I've been going to Lynn Norman at Commoner Salon for a little over three years and the experience is phenomenal EVERY time. Lynn can translate your vague hair goals (or reference photo) into a perfect cut each time, steering her expertise with your intentions. She works magic on curly hair and knows how to bring out volume and texture. Her advice on growing out the cut/maintenance is always spot on, and my hair always feels healthier in her hands. She is a genius with a pair of scissors; I couldn't recommend her or this salon more!!

Jamie Huston was amazing! I hadn’t gotten a proper cut in years and she did me right! Was feeling wild and decided to get bangs, so glad I chose Jamie. She was super chill and sweet and it feels good to know I have a place to go for my hair now. It’s been a couple of weeks since my cut and everyone has been showering me with compliments on my new hairdo. I’ll definitely be back, thanks Jamie!

Annie Francis did my color about 8 weeks ago. She totally fixed all the color damage I had and it looked amazing! Sadly I can’t return (for now) because I’m trying to save money, but I referred my friends and know they will love her. ❤️ worth every penny!

Meg is the best. She has done my daughters and my wife's hair. A stylist on a cruise ship have my wife a blowout and wanted to know who did her color because it was so well done.

I go to Commoner to see Ryan Lawless because he does amazing blonde low maintenance balayage highlights! It always looks so natural and I feel like a new gal when I get my refresh. He gets it when I say I want “Nicole Kidman from Practical Magic” face framing fringe bangs. IYKYK. Ryan is so fun to chat with and so helpful in bringing my hair back to life. 10/10 no notes, HIGHLY recommend!

I've been seeing Ryan Lawless at Commoner Salon for 2+ years now! I came to him with my hair in bad shape and he worked his magic to bring my hair to the best it has ever looked. He does any amazing job every single time!

I made an appointment for a curly cut with Jordy. I shared with her at the begin of the appointment that I was very nervous- it has been a journey for me to love my naturally curly hair so cutting it can be a sensitive for me. She was understanding, really listened to me, empathized and walked me through each step of the process (and also just fun to talk to!). It really made all the difference- and I loooove my cut. She is amazing at her job, for sure! The salon itself is clean, welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. highly suggest!

Amber and Phoenix are the DREAM TEAM OMG! Even though I moved to Miami, I still fly to Atlanta specifically to see Amber. She does my blonde color and is the ONLY person I trust! Phoenix did my hair cut this time and WOW! Amazing.

I could never say enough good things about Ryan Lawless! I've been seeing him for a few years now. I trust him so much that when I show to my appointments I barely give any direction, I let him tell me what he thinks I need. I always feel like the best version of me! 11/10 every single time!

Leslie Cook is my hair angel. I’ve always struggled with finding a stylist that can truly bring out the Lions Mane that I’ve always known to live on my head, and until I met Leslie I was losing hope. I’ve only ever gotten a cut/dry, but Leslie’s gift to curls truly makes the world a better place. Would recommend! I’ve brought two of my other friends in and they all feel the same. Thank me later.

Love getting my cut and single process color from Leslie Cook! She’s attentive, does an amazing job and is just fun to chat with during the appointment. I have long thick hair and she tackles it all no problem. As a bonus, the salon itself has a great vibe. Highly recommend!

Phoenix? You mean Phoenix with the magical hands that works at Commoner Salon? An angel I tell ya! I desperately needed my hair “shaped up” and she certainly delivered. Then she graciously passed me to Amber and she did my blonde color that I didn’t know needed that much therapy and love. Thank you so much Commoner Salon for helping my hair look INCREDIBLE!

This place is so cute. I love the person who does my hair and have to infer from her employment there that the salon knows what they are doing. Plus sometimes there are salon dogs so that's a big bonus:)

Went to the salon for the first time after a couple of rough experiences recently. Instantly I felt comfortable, the salon is super clean and aesthetically pleasing. Lynne Norman cut my hair and went above in beyond in analyzing my curl pattern and hair type. She even did a hair mask on me (which was desperately needed) after noticing how dry my hair was. She really listened to me and gave me an absolutely wonderful haircut. I decided I wanted to buy some product and she even bagged up products for me to come pick up while she was out. 10/10 experience and will definitely be a regular.

Best hair salon I’ve ever been to! The staff is nothing but kind, professional, and incredibly talented. I’ve been seeing Victoria for about a year and a half, and she nails my cool blonde color and shaggy hair cut and bangs every single time. I’ve also had the pleasure of seeing Ryan while Victoria was out, and I echo all of the above. My sister sees Van and always comes home with amazing cuts, recently a hip shaggy mullet. I can’t recommend this salon enough!

Commoner Salon is truly the BEST!! Not only a beautiful salon, but they truly listen to what you want and absolutely nail it every time. The way Victoria colors my hair makes it grow out so well, which allows me to extend the time in between appointments. I tried a few ATL salons before finding Commoner, and won’t go anywhere else! Highly, highly recommend!

I can’t rave enough about this salon! I’m obsessed! From the moment you walk in, the vibes and aesthetics are perfection. I love all of the natural light that pours into the salon and the stylists always go above and beyond when it comes to making you feel welcome. Victoria, @theblondebrigade, is a hair genie and I always walk out feeling like a million dollars! The drive from Alpharetta is 100% worth it and my loyalty is theirs!

Love this salon and Victoria. I moved to Atlanta and had several bad experiences before finally finding her and getting my hair back to beautiful! Salon is always clean and there is a decent amount of parking nearby.

My experience at Commoner Salon has been the best salon experience that I have ever had. Leslie is fabulous and she’s the first stylist that has cut my hair so that my natural waves can thrive. I consider myself a regular at this point and have no plans to change that any time soon!

Victoria (@the_blondebrigade) is an amazing human and stylist. I have seen her multiple times as a blonde and most recently she’s helped me go back to brunette. She’s a wizard I swear but also the sweetest person. I always love spending time in her chair!
