Today was my first time coming here.I must say so myself I had an amazing experience at Common Thread Collective! The atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and modern a nice old school retro feel. The Barbers are extremely skilled and took the time to understand exactly what the customers wanted. The attention to detail was incredible. They didn’t rush the process, and the results showed it. Whether you’re looking for a simple trim or a completely new style, this is the place to go. Highly recommend for anyone who values quality and great service!

First time in the shop today. What a great experience!! Geno nailed my cut and is an all around great dude. Common Thread is a very inviting atmosphere overall. Plenty of parking compared to most places in Charlotte. I’ll definitely be coming back here from now on

Sean truly outdid himself with my cut and style! As someone with naturally curly hair, I was thrilled with how he managed to enhance the look and feel of my hair's volume and thickness. Despite not having any inspiration photos, he perfectly grasped my vision from a brief explanation. I also appreciated that he styled my hair naturally, giving me a realistic sense of how it would look day-to-day. The curl products he used defined my curls beautifully without that dreaded crunchy feel, and added a lovely shine. Sean's knowledge of cutting, styling, and hair products was a clear direct reflection of his vast experience in the industry. I'd wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a fantastic haircut!

Fantastic experience with Mr. Foley at the Common Thread! Such a great atmosphere and talent out the wazoo! Sean is an amazing barber, and I’m proud to be a patron and say that even more than that, I’ve made a great friend over the years I’ve been going to him! 11/10 Would recommend!

The best! Sean has been cutting my hair and trading great stories for over two years. I tried several spots around town after I moved to Charlotte, and I couldn’t find anyone who consistently did a great job, until I found Sean. I guarantee you won’t find a better barber (or a better guy) to visit for a haircut anywhere in town. Go check out his new spot!

Sean is an absolute master at his craft. I’ve been going to barbershops since i was 8 years old, so I was a little reluctant to go to a salon for a haircut but sean absolutely killed it. Probably the best if not one of the best cuts i’ve gotten in my life. If you’re looking for a new hair stylist/barber sean is your man! I got out of his chair with the biggest smile on my face. On top of his top tier skills, his customer service is amazing, talked to me the whole time, it wasn’t awkward at all like some places can be. If you’re on the fence about booking with sean you should 100% give him a shot

Sean is an amazing hairdresser very talented and incredibly skilled he is the only one my teenager trusts , if you have a teenager boy this is the only way to go !!!! We love Sean so much

Sean truly is one of the best in the business. I met Sean for a random first time hair cut three years ago and it truly changed how I viewed my hair and beard. Every time I leave my haircut I tell Sean how confident and good I feel and it is because of the work he does. All of that on top of having great conversation every haircut is what keeps bringing me back!
