Missy is the best. Her understanding of color is completely unsurpassed. She is helping me to integrate some gray into my look so that I don't have to do my roots so often. Her approach is subtle enough that I'm not "gray" but effective! She's also a wiz with my cut - which given the curly, frizzy nature of my hair is not an easy task! Highly, highly recommend.

I had the best experience here! My hair color is finally exactly how I want it and Marisa took such amazing care of it. She is incredible at assessing hair and finding the perfect color and treatment for you. It was amazing service and much more affordable than most places I have tried. I’m so glad I found my new colorist and stylist.

The best hair dying/styling experience I’ve ever had! Missy showed me swatches to help me determine exactly what color palette I was looking for, asked questions about exactly what I wanted, and even moved around her schedule so she could fit me in the same day for a full balayage! Her blending skills and creativity is unmatched and she is the sweetest person! Couldn’t recommend ColorLab more!

Absolutely the best hair cut experience I have ever had! I usually feel pretty awkward at hair salons but she did a great job making me feel comfortable and was a great conversationalist. I really appreciated how detailed she was and that all my preferences (even how much time I liked to s[end doing my hair in the morning) was taken into account. And she brought me a glass of cold water right when I came in which was so nice. I will definitely be returning!

Missy is amazing and the vibes here?? IMMACULATE. I wish I could get my hair cut more often 😂 Missy listened to exactly what I wanted in my haircut and gave expert advice along the way to keep my hair healthy and beautiful. Also, we had such a great time just talking that I couldn’t believe it when she said I was all done! Cant wait to come back and can’t recommend her enough.

Missy is the best! She’s so knowledgeable and has such a great sense of color and blending. Not to mention, best cut of my life. Over the years I’ve had some really questionable cuts (from others) but since Missy has been my stylist this hair behaves!

I am so happy to have found Marisa. She really listened to me - the day to day look I wanted, the amount of effort I’m ready to put in, where I am today and where I want to go - and gave me my literal dream hair. I am in love with my hair! She also taught me things I’m embarrassed not to have known about my hair - what stress does to it, how often to wash - but she never made me feel embarrassed. Not once. Plus it was a breeze to spend an hour and a half chatting! If you’re intimidated by places that make you feel like you should know more about your body than you do, or you don’t want to leave the salon looking like a politician’s wife, Marisa is the one for you. This is the long term relationship I want with my hair stylist, and my hair!

I am very fortunate to have Missy be my stylist. She is very professional, very talented, and cares a great deal about the quality of work she does. I have had bad experiences in the past at other salons but have never had a bad experience at hers. She is very talented, very professional, and very caring about the people she interacts with. My hair doesn't always cooperate, yet she always does a fantastic job, taking the time to make sure I am getting the best experience. So that's why I highly recommend Missy at the Colorlab Salon.

I visited for fix my highlights which I did myself and messed up. I had a consultation with Marisa before my coloring. She explained everything what I need to know including price. So there were no surprise when I had coloring. During session she educated me how to keep healthy hair and tips. When I fished I was a bit worried because my hair color turned dark more than I expected. Marisa told me after I shampoo, it will turns bright and if I don’t like it she will fix it. So I felt comfortable. She knows a lot about hair chemistry! She won’t let you disappoint.

Marisa did an awesome job dyeing my hair, which I have been told is "difficult" but seemed to be no issue for her at all. She was super friendly and nonjudgmental about the fact that I have zero idea how to take care of my hair. She gave me some very simple, practical advice that I can actually use. I'll definitely be back!

Marisa is amazing. I've been coloring my hair various shades of the rainbow for over 2 years now and I've never left her shop unhappy! There are times I go in knowing exactly what I want and she does it and there are times I have this vague idea and she teases out of me the details I didn't even know I wanted! The same goes for cuts as well! Definitely stop by ColorLab if you're looking to change up your locks and add a little spice to your life!

Marisa is the best! I was hesitant to leave my previous hairdresser who I had been seeing for years but Marisa's prices are much more reasonable and her work is great quality. Missy always does a fantastic job on my hair! She keeps up with the current trends,she helps me to look more current, too! She has added great layers to my hair that help to make my face look more youthful, and her cuts are easy to style. I started out just getting cuts from her and coloring my own hair, but now I have her color my hair, too. It looks so much better!!!! Now I just look like I have brown hair, which is what I want. She can also do really fun colors for you if you want - pink, purple,blue, you name it! Last but not least, she is a lot of fun and she really pays attention to who you are so she can give you the style that's right for you

Marissa is AMAZING! My hair and color have never looked better. She listens, makes suggestions and is flawless in her work! She uses vegan, cruelty-free products (that smell wonderful) as well. Finally, to top it off, she so much fun! If you’re going to be in a chair for a few hours you better like the person in the room! Ask her for some book recommendations!!

Missy (owner of ColorLab.) is the best. She’s super knowledgeable and professional and also just a lovely person to talk to while you’re getting your hair cut/colored! Especially recommend her for a gorgeous balayage. She’s also adapted really reasonable guidelines during COVID that make visits there feel safe; very much appreciate her thoughtfulness and care for everyone’s health.

What can I say about Marisa and ColorLab. Finding a go-to stylist is a daunting task which took me a couple of years to execute after arriving in the Boston area. Then there was Missy. I’ve been going to Missy exclusively for almost 10 years and now I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else. She knows my coloring, my general style, my typical daily maintenance threshold (it’s extremely low), and my adventure level, and so I typically give her a vague guideline and let her take the reigns. Each and every time I strut out looking phenomenal. And that’s just in reference to the sprint that is the appointment itself. Let’s talk about the marathon. The original situation: I came to Missy with a ton of super fine hair that was dry and damaged after having been colored and overwashed for years, that I prefer to keep as long as possible, and am willing to exert minimal effort into, aside from washing/conditioning a couple times a week, brushing, air drying, and cutting/coloring 1-2x each year. Now, years later, after heeding her advice to achieve my hair goals, I’ve made it! My hair is super long, the healthiest it’s ever been and I can’t recommend Missy and ColorLab enough to any and everyone. Plus the salon is gorgeous, there’s easy parking, and it’s clean. I won’t go anywhere else.
