I went and got my sons first haircut with Lupe and she was great! So patient and very good at what she does. When you go for the 1st cut they give you a certificate with a before and after picture as well as a bag with the first cut. Thank you so much for making it such a great experience.

My 2-year-old son had a bad experience at a Great Clips and this is the only place I can get him to calmly get his hair cut. They are super understanding and kind. They let the kids touch the tools to realize they won’t hurt them, let them pick their car to sit in, have a small indoor playground, and let them have lollipops and balloons. They also offer a prepaid plan for extra savings definitely worth trying if you have a toddler that is scared of haircuts.

We’ve been coming here for years to get my daughters’ hair cut, and this place has gotten so insanely worse over the last 6 months. The service has always left us a bit disappointed as most of the time there is something wrong with the hair cuts, whether it be crooked bangs or one side of hair is longer than the other. But the past 2 visits we’ve had issues with extremely bad customer service and now blatant disregard for what we asked for in a hair cut. Last appt in October, back when they still answered their phones, I called to let them know we were going to be about 10mins late to our appt. I was advised there is a 5min grace period before our appt is cancelled so we would have to be a walk in if we still showed up. We were about 5mins away so we did show up anyway. There was one family checking out and no one else in the building. I told the ladies at the desk that we had JUST called and had our appointments cancelled, so we wanted to do a walk in. She said it would be 1hr wait. With no one else there, and two hair stylists in the building. We waited about 30mins and watched the girl at the desk play on her phone, while one lady cleaned up and the other went in the back. I guess when they realized their next appointment was over 15mins late, they went ahead and accommodated us. Two months later we come back for a trim before Santa pictures. I booked one appt with a shampoo and cut and mistakenly made the other just a kids cut. I tried calling for an hour and a half prior to the appt and it went to voicemail every time. So we came early to be sure we could address our concern/request with time before the actual appt. We were willing to wait longer if necessary. But we were met with immediate rude service from Kimberly when I asked if we could add a shampoo to one of our appointments since we got there 30mins early for our first appointment and there was once again NO ONE in the building except two hairdressers, Asia and Kimberly. She said they don’t have time, and I said ok I tried calling and getting here early so we would have time but we can just omit the shampooing all together to save everyone the time. She then takes us for our first appt 30mins early, since we were the only ones there. First haircut was done before our first appt time. Second hair cut was then an issue when she mentioned how short of a “trim” she was giving my youngest. She was talking about cutting about 2 inches off of my 5 year old’s hair so I said “shoulder length is good but we do not want her hair ABOVE her shoulders”. Kimberley reiterated that to me “you don’t want it above her shoulders?” I said “no, not ABOVE them, shoulder length is good, and then we want her bangs right at the top of her eyebrows.” My daughter wanted to copy her sisters hair style and was insistent she wanted it shorter so I felt the need to make sure me and Kimberly were at an understanding. I don’t want to make it to where either of my girls don’t like their hair, but we’re also going to maintain their individual identities in the process. Well, Not only is the front of my 5 year olds hair WAY shorter than we asked, but the back of her hair is also above her shoulders. I sincerely wish there were more options for little girls’ haircuts in the area other than Hair Cuttery and Cookie Cutters. Neither location of Cookie Cutters is worth the $23 they charge for a hair cut.

I am very sad to have to write a poor review for this cookie cutters but my most recent experience left me extremely disappointed. My son does not do well with haircuts since he has a sensory issue and struggles with people touching him or his hair. We usually have Asia as our regular hairstylist for him and she is amazing with handling him and giving him a good experience. However, today Asia was not available so we had to go with another hairstylist. This other hairstylist acted like she’s never worked with kids or people a day in her life. She didn’t ask me beforehand how I wanted my son’s hair cut, she just started cutting away. My son was watching a video on my phone to help keep him calm and he got anxious when she asked him to look up from the video so she could cut a piece of his hair and she goes “well if it’s uneven there’s nothing I can do cause he won’t look up” and shrugged her shoulders. Any other hairstylist has offered him toys, snacks or put in some effort to get him to look up but she didn’t even bother and gave up after 2 seconds. These hair cuts are $20+ so to hear her say “if it’s uneven oh well” is absolutely ridiculous. She also acted like she was in a rush to get it done and the results barely looked like his hair was cut. After this, I’m not sure if or when we’ll be going back.

I have a barber that I see on a regular basis but when my son needs a hair cut, I don't mind letting Cookie Cutters cut my hair as well. They're extremely friendly and good with the kids but also do a great job on dads too!

A little upset with the customer service. It was a Friday evening and their hours state 10am-7pm and it was almost 530pm. I was pulling up at the location with my grandson asleep. So I called to ask if they had an a open chair before I woke him up. The girl on the phone said “no that they are closing early because they haven’t been busy enough.” I can understand to a certain extent but I was sitting in front of The shop and people are just now getting off work. I was upset to be turned down when I was right there. Due to having a big event Saturday morning I was out of a haircut for my son because there was no one else in the area that does children’s hair cut.

My son has been going here for about 2 years and we like it. He likes getting a balloon after every haircut and playing on the mini indoor playset. Ms. Aubrey is so patient with him and he loves her.

Asia is THE best!! We see her for every hair cut! She is so patient with my wiggle worm who HATES the cape, back of the neck, and ear area trims. She always tries to keep him happy with toys or his favorite show. The environment is as clean as a kids hair place can be. My son loves the play area, lolly pop, and ballon he gets every visit! I can’t say enough good things!

Asia is absolutely amazing! We have been going to her since we moved here a year and half ago! My 4 year old loves her and she does the best job! Definitely have to request her when you come to Cookie Cutters!

I took my 3 kids (2 and under) and naturally there was temper tantrums, fighting, chaos all around! The ladies (Aubrey and Asia) were PHENOMENAL. It’s so stressful with 3 toddlers especially and these ladies not only did incredible on my twins hair cuts but were super helpful and kind. I seriously appreciate this place so much. Thank you 🫶🏽
