I took my daughter to do her hair and the woman who did it seemed like she didn't want to. It came out lopsided uneven and not what you would think a professional would do. I wont be taking her back again. She disappeared after doing it so I couldn't even get her to fix it. Such a waste of money I'm really upset. Worst salon in Brooklyn

Friendly staff, clean & spacey atmosphere. Noami was my esthetician. This was my 1st time tinting my brows & she did a great job. Suzette was my stylist. She was very gentle & efficient. This is the 1st ever I've had locs done & my head doesn't hurt. I will be coming back. Overall I had a pleasant visit

I have been going here for the last 10 years or so. And I have always loved the establishment. Disclaimer I have had my locs my whole life, so about 24:25 years. I always thought they were, gentle and tender until I went to change the color of my hair from red to a light brown color. The girl who normally always does my hair told me that she could not strip the color out of my hair but instead bleached the red out of my hair. My hair is now so damaged and has been pink since april. I have lost locs my hair is thinning and it is very heartbreaking to me that I barely got an apology or any type of understanding as to why I am so hurt. Unfortunately, the trust has been broken and it makes me so sad because there are so many good people in there.

I've been getting my locs done here since 2010 and I can honestly say it is one of the best places to go to affordable and the staff really takes their time and doesn't rush and the styles come out amazing

2.5 is my overall rating. I called ahead and although I was slightly late (attributed to the walking distance from the letter trains) I was given a service in a timely fashion. ✅ I was then given a wash which was uncomfortable at first. I told the stylist she is too rough with my hair. She worked gently after that. Once I was at the style stage, she was rough once more with my hair.🚩 She was using a very fine tooth comb to detangle damp 4B/4C hair. 🙄 That caused tension and hair pulling on my scalp. 🚩 I also noticed the coils I got were inconsistent. Some were coiled uniformly and others were bulging at different parts of the lock.🚩 I came home to discover some strands of hair were sliding out of the loc coil.🚩 The price point is decent for the service ✅ but I don’t want to be in pain while getting a service. I also don’t want to repeat myself about the discomfort I feel. 🚩

Great place for locs.. great atmosphere, Fabiola is my personal Stylist. She never fails to give me a great wash and retwist. Also her and the other ladies styling of your hair is on point.

I loveeeee Megan!!!! She’s talented, actually cares about your hair and is honest. At first, she would ask me what style but now I trust her because the styles are always sooooo cute and manageable for my schedule.

It is an enjoyable experience. They treat your hair like it is “family”. They shampoo and you feel like it is an outer body experience. I totally appreciate their professionalism and their pleasant attitudes. I would recommend them to people with any hair texture.

Workers are not very friendly. That lady name Magen will f........ your locs up then will locs pulling them until they became weak in alot of them.
