I see Jess Mitsch for my hair and i have never felt so comfortable with someone. I trust her with every step of the process and have never received so many great compliments on my hair. The color she does and the haircuts are absolutely perfect. Not only does she do great hair she is great to talk to as well. Cannot recommend enough!

I’ve been using Craft Collective Salon for my hair services since 2023. Both locations are so unique and fun to be in. They’re clean and have so many great amenities and the employees are all such a delight when I come in. I’ve been seeing Kayla Quinn specifically at this salon since she started there, as she has been my hairstylist in Pittsburgh for two years now. Kayla is always in such a good mood, ready to chat and just full of joy and pride for what she does. It’s like magic to me! I dye my hair red and she really knows and understands my hair, how it holds color and how to get it to change ever so slightly with the seasons. I always leave with something fun and exciting!

I have been seeing Kayla with the Craft Collective for about 3 years now! I met Kayla at her last salon and followed her to Craft Collective. I absolutely adore Kayla & Craft Collective! It is such a cool salon- so trendy and inviting! Kayla has always been able to just get it right with my hair. She is consistent with her work and very good at what she does! I am so thankful I stumbled into her and even more thankful I have followed her here!

I’ve gone to Kayla twice now and she absolutely rocks!! I went in with boxed dyed pink hair and she completely saved my hair. She got rid of the color and helped bring my hair back to its healthy self :)she is so efficient and probably the best hair dying experience I’ve ever had. The color is amazing and I get compliments on my hair color so often!!! Definitely go here and ask for Kayla !!

My first appointment here and I loved it. Delilah was fabulous. In addition to color and cut, she is a champion at giving a strong shampoo scrub, which reminded me of shampoos my mom did decades ago at her salon. Let’s talk about decor. So much to look at….upcycled dressers as stylist stations, old photos in old frames for wall display, so creative. I had no idea that the owner Derek Piekarski was so well-known/regarded. I have driven by many times, so disappointed it wasn’t a craft supply store! Very satisfied and will recommend to friends and family. P.S. I am not a relative😊

Was in town for a wedding and needed a place to get a blow out - the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and I felt very comfortable and well taken care of.

My stylist Delilah is professional and fun! She listens to my requests, and asks questions to make sure we are on the same page. She is an expert at colors and always does a fabulous job!

Craft Collective was able to get me scheduled quick as a new client. Jess was my hairdresser and she did a cut and bright blonde all over color with a root smudge. It turned out AMAZING and I was in the chair half the time that I usually am (I have really thick hair). Everyone was super friendly and professional and you can tell how much pride the staff takes in their work. HIGHLY recommend!!

I moved to the North Hills from Columbus, Ohio and happily have found Billy! I have very curly hair and it has always been a challenge to find a stylist who knows the unique method of cutting culy hair. I would recommend him HIGHLY as both a stylist and a colorist.

I never give 5 stars but this place is above. I am very picky about my hair but Delilah did the most AMAZING job. I love my hair and the salon is very nice and fyi there is more parking than just front of the building.

In Kim we trust!! Where do I even begin, I absolutely love this salon. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly people and Kim is an awesome stylist. Kelly K also has assisted Kim in the past for my services and she is also fabulous. I would give this salon 10 stars if I could. The quality and people are unmatched, I am so lucky to have found this salon. You will not be disappointed if you give this one a try!

Absolutely love this salon. Jess has been doing my hair for years now and it is amazing everytime. I was nervous to go back blonde but no matter how long I have to go between appointments my hair growth always blends and looks great. Highly recommend!

Derek did my cut and it has to be about the best cut I have had probably ever. My hair is fine and blonde and usually just limp. But my new cut brought life back and I love it. I will be back for sure. Now my sister is going.

I followed my hairstylist Jess Mitsch from her previous salon and will follow her to the ends of the Earth. I only see her every 8-10 weeks for a cut but I absolutely adore her and trust her with my hair unwaveringly. Every time I see her she nails my cut and style, all while giving me advice on hair care and life in general. Jess is the reason I came to Craft Collective and from the first visit I could tell how awesome of a salon it is. It’s laid back, super cool vibes, amazing people, and not to mention super easy to get to as it’s right on Babcock Blvd. 10/10 would recommend and I do whenever I hear someone looking for a new salon. And no, this is not sponsored, but it’s really hard to find a stylist that you love so when I did, I had to share my praises. 🫶🏻

