The location at Sean Haggerty is closed as of Oct 2024 --I have been coming to this location for almost two years. Loretta usually cuts my hair and does a great job. I will continue to come here due to its location, quick lines, and good prices and recommend it to those interested.

I love this place and all the people who work here are great but every Sunday they fail to staff for the busiest hair cut day, if they could up the staff count on weekends I'm sure they'd have more people show up and stay

Went to get my son’s haircut and was told at check-in that he would have to wait to get a scissor cut. Sat down when the other barber looked around the corner and gave an annoyed look was then told that neither barber does scissor cuts. Not sure how as a barber you don’t do scissor cuts and the first time I’ve ever experienced anything remotely similar to this. Will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

NEVER go here the lady she didnt have a name tag but she was and older lady she cant cut hair AT ALL. Had to spend money twice to take him some where else to fix it, she needs to be fired!

If I could do a 0 star review I would I asked for a simple fade and got a train wreck of a hair cut, how do you work at a place that cuts hair and you don’t know how to cut hair, multiple cuts on my head, can’t cut a straight line, one side of my head is completely different than the other, I don’t understand the lack of professional in this place I’ve been hear before and had way better a experience but after this I will never be at any cool joes again, I do sincerely hope this place and the obese Hispanic woman who cut my hair burn to the ground. On a side note if you love to look like garbage come to this place

There was one barber and me there. The lady seemed nice enough but she seemed like she was annoyed that I came in for a hair cut. I paid for the deluxe hair cut and a shave. The hair cut seemed rushed (not entirely happy with it), and the shave was just with regular clippers. That might be what their shave was, but it was a bit disappointing as well. Over all, it was an ok experience, but I'll probably be looking for another barber shop.

Been coming here for years, used to be a really nice and welcoming places, but my last couple haircuts felt rushed, and now on my most recent visit no one came out to greet me, and I stood in an empty lobby for 15 minutes with no one ever coming out.

I give 5 five stars to cool joes cuts in the northeast, always good staff specially Ruth and Loretta that are always friendly and have alot of experience in cutting hair, I recommend this salon, and ask for them if u go.

Love this place! It’s affordable and they’re good. We usually go with Niomie but she hasn’t been here the last couple of times we’ve come. My 17yr old is kinda picky and last time Kike cut his hair. My son was so happy! Kike converses with him and did a great job. He asks us exactly what he wants and he gets it done!! Here we are again needing a cut for prom this Friday and luckily Kike was here! My son was like yeah we will wait if we need to. Didn’t even have to wait 5 minutes. Great job Kike thank you!!

My husband took our son for a back to school haircut. I was not happy with the results. We have been here several times and have never had this experience. Now my son has to go to school with a very bad haircut.

The staff was friendly. The one that cut my hair was an older woman. I asked for a 0 on the side medium high and just a light cleanup on top. I left with a high and tight. There were guard marks all over my head, and it was crooked haircut. I ended up going back for a touch up by the other woman she was working with. In my opinion I would pass on going to this place.

This was by far the most unpleasant experience i have ever had at a Cool Joes in my life. The chairs are just shy of falling apart. The pure roughness of the stylist with the clippers was scary. And how does take 1/4 inch off turn into 2 inches removed is beyond me. Then, the look of disgust she gave me when I didn't give a tip was very unprofessional.

Used to go hair for haircuts and had great service, however they have an older stylist that will absolutely mess your hair up. She is fast, rough and does not know how to cut hair. I came in for buzz around and a couple inches off, she buzzed off some of my hair on top that has taken years to grow and for the trim, combed all the hair to the back and did a straight cut. Now I am left with uneven hair all around and a burning sensation on the back of my neck where a trimmer was shoved into my skin. This isn't the first time either, my roommate saw the same stylist and came home looking like he lost a fight with a lawn mower. The back of his neck was also extremely red and burning. If you value the way your hair looks, don't like pain or like to be treated like a human instead of ragdoll, I'd go with another place or pray you get a different stylist.

Was excited to take the boys to get a haircut here cause I read some good reviews once we got there I had Mt 5 kids with me walked in and rt away some old lady Said we cannot take anymore people im like wth why it was 525.. she dis t even ask how many people were gonna get a cut. only my 2 boys were gonna get a cut. She just assumed since u walked in with 5 other kids. I asked her why and she was very rude about it even her customer service way of talking to other people was very rude. She said I have 3 other people waiting but turned around and gave us her back as she said it. There was another guy there standing by her not doing anything all they were doing is talking. Would not recommend this location very rude customer service. As i got in my car 2 otherguys went in and didn't get rejected for a haircut. I write my reviews and say how it is so people know.
