I would highly recommend you to book a session with Joe Raya! Even though he mentioned that he is a recent graduate from a styling school, his skills are way more talented and advanced than a new graduate. Plus, he is a very nice guy, super friendly, and caring about what you need. He will make sure he understands what style you like then go ahead and do the haircut. He is a new barberer, and I believe now he is establishing his caseload, so please support him as he is a very talented and warm-heart barberer. You will like him and the haircut!

Big thank you to Francine here at Concept Barber Shop for giving me my first real haircut in about four or five years. I have been growing my hair out, but I've got a receding hairline (read: giant forehead) and it's not terribly flattering long. I had a few reference photos and a general idea of length. Francine did a great job and was able to give me an excellent textured fringe. Looks way better than I thought it would, I honestly didn't think my hair could do that anymore. After my haircut I went out to grab a beer and got carded for the first time since maybe 2019. I think that speaks to the quality of the cut in making me look younger and generally working for me. Beard looks great too. I have trusted Francine in the past for beard cuts and they were exactly what I was looking for, which is why I booked a hair appointment -- and it turned out to be a great idea. Thank you Francine!

Kann is incredible. My hair is kind of challenging because of all the swirls and coarse texture. Kann gave me an amazing haircut and I’m so happy to have found a new barber. He’s obviously an experienced professional. Concept is clean in design/decor with great vibes.

Best Barber shop downtown!!! Very clean and hip atmosphere. Good prices and they take their time. I have never felt rushed and every haircut is amazing. It's hard to find a good men's "scissor cut" without paying high salon prices. Props to my man Khan, thank you for all the amazing cuts! Parking is free and easy. They take card and apps, but pay/tip in person with cash. You will like the way you look, I guarantee it!! :p

Bad haircut that was not what I asked for. Never gotten a haircut that looks this strange. The haircut took way too long and was overpriced for the quality. Employees were nice and respectful

Booked a 1230 appointment with the new barber Matt and I came in and he had just sat a walk in down even though I had the appointment. Told me it would be another 30 so I came back in 30. Waited another 30 in the lobby and then just left. They don’t respect your time and would definitely not recommend Matt for his professionalism

I recently hit up this barber shop and was seriously disappointed with the service I received. The dude cutting my hair, Matt, totally messed up my fade and gave me a poorly done haircut that was nothing like what I asked for. He gave me some weird Mexican Edgar haircut when what I wanted was a classic fade. Being a barber that's supposed to cut young people, he didn't even know what a fade was. In addition to the subpar quality of the cut, Matt was constantly changing my instructions and seemed to have no clue what he was doing. It took over an hour for this haircut, which was way too long given the poor result. I had an appointment at 4:15, but I had to wait 40 minutes for Matt to finish with his previous client. To make matters even worse, there was only 2 hours of free parking at this location and I had to pay extra for my parking. I have never felt so ripped off at a barber shop before. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone, especially if Matt is the one cutting your hair. Stay far away from this spot if you value your appearance, time, and money. This spot may seem nice with its aesthetic barber shop/TikTok barbershop vibe, but it's seriously unreasonable. The prices are extremely high for no reason and the people cutting your hair just don't seem to understand your instructions.

My teenage son got a haircut here. Appointments are required. My son has tried a lot of haircut places so far ... This one seems to be his favorite so far. Prepare to spend an hour at the shop.

Really, really bad experience with JP. He didn't or couldn't listen to instructions and really messed up my fade - badly.