I had such a great experience. Logan did a really thorough consult with me and showed me the price before we even started, which was really cool—usually you don’t get that! The space is SO cool, which is huge when you’re spending 2-5 hours somewhere! Comfortable space? and my hair looks beautiful. 😊

I went to see Sarah who was an absolute gem to have work on my hair. This was my first time at this salon and Sarah was so kind and patient while painting highlights and lowlights in my hair. She even introduced me to the owner who is also very kind. Sarah trimmed up the bad cut I had also, I asked for just a spruce up since my last cut at another salon was abysmal. I didn’t fully realize the extent of the trim until I washed my hair a few days later. I can’t remember the last time I felt like a hair cut blew me away. I was so busy chatting with her I didn’t even realize what she did so imagine my surprise when I blow dry my hair and it lays PERFECTLY. She didn’t even charge me for it. Of course the balayage and color are stunning as well of course but I just wanted to give credit where credit is due. I will absolutely be back to Craft Collective to get my hair done and explore their other services as well.

Kayla is AMAZING. I came to her when my hair was damaged and a color I hated. I am naturally a dirty blonde and dyed my hair black, wanted to go back to blonde and no other stylist gave me hope about it working out and getting back to the color I wanted. Within a few appointments Kayla got my hair back to a color i’m in love with, gave me advice on what products to use which helped my hair stay healthy in between appointments, she is just the BEST. I would recommend her and this salon 10/10

Nestled in a suburb, very convenient to Pittsburgh, you’re in for a pleasant surprise! As you walk through the door, you’re greeted by the friendly staff in a very inviting and comfortable lounge area. They have an assortment of coffee and treats for a quick pick me up, so sit back and relax for a few moments. When you enter the main salon area, each stylist has a dedicated and unique space. The walls are adorned with stunning paintings, photos and vintage beauty. Each time I’ve been there, I’ve seen the stylists work magic on every type of hair. Lui does my hair, and he definitely is one of the best not only for this area, but the country. The salon has a very artistic, and comfortable vibe. THIS is the best salon in the area vs some of the overhyped and outrageously priced places in the city. You’ll feel and see the difference, and others will notice. Definitely a five star experience.

This location is easy to get to, has great parking, and everyone is so friendly and kind! I've been seeing Jess for almost 3 years and she is simply the best. Jess always listens and has the best advice for my needs. She is also always willing to change the color of my hair and do it with such care. 10/10 recommend Craft Collective and Jess if you're looking for a welcoming and friendly salon!

Until I found Greta & Derek at Craft Collective Salon (via instagram), hair appointments were always something I wanted to love, but honestly gave me anxiety. I’m a long haired brunette & have been striving to achieve that naturally highlighted look my hair used to have as a kid *without* ending up with obvious “blonde” streaks in my hair. Greta is the first stylist…ever…to actually listen to me, explain options, & then make it happen! She created an “expensive brunette” look with dimension & shine without glaring highlight streaks. Toward the end before my next apt it does naturally lighten up, but I even enjoy that look on myself now. No great hair pics to show right after an appointment, but you get the idea. Derek is a master at cuts. He trims & shapes up my hair with ease, adding great movement, understanding my texture & volume to make recommendations on what will work on not work when I ask about trendy styles or bangs, & if he doesn’t think much needs to be taken off (I’m growing it out) he’ll just dust the ends no problem. Greta & Derek are also both just super cool & chill. Ever since that first appointment, going back has been so fun! Thank you! PS The salon itself is also decorated with cool antiques & I love the overall vibe. Rachel does my brows here too & she’s also amazing! Great results& so fun to talk with.

We booked Craft Collective Salon Group for our Hair and Makeup on our wedding day. Their team was collaborative, communcative, and flexible from our initial conversations through our wedding day. They made everyone in the bridal party feel comfortable and ensured they were happy with their hair makeup without adding any stress. They also treated our nieces as young adults and helped to make our day all the more special. Their rates are very reasonable for the level of service you receive. We will recommend them to everyone in the future!

i have gone to amanda for a year now and she has done everything from brightening my red head color, to adding fun bright pops of purple and blue, to walking me through my first time of ever having hair extensions. she is so amazing to spend time with and really listens to what i want done. i love that she’s constantly taking classes and continuing education to stay up to date on hair styles and how to be prepared for whatever her clients need. the salon is always so so clean and everyone that works there is so friendly too! attaching a photo from my headshots to show how amazing my hair truly looked thanks to amanda!
