David is a talented. I was having tension headaches and the massage really helped. He has very strong hands so sometimes I had to say softer please. David obliged. I highly recommend Comfort Spa. They have always been a professional great spa.

My spouse and I got a couples massage here. They were so accommodating. Great value for the price. Our room was private with a peaceful atmosphere. Our masseuses were Yuki and Anne who were wonderful. They were great at massaging our muscles and joints and now we are both very relaxed. My strongest recommendation for a great massage place.

Great spa for a relaxing Day! I had DaiVie (I might have misspelled his name. My back hurts a lot and the muscles around my neck and shoulder are tense. Jessica gave me a good crack at the first minute of the session. When my masseur took over, he started kneading the knots in my back, shoulder and neck. I am affiliated to the military. Note, my endorsement for this place is not coming from my work place. The services are availed from my own expenses. Overall the experience is 5 star. The masseur is experience and has techniques that relieved a lot of the tensions on my sore area. Pricing is fair and I understand the tipping system they have in place. I think giving tip upfront gives them the motivation and perhaps encourages them to give you the best they could. Thank you! I will definitely go back to this place again!

Best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had. Came in for a 90min couples massage for my birthday and it was the perfect way to start the day. We’ve been coming to Comfort Spa for years now and it never disappoints. David and Liya were great. They communicated throughout the session, asking how’s the pressure, which spots need extra attention, and if we experienced any pain/discomfort. If you’re looking for a deep tissue massage, I recommend them!

My husband had just finished a marathon the day before and really needed some tlc. I called after his massage and let them know there was definitely a hiccup on there end with the massage being interrupted. Jessica(whom I spoke with) was gracious enough to fix the situation in offering a complimentary massage to rectify the situation. My husband just got back from his massage with Lily and said it was great. We will definitely be back and I will recommend them in the future. Thank you much🙌😀

This is literally the BEST SPA/MASSAGE place i’ve ever been to in the entire san diego area!!! their skills are really amazing, the music was so relaxing too, and the entire vibe and environment was just so great. I really recommend this place, the price is really reasonable too. So worth it!!!!!

Comfort Spa is my go-to place--weekly! I need frequent massages and appreciate this close, neighborhood business that delivers quality. I'm a fan of Jessica and her people. Everything is always perfect and my time there is always fun and therapeutic. I highly recommend them!

I’m hate to leave a bad review because my first massage here was very nice, but I had a bad experience here with my second massage. The masseuse used his elbow for most of the massage, hard and very close to the bone. and when he used his hands the technique was not nice. There were no times where I felt my muscles were getting directly massaged. It felt like poking fingers giving me bruises. I probably should have requested the first masseuse.

I told the therapist before we started that I don’t like deep tissue massage. I told her 3 times during the massage that the pressure was too hard. I should have walked. My back felt bruised for nearly a week afterward. Plus they charged $15 more than the rate on their web site.

Had an amazing experience! Went in for a couple's massage with my fiance and we both thoroughly enjoyed our massages. The prices aren't too bad as I recieved some extra work on my neck and shoulders. I look forward to going there again!

This place is well worth the time and money. First, it is clean, prices are normal. paid $70/hour to Jessica and she resolved serious neck and shoulder pain from the last few days. Add in some good stretches and i walked out ready for a new day. If you need a strong legit massage this is a great place!

Best massage I’ve had in a really long time. My entire body was in pain and sore, but after an hour with Yan I felt brand new. She used the best pressure and hit every single spot that was hurting. Would highly recommend.

Celebrated our anniversary with a hot stone aromatherapy couples massage. This is a delightful treat, especially when the masseurs are professionals. The added touch of offering discounts for cash payments sweetens the deal, making it a relaxing and affordable experience for couples seeking a soothing spa day. They had amazing technique and did entire body massage, specially focusing on neck and back.

I'd been here before for a couple's massage, and honestly is the best place I've found (there's other places in SD that I have tried; look "flashy" but all the bells and whistles are just for show). So I got a Groupon for a 60min massage, and let me tell you...it was even better than the previous massage I'd gotten here! My masseuse kept checking in with me throughout the massage to make sure I was comfortable, and also, that the hot stones weren't TOO hot or anything. I'm coming back for sure!

