to add up to be 100.00. I text her on another style and said she getting braided cornrows going to the back. She said it will be 90.00, so when I got my braided updo I asked how much will her hair be again she said 90.00 but in person she told me 85.00 which was OK cause I'm like ok 5.00 cheaper. After taking my crochet style down, the front where my widow peak is at was losing hair and a little around my edges. Which was a whole lot fuller before I started going to her. My daughter and I will not be back. She just all out for the money and not really caring about the hair. My daughter and I will not be back. We will go somewhere else better.

My stylist/braider was exceptional and fast. The only issue was that she started my appointment an hour after my scheduled time. It may be an issue if your work is also appointment based and you are trying to manage your time.

My mother and I treated ourselves as a combined Birthday/Mother's Day gift. Our tech Reese was amazing. Very professional and very nice. We will definitely go back again.

I wandered into this salon over a year ago with damaged hair. After working with my stylist and creating a customized treatment not only is my hair healthy but also retaining length! Bobbianne is the truth and will listen your wants but also explain your hair needs!

After 10 months of not getting a retwist I came in and Bobby Ann saved my locs. She was so patient and informative the whole process. I came in feeling helpless and I’m walking out feeling grateful. Definitely book her plus she’s a sweetheart. 20 out of 10.

I had THE best experience at colorful creations, my stylist was Bobby Ann and she is amazing. She gave me a consultation of my hair and suggested different ways to get it healthier since I’m transitioning. She kept me aware of the process the whole way and was very helpful whenever I had questions. I got a silk press and my hair looks and feels amazing definitely a 10 out of 10 recommend going there and ask for her.

I love this beauty shop it is the best. I love my stylist Frances she always has my hair on point. She did a wonderful job coloring my hair I got so many compliments. Come here if you want good service and you need anything pertaining to beauty done. It's relaxing and everyone is so friendly. I couldn't ask for a better beauty salon.

The salon is a top 👌 notch. Today I experienced one of the absolute most professional stylist and her name is Bobbieanne....I walked out of there extremely happy because she's guuud yaw. I can go on and on. She even explains and educate you on ideas for making your hair better. I believe in tipping, she deserved even more..Thank you Ms Bobbieanne. You made this ol lady happy....

Went here for the first time very politely. I received a sew-in with a lace front that had come loose while out of town and it was a very embarrassing experience for me. I called back and explained my experience and the ladies were very sympathetic and gave an appt to redue my hair. That's very rare and I just want to say thank you, ladies.

Cheriese is the absolute worse! She's ALWAYS late and this last time didn't even show up. The salon owner is very sweet and reached out to her, however, after waiting nearly an hour I left. She clearly has no business etiquette and is held to no standard for being a stylist in the salon.

Do not go to Bobbie Ann. She is rude and over schedules clients and will not care anything about your time. Throw the whole beauty shop away and go to savvy salon instead. You will be happy you did. Nice beauticians and professional without overcharging.
