Christine is so great. She’s efficient, cool, and thoughtful. The salon is beautiful as well with lots of unique vintage touches and customizations they’ve done themselves. I’d recommend Christine or any stylist here to anyone 🩵

I'm in LOVE with my haircut from Carrie! I appreciated that she took my low maintenance lifestyle into consideration & cut it in a way that would grow out nicely - while still being so cute & layered! The vibes at this salon are immaculate. 10/10

It’s such a treat to get my hair done by Carrie Blasco. She knows how to cut my fine hair so it lays right. She colors it with beautiful dimension that grows out well. I’m always pleased!

Got a cut a partial dye by Maryssa and she is so talented! I absolutely loved how it came out and she was able to create exactly what I wanted done. Maryssa made the overall experience feel so warm and welcoming. The actual salon is adorable and clean. Definitely check this place out!

I’ve had my hair cut by Jimmy for the past year and a half and I just love Concrete Treehouse and Jimmy so so much. I have curly hair and it feels like for the first time in my life I finally found someone who knows how to cut my hair perfectly. I also have the most friendly and positive experience every time I come in! Highly highly recommend!!!

Maryssa has been doing my bleach retouch for years, I’m always in love with my hair after she does it. She’s talented and so knowledgeable about what it takes to get the perfect shade of blonde with also keeping it healthy!

i first met carrie for a wedding hair consult and i immediately fell in love ! since then, i have never let anyone touch my hair again. i have never been more complimented on my hair in my life. no matter if i just got my hair cut or if i’m pushing it til the next trim, i am always asked who cuts my hair. i am so incredibly grateful that i found her and i recommended her every chance i get ! the salon is so cute and clean and everyone who works there is truly a gem. if i could put a million stars i would but i guess five will do !

Carrie works absolute wonders. She’s ultra attentive to details and always makes sure you’re in love with your hair before you leave her chair. My hair is very particular and she works magic on it. I’m always getting so many compliments on my hair whether it’s a balayage, fun coloring, or a bangin’ cut. Hands down the only person I’ll let touch my hair at this point. She’s also super sweet and works to make everything about your experience comfortable and relaxing. The salon is clean and absolutely adorable. There’s someone for anyone’s hair needs at the Concrete Treehouse. Could not recommend enough.

I have been going to this Salon since it’s been open and seeing Maryssa for almost 5 years now! I have gone through so many hair transformations from platinum blonde to a. brunette pixie cut and Maryssa has made me feel beautiful and confident with everyone. The salon is so welcoming and a breath of fresh air!

Jimmy does give great haircuts, I will give him that. However, I tried to schedule a haircut and color for the past two weeks with him after getting my hair cut by him in December. It took him 5+ days to respond via text twice in a row. He does not have an online booking system. He offered a date to me, which I said I would take if the evening worked for him, to which he responded almost a week later that the time had been taken by someone else and he doesn’t work that late. I would’ve been able to come in earlier but I was basing the hours I gave on my work schedule without knowing his. He did offer new dates over a month out from where we were trying to schedule. I asked that he either let me know sooner or let’s hop on a phone call to figure out details bc we have gone on two weeks trying to schedule an appointment, one that now would have to be pushed out a month from where we were trying to schedule. I also asked that he hold the March date for me in the meantime, which was a Saturday, until we could see if one of the weekday slots worked better. He responded very quickly via text (within a half hour) when I set these boundaries with him. He said that him and I were not a good fit. I was very understanding the first time he was delayed in his response, which he also noted in his text. We’re all busy. And I told him it was ok that time bc I could sense he was overwhelmed. Me asking after the second time it happened that he either respond a little sooner or we hop on a phone call is not unreasonable, especially since appointments were offered and then given to someone else. Text is not always best and it’s obvious it does not work for him. He needs an online booking system of hop on a call with his clients. This was my second time going to this salon. The first stylist left after a month of working there. If this is how Jimmy works as one of the owners of the salon, I can see why she moved on.

This salon, and all of its hairdressers are AMAZING. The vibe is on point and the decor is too cute. I love walking into a friendly happy environment and THIS PLACE IS IT. Carrie is your go to for a cute cut and some serious skills in color!

I've been going to Maryssa for years after numerous average experiences with other stylists. She knows how to achieve amazing results with blonde hair, listens to what you want, and is an all around amazing person. Anyone would be lucky to have her do their hair!

Maryssa has done my hair since 2014, she has done many different cuts, colors and extensions on me. Any hair dream I’ve had she has made it come true! She is also an amazing hair stylist on top of it all. She has styled my hair for many events, including doing all the hair for my sisters wedding! I recommend her to everyone.

Shawna is the bomb! She does the best fades in Portland, hands down. Concrete Treehouse Salon is also a very nice place with lots of beautiful greenery and a laid back, relaxing environment. I highly recommend going to get a cut from Shawna and trying out this salon!

Such a cute salon! I came across this salon walking through the Laurelhurst neighborhood, and had an amazing fade done by Shawna. Shawna is an expert barber and has a ton of knowledge and tools to make you look FRESH. I always get a lot of compliments on my cut, and I appreciate her attention to detail! The salon is big and open and bright, and makes you feel welcome. They also have some welcome drinks (finally!) including some nice beers. I love that I can walk to this place and will be going back next month for more services.