It was OK. It’s just a lot of rubbing. They need more technique in their massages but it was nice, just a typical massage when you go to one of the Asian spa places that are open late.

I’ll be honest, I came here skeptical not expecting much after reading the negative reviews. I purchased a Groupon for this place and it was a good deal, figured I had nothing to lose since I had already made the purchase so I tried it out for myself. The Groupon was for a couple’s massage but I took my mother. I tried to make an appointment with the business by calling their telephone number but was directed to a cellphone number where I had to text staff to make said appointment. When we checked in we were greeted and asked for our form of payment, I presented the staff member with my Groupon voucher and she honored it no problem. They have an ATM machine inside the business for your convenience if you’re willing to pay the fees, they prefer cash. The experience overall was great, we were directed to a room with two massage tables and everything looked clean. We each had our own masseuse they were both very respectful and remained silent throughout the 50 minute massage. In the end, we were greeted once more with a cup of water and expected to give a tip. I had no issues with this place and would probably visit again. I would say give it a try first for yourself before deciding this place isn’t for you. I will attach some photos of the signs I saw in their waiting area.

Maybe I just had a bad experience, but the masseuse didn’t really seem like he knew what he was doing. Pricey but the quality wasn’t worth it. Hopefully next time it’s better.

My masseuse was Yan. I went into the room and she stepped out while I took off my clothes. She was very polite and asked me how I would like my massage( medium or hard) and when she started I felt like falling asleep. She did a great job. Thank you, Yan.

Not great. We did a couples massage and got what we paid for on groupon essentially. My masseur was very rough, basically threw her weight on me the entire time with no real technique and legitimately scrapped my scalp with her “head massage.” My boyfriend didn’t feel like it was all that great either. They expect a $20 tip per person no matter what, we attempted with $35 but the ladies literally offered their hands out to us for more money and blocked the door. It’s an alright spot, what you can expect for the prices.

Purchased a couples massage through Groupon, made an appointment and we were seen right on time. Massage was amazing! Me and my husband truly enjoy it. They did an awesome job, my body just felt so relaxed after. Definitely coming back! Truly recommend!

We booked a 50min massage through groupon, and came on a Saturday when they were not very busy. The massage was so-so, and scheduling was easy, but the actual experience left my girlfriend and I both thinking "It was nice, but we would not return nor tell our friends they should go here." We arrived, and we were left sitting in the room for almost ten minutes waiting for it to begin. They began on me first (with masseuse #1), and no one was in to begin on my girlfriend for almost ten MORE minutes (mind you, this is now twenty minutes into our 50 minute massage) and the only reason the second person (masseuse #2) came was because I asked where the second person was. Masseuse #2 came in and was very grumbly and complaining about something, and then began. It felt rushed, especially for the person who was working on my girlfriend. We ended at our scheduled finish time unfortunately, which means that I got a 40 minute massage and my girlfriend got a 30 minute massage (paid for 50min). More so, they did not get to the entirety of our bodies and left a lot of areas of my arms and legs completely untouched. Also, masseuse #1 had large calluses on her hand and left my back covered in scratches. Additionally, they squeezed two beds into a one-bed room and it obviously did not fit. The ladys kept talking loudly during our entire massage and bumping into us and the tables constantly. While nice, it was not great, and we will NOT be returning to this place again. I was upset from my experience and wanted to share online.

When a place offers $50/hr, they are used to cheap people. Saw reviews before going and value of massage for price was debated. Error on the side of generosity up front in good faith they will treat you in kind. An amazing 4-handed massage is what follows. Will be going again.

Yan had amazing technique and finesse with her hands/arms! I have chronic tension in my neck and had a bad knot on the right. She fixed it and I can now turn my head to the right. Just the right amount of pressure and wonderful with the hot stones. I haven’t found a masseuse I like I in a while that is affordable (the fancy ones that charge a lot weren’t to my liking either). Will definitely come back!
