I should have done my research better. The Booksy reviews are good but the google reviews are terrible. I didn’t even think to check the google reviews before booking because the reviews on Booksy were good and they had great portfolio pictures. I wanted a perm and a cut. I’ve only had one perm a long time ago so I’m not very familiar with the process. The stylist didn’t ask me what I wanted. She just washed my hair and started wrapping it onto rods. At one point I told her that I only wanted a wavy perm, but she just smiled and kept going. She used pink and white rods which are VERY tight curls. I have trouble speaking up and I kept telling myself that maybe she knew something I didn’t, that maybe the amount of product or time on my hair would change the curl type. She wrapped them very tightly and when all was done, I had very tight curls right up to the roots, which was not at all what I had wanted. I was shocked that she never once asked me what I was looking for. I had pictures saved of what I wanted but she never even gave me an opportunity. On top of it all, the perm price listed on Booksy was $65+. My hair was long to begin with, so I knew it would cost more than $65, but when it was time to check out, she told me the perm cost $160. I was SHOCKED at the difference and surprised and disappointed that she didn’t give me a heads up beforehand that it would be so much more. I was so upset and didn’t even know what to say, so I just paid and left and then cried in my car. I went to another salon to try to get it fixed. The other salon also commented that the haircut they gave me was terrible. It was choppy and uneven and they noticed that this salon had used texturing shears to cut, which is a very inappropriate choice for my hair type. I am absolutely devastated that I paid over $220 for a nightmare and that now I will have to get weekly blow-outs until my hair grows out enough to perm it correctly. I feel so stupid for trusting this stylist and I really wish I had spoken up during the process. I am completely devastated. 😭

I visited Cool Barbershop a couple of times. Every time was a different price with the same barber. Barber overcharged kids' haircuts. Poor customer service. Will not return.

Willing to pay the price $25 I did a comment where I normally go it’s $15 but still willing to pay $25but gentleman Dominican in first chair very rude. N wants to have his comments n words-I’ll take my $25 plus tip somewhere else.

Super EXPENSIVE for no reason!! Make sure you ask for the price of services before you get anything done. I went in to darken my hair, from caramel highlights to an even light brown color. All they did was dye my hair one even color. Nothing complicated. I didn't even blow dry my hair because I was on vacation and would be getting in the pool. So I walked out of the salon with wet hair. They dyed my hair, washed it and I paid $140.00. That is insane. The owner is definitely robbing customers. In retrospect, I should not have paid that much and should have just denied paying such a ridiculous amount for just dying my hair. But in the moment, I was shocked and just did what they asked. PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE. Yes they are "nice" and "welcoming" but over-changing for services to the extend that they do is not right.

This is the worst salon. I went in I made an appt. The girl with greenish color hair made my appt and cut my hair and my daughter. First off I asked her if she knows how to do the V cut. That is what I get and had and also my daughter. She said yes. Well, she doesn't. She doesn't part the hair. She just cuts. Doesn't measure it. Looked so choppy. Second I told her half an inch. She cut so much more. About two inches off. Now I have short uneven hair thanks to her. I made an appt with my original hairstylist so she can fix what this lady did. If you want your hair done correctly then don't go to that salon. To top it off she didn't even show me how my hair was cut with a mirror. I saw the mess she did when I got home. Another note: The music isn't appropriate for kids either. They should be considerate about the customers and play music the guest enjoy and okay for the kids ears. Place wasn't very clean either. Advise for hairstylist: If you don't know how to do something simply say it. Don't lie and mess peoples hair. To top it off she sends me a personal text message after seeing the review. I won't go into details but I found that rude. Please don't contact me on my personal number. That's unprofessional.

I am very unhappy with this salon and how they treat their customers. Not only did they not do what was asked, but then they get defensive when you talk to them about it. When you get your hair done, it’s not only a service, but a complete experience. And I left there with my hair looking like a mess, hair color was not done properly, and the staff was very unprofessional!!!! They also messed up my mother’s hair! Would not recommend to anyone!!!!!

I’ve been here a few times as a back up the 1st two times it was only to straighten my hair, last minute. The 3rd time about 3 weeks ago my regular stylist was out of the country for 2 months and really needed to get my gray covered. I asked for medium to light brown color and she suggested a darker color i didn’t want darker, on top of that she said the cost would be $100 for color, she saturated my hair in color, WAY TOO DARK!!!! i didn’t say anything, then wanted to charge me an extra 35 for a blow out so i decided to just do it myself, Why does a hair salon use over the counter drug store products? I just wish she would’ve listened to what i wanted. I will go back for a blow out they seem to do that well but i don’t think i would get color done especially for 100 of which i could’ve done the same job (products from sally) for 25 bucks!!!

Just paid $27.50 not including tip for a haircut on my 4yr old daughter. Not even an inch of hair was cut. My fault was to not ask for the price beforehand but the price is ridiculous just to cut her ends not even a style or anything. Took her around 10mins no wash and over $30. Gave two stars because the stylist was very friendly but not worth the price.

She cut my hair like crazy,and make it think in the bottom , i’m so disappointed..ESTA MUJER ME DEJÓ CON 3 hebras de cabello COMO DICE USTED QUE TIENE CÁMARAS , vea como varias veces le mostré la foto muy diferente al resultado y también mire cuando le mostré más para abajo del hombro Sujeri que fuera asta mas largo que la foto, encima de que pague una buena cantidad de dinero me picotearon todo el pelo están poniendo palabras en mi boca , marco con su capa y siguió para arriba cortando pedí un corte iven no un picoteo, 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
