My haircuts from Yuri always turn out super cute and lay beautifully. I wasn't completely sure what I wanted, and the questions he asked were really helpful. For things I wasn't sure on without seeing, he rechecked with me later when we got to that part. Definitely worth the money and great to chat with during services.

Yuri has created a space that is so safe and affirming that any anxiety you might feel about visiting melts away within minutes of your arrival. Yuri is very patient and supportive during the initial consultation so that your final result will represent who YOU are. If you're in any way queer or neurodivergent or anxious or have hair, you definitely need to visit Yuri!

1000/10 experience. Yuri is authentic, passionate, and highly skilled in their craft. They go above and beyond to ensure your comfort and ease being in their space. The consultation process was thorough and validating. The payment options provided the biggest sigh of relief. Yuri is well aware of over/necessary stim for clients like myself with AuDD and provides accommodations for this. I didn’t think I’d find a salon or stylist like Yuri - I can’t wait to return. Also they accept donations to provide gender affirming cuts to others which is incredible.

Such a great experience! I’ve been cutting my own hair for years because I’m never happy with results from hair cutters, but Yuri really understood what I was going for! They asked questions, and really made sure we were on the same page. I also had so much fun conversing the whole time 💚

I had so much fun, it literally felt like I was just hanging out with a friend. And it made me so much more comfortable that I could openly point out what I wanted. Usually I’m too scared to speak up when something is bothering me or if I want something different, but here I felt 100% safe! Such a nice change from all my past hair stylists, I can’t wait to go back.

One of the best haircut experiences of my life! Yuri was always checking in to make sure that I was feeling comfortable and gave me the most incredible haircut. Love my stylist Yuri and his creativity 🖤 Look at my hair. He completely revived it within an hour of our appointment. My favorite musician was playing in the background BTW. Yuri is gifted at doing hair and connecting with his clients. This is the 2nd time he’s cut my Teen son’s hair and what a relief to get the services of this talented and caring stylist! He goes out of his way to help clients (and worry wort Moms like me) feel welcomed and heard. You can tell he has a passion for helping his clients achieve the look they want and be able to easily recreate it back home. I highly recommend Cool Hair Boi Studios!!

An Amazing experience. Yuri did a thorough consultation and made sure they knew exactly what I wanted for my hair. The cut went amazingly, the vibes were great, I’ve never felt so comfortable in a salon. They walked me through everything they did and made sure I knew what was happening to my hair. I had no problem getting things tweaked when asked. Overall just a lovely salon experience and got a wonderful haircut out of it, will definitely be coming back :]

I have struggled to find a salon for haircuts for my 16 year old son (ftm) that understands what he is looking for with his hair, often the stylists act cold/bothered when they realize he is trans or just don't understand what vibe he is going for and he resulted to cutting his own hair several times. Its been almost a year since I had taken him anywhere, tonight that ALL changed for the better! Yuri spent two hours with him, asking a ton of questions to make sure he got the right look he wanted and was very patient when it took him a little while to answer. Overall it was the best experience and Yuri has an amazing energy that is unmatched! 🏳️‍⚧️💚

The technical skill of all the employees here is insaine. You're not gonna leave here unhappy I'll tell you that much. Even if you want something simple like a root touch up, highlights, or a new style and trim you'll leave this place feeling on top of the world. Great product, great stylists, beautiful clean workspace, and it's in a good area too!!!
