Lauren is absolutely magic with hair! I had my hair done by another stylist (at a different shop) and they completely botched it! I went to Lauren for a color correction and my hair turned out so beautiful! She also explained every step in detail and made sure I knew what was happening the entire time. I will be recommending Lauren to all my friends and family, if you’re on the fence or haven’t been able to find a solid stylist she is your girl!

Such a great experience at this salon. Jazie totally exceeded my expectations for my hair. I came in thinking I wanted to go a little darker and add some money pieces but as we were talking, I wanted to change direction and add some copper to my hair, which is something I’ve never done before. It turned out absolutely amazing and this is for sure. One of my favorite hairstyles I’ve had before. Also I will mention that cutting short hair can sometimes be tricky and it has been hard for me to find a stylist who can give Me the layers that I need And she totally killed it!

EDIT: Adding this paragraph to address the note from the salon below. To anyone considering this salon, it should tell you absolutely everything you need to know that the salon sent the below response to defend their public reputation, but yet has not once tried to contact me and apologize, and has still not even replied to my request for a refund. Do not trust your appearance to people that treat their customers this way. When I called to make my appointment I explained I’d lost all my hair in chemotherapy and asked if my regular stylist (Jami) could still style my hair. I was told yes and booked an appointment. After going through my whole story with her when I arrived, she said she was going to talk to some of her colleagues for a minute. But she actually returned with one and said (in front of the new stylist) that this person would be doing my hair instead. I am very unhappy with my cut, and after losing all my hair in chemo the lack of consideration with which I was treated by this salon is especially upsetting. I did a lot of research to find Jami, and no client should be told the person that they will work with on the spot when they booked with someone that they’ve seen before and trust. Especially after being texted 20 minutes before my appointment asking me to come in an hour later, due to Jami’s scheduling conflicts, it seems that she did not have time and so pushed me to someone else. I would not recommend this salon, in particular Jami, to anyone.

I'm so happy to have found Sara B at Craft Collective West after searching for a new stylist since I moved to Denver. Sara is incredibly talented at what she does, whether that's cut, color or styling. She's versatile, authentic and truly cares about how her clients feel. With Sara, I'm always confident I'm going to walk out looking flawless. She takes the time to listen carefully, making sure she understands your vision. Not only does she deliver exactly what I ask for, but her talent and precision always exceed my expectations. Can't recommend her enough!

Response to Salon’s comment: Thank you for your response. I want to clarify that I approached my appointment following all the salon’s required processes. I had a consultation as instructed, during which my history, preferences, and goals were discussed. I also provided an inspiration picture at the stylist’s request. At the actual appointment, the stylist asked me to briefly re-describe what I wanted, which I did, referencing the details covered in the consultation. However, the stylist did not communicate back what would be done, only stating, “don’t worry, we’ll make you look good” before proceeding with my hair. Regarding the claim that I made others feel uncomfortable, I find that difficult to reconcile with my experience. I came to the salon simply to have my hair done and spent my time quietly working on my computer, speaking only when spoken to. Nevertheless, I welcome opportunities for personal growth and personable interactions with others, which is why I respectfully asked the stylist for clarification on what was considered “rude” at the time. Unfortunately, I was met with stonewalling instead of any constructive feedback. While I understand that everyone is human and mistakes happen, my experience was marked not only by dissatisfaction with the stylist’s approach and the final result of my hair but also by a consistent sense of discomfort throughout my interactions at your salon. This is not the standard I would expect, particularly when I paid over $700 for the service. I attended the “redo” appointment solely to have my hair restored to a more acceptable appearance, with no intention of returning for future services due to my prior poor experience. Despite this, I made every effort to resolve the situation with the stylist, but was met with deflection and blame, much like in this current exchange. Given these circumstances, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this salon or the stylist to others. That said, I genuinely hope this feedback serves as an opportunity for improvement for future clients. Original Review: I had a disappointing experience at this salon due to poor professionalism and communication. For over $700, I expected a more welcoming environment, better customer service, clearer communication, and greater attention to detail. Unfortunately, I left feeling emotionally uncomfortable and dissatisfied with the results. While I was required to pay a $150 deposit to hold my initial appointment, both my initial appointment (booked a month in advance) and the follow-up corrective session were attempted to be rescheduled by the salon. Despite a consultation, the stylist did not listen to my requests or explain their approach clearly, resulting in hair I didn’t ask for. Attempts to resolve the issue turned into an unproductive back-and-forth. Then, in an awkward display of “whataboutism,” she shifted to accusing me of being rude to her front desk staff over the phone. At most, I may have been brief because they called while I was at work (asking me to come in earlier just 25 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment time). When I asked for clarification about what I said that was perceived as ‘rude’—hoping to clarify and apologize for any misunderstanding—the stylist abruptly ended the conversation. While others may have had better experiences, I cannot recommend this salon based on mine.

Unfortunately had a negative experience at my consultation with Kayla. I’ve had sew ins for years as well as other extension methods and have professionally dyed my hair for over a decade. Had a loose $1500 budget which she was condescending about and she was insulting towards my current hair. Her tone when she said it was a “luxury service” I couldn’t afford was not polite or professional. I wasn’t offered alternatives or helped with my goal in any way. Instead of suggesting what direction we should go with my color she kept just saying what all would look bad on me. Definitely will not be booking an appointment at this salon.

Glory is INCREDIBLE!!! I went in for a haircut this week and she did an incredible job! She knew exactly what to do with my hair and I left feeling amazing! Highly recommend Craft Collective and Glory!

I had a horrible experience here and now I have to be reminded of it every day until my awful cut grows out. I spent 15 minutes asking the stylist to cut my hair to my collarbone and please please not too short. She gave me an uneven chin length bob that is longer in the front than in the back. At least 3 inches above my collar bone. It is atrocious and I’m embarrassed and upset every time I look in the mirror. She also told me she would offer me a “color consult” during my appointment so that we could plan for the next color appointment. She forgot, and then took her next client. I was then informed while checking out that I could not schedule a color appointment until I came in for a separate color consult in between being at salon at that moment and whatever my next appointment was. They are unwelcoming, inflexible, have obnoxious policies, don’t follow through with what they say and don’t listen to what you want. I will not be back and I do NOT recommend this salon. I saw Mae- she was very nice but forgetting to do my color consult and botching my haircut by 3 inches is infuriating for a $160 haircut.

I’ve been going to other salons and have never been 100% happy with the color , but I’m so glad I trusted Liz for my hair coloring before my wedding, she gave me the PERFECT cherry cola hair color I was looking for!! She listened to what I was concerned with (it looking too red) and asked for reference photos and absolutely nailed it. I’m OBSESSED I’ve never left a salon so happy! So excited to see how the hair looks in my wedding photos 😍 the salon was also really nice and parking was easy! Highly recommend Liz for your coloring needs!

LIZ IS AMAZING! I absolutely love my hair, and Liz has made it even more perfect! After my first session, I was thrilled with the results, but being the picky person I am, I wanted to go a little lighter. Liz was so kind and accommodating, letting me come in for an adjustment without hesitation. She not only asked all the right questions but truly listened to what I wanted. Her talent is unmatched, and I’m beyond grateful I found her. I’m so excited to continue seeing her—Liz will be my stylist from now on! Thank you so much, Liz! You're worth every penny!

I felt discriminated against, I just went today, Tuesday, September 3, to look for a color consultation, and they told me that they only had one for Thursday at 12, I asked about another day and they told me they didn't have any, how is it possible that they don't have any space for a hair consultation any day this week or next, I checked online to see if they had space for a hair consultation and all kinds of times for a hair consultation appear, why didn't they offer me other options if they had any?

Horrible experience, I wish I could go back and undo my booking. My hair is uneven and the dye job is patchy. I never think an individual could do better than a "trained professional," but at this point I'm thinking I would've got the job done

Kayla did a great job on my hair! Length is great and so is the color. Very happy with the service. I did take a star off though, because my shirt was damaged (seems to have been bleached on the top backside), and I had to throw it away.

I waited way too long (literally - my hair was practically a mane) to go see Kayla Mae, but it was worth every strand of patience! My experience with Mae was shear perfection. Not only did she consult with me about the best look for my face shape, personality, and maintenance style, but she executed with razor-sharp precision. Kayla Mae is the type of hairdresser you can go to when you crave a change but have a little anxiety about trying new styles. She will cut to the chase and tell you what will look best - no fluff, just honest and professional advice. She isn’t just someone who will cut and color your hair; she is an absolute artist with layers of knowledge and skill. My time chatting with her was the best highlight of all. Stop bobbin’ around for a stylist and book her now, or you Mae miss your chance (she books up fast)! Kayla Mae truly takes the hair-splitting stress out of finding the perfect stylist.

Erin at Craft Collective has been my hair stylist for a little over two years. During my first consultation, I told her I wanted to make the transition from light brown to red. She gave very realistic expectations during the consultation and was upfront about the cost of the initial transition and maintenance appointments. Since then, I've seen her every 2-3 months and I swear my confidence is boosted the moment I leave her chair. To anyone (and especially redheads or those looking to transition to red hair) looking for a talented, kind, and attentive hair stylist, I cannot recommend Erin enough. And on a general note, Craft Collective as a whole is such a wonderful salon! They take such great care of each client that walks through their doors and have cultivated such a positive environment. I would recommend Craft Collective to anyone!

I have been seeing Michelle for over a year now and love her work, approach, and welcoming personality. Whether I came in with a very specific plan or like a lost puppy, Michelle knows how to ask questions and make suggestions that will ultimately leave you feeling & looking your best. I’ve gotten both haircuts and color (toner and lived in color) and have always been super happy with her work. She really shines when it comes to color. If you’re looking for a stylist who will both listen and help guide what’s best for you not just what’s trendy, then look no further. Overall the space is also gorgeous and the all the staff are kind and welcoming. It’s worth the cost, ultimately you’re investing in you!

Love this place. I’m so obsessed with the color and cut Liz did for me on Saturday!! I hadn’t gotten my hair professionally cut or colored in four years so I was extremely nervous, especially coming from another state. But Liz was truly incredible. She is so nice, fun, reassuring and very helpful. She gave me all kinds of tips and catered to my every need/ desire and I’ll most definitely be going back to her!

Mick is a GOD SEND! I came to him a few years back with severely damaged bleach blonde hair from previous stylist and he help resurrect it to a healthy beautiful blonde! This took time and patience for new hair growth as my hair was previously *so damaged* but Mic brought it back to life. I will NEVER go anywhere ELSE!! Mic is the MVP in all of Colorado.
