Kayla took care of my mom who had just lost her husband. My mom is also so picky when it comes to her hair. Kayla knocked it out of the park with her attention to detail, meticulousnous, and kindness. Her kindness and getting my mom in so quickly and just being so understanding of the situation during a stylist craziest times of year... Kayla, thank you so much and Merry Christmas!

I am a long time customer, but this salon now requires their clients to leave a credit card on file. If you cancel your appointment within 2 business days, they charge you the full amount of what you booked your appointment for. I’ve never canceled or been a no-show at this salon over the many years of being a customer, but what if I need to cancel for some reason? What if myself or my kids get sick or I have some other emergency and just can’t make it that day? I asked this question over the phone, and the gal’s response was “our girls have to make a living.” Of course they do, but the rest of us are living life too, and sometimes things come up that require us to cancel an appointment. I can’t pay $250 because I need to cancel a hair appointment. This policy gives me too much anxiety about booking an appointment here. I’m now looking for a new salon.

I used to love going here. But now they insist on keeping my credit card information on their computer just to make an appointment so if you’re a no-show, they must charge you something on your credit card. I do not want my credit card stored on their computer so I will no longer be a customer. It’s unfortunate that it has to be this way. I personally have never been late or missed an appointment, but I have to suffer as a good cons because of their inside policies. You just lost me as a customer.

My appointment was for 2pm, I was in the chair at 2:20. I was scheduled for a color and highlight touchup and haircut, the only thing there was time for was a haircut and that still took an hour. Not a good first impression.

I'm not a gal that frequents hair salons! Every year we go on vacation and before we go I like to get "girlied" up a little. I treated my self to a shellac manicure and a haircut/style. Both of the ladies that took care of me were fantastic customer service people and they both gave me more hope for us all! Sarah, did my nails, and Sophia did my hair. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of both services. I'll be back!

My bridal party and I came here for my wedding and they did not disappoint! I had 12 gals getting their hair and/or makeup done and we were done in 2 hours!! They were timely, efficient with a large group, did an amazing job, and were super easy to work with. They even had a coffee bar ready for us, dishes we could use for food, champagne flutes, and a room for all of us to hangout in while we were waiting for our services. I had Amber as my stylist and she was so kind, open to hear what I wanted for my hair, and she made sure I absolutely loved my wedding hair before I left the chair. I would highly recommend Creative Hair Design for wedding parties and wedding hair!

This place is absolutely fantastic! All of the staff are wonderful and you can tell they enjoy working here. My massage was just what I needed on the day I was there.

I had the absolute best experience here this week! My team at work gifted me the Grande Spa Experience, which was a 5 hour spa package including a steam bath, massage, facial, lunch, and nails. Every member of the team I interacted with was phenomenal and kind. This was my first time doing anything like this, and everyone helped guide me through what each service entailed and how to navigate between each one scheduled during my visit. The facility was huge and very clean and well kept. The owner talked to me for awhile to check in on my day as well and I was so impressed by the way he runs his business and the customer service he ensures is provided! I was able to try their new Himalayan Salt Room as well...that was so relaxing! I will absolutely be recommending this place to others and be returning myself!

Absolutely love this salon. They have highly trained and experienced professionals taking care of your spa needs head to toe. Highly recommend a massage or facial or anything really from this salon & spa. Best in Omaha for a reason!

Alexis has been doing my hair for over ten years. CHD is a family oriented salon with many designer styists on staff. Definitely the best of Omaha.

I booked CHD for wedding hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party. They made the experience so special and stress free. The stylists listened to what everyone wanted and delivered perfectly. I would recommend CHD for special events, as well as regular hair cut/coloring, spa services, etc. I got so many compliments on my hair, Amber is the best! :)

I called last minute on a Friday before a work event and they were able to get me in within the hour (yay for cancellations, worked out for me) I had the sweetest lady Jackie for a haircut. Washed, massaged, conditioned my hair and styled it perfectly. Then I went for my eyebrow wax.. this is where things get interesting. Let me back up and say I did ask pricing when I called. Lady on the phone said between $55-70 for a haircut depending on the stylist and my hair, I ended up paying $55. She struggled to find the pricing for eyebrows but said $18 for eyebrow wax. Ok that’s fine. No…. The eyebrow wax lady said it was $27! She said she would comp me the $9 though so that’s sweet. I didn’t know they did tinting too so I asked for that. I should have asked how much it was before she started because it was $37 ADDITIONAL. Now this is a really nice salon and spa, the lady was SO SWEET, but…. $64 for eyebrow wax and tint is WILD. It was more than my haircut. Well it would have been if I didn’t get comped the $9. I’ll go back for my hair and maybe try other services there if the price is right. Overall it was a good experience and lesson learned for me to double check pricing before I get something done.

I received a gift certificate for a massage for Father's Day. I got the mega massage, which includes a steam, shower, and a 60-minute massage. It was an amazing experience.

I recently came in with a bridal party, for my first time doing airbrush makeup. I got Paige, and she was wonderful! She is so experienced, kind, and asked me about how I usually do my own makeup. The airbrush didn’t budge until I washed it off the next day. 10/10 recommend!

I'm here to share and review my experience when going to Creative Hair Design for my wedding day styling. Backtrack to four weeks earlier... I had an appointment for a test run on my wedding style, and at that point, already had my appointment scheduled for the day of my wedding. The test run went very well, and I felt good about coming back a month later to re-create the same style in less time, to get me on my way to the next step of preparation for my big day! My stylist also said she was going to spend some time between the test run and the actual day practicing on her mannequin at home to perfect the technique of my style so she could get me in and out quickly on the actual day. Fast forward to THE DAY... I show up at what I was told was my schedule time with the same stylist, only to find out that the stylist who did my test run wasn't even in that day, and the stylist they had me scheduled with wouldn't be able to get me in for at least another half hour, and they didn't even have me down in the system for a wedding style. CUE THE PANIC. In other words, I obviously started to freak out. At this point I didn't have any other choice but to wait for my appointment with Jackie, the stylist they had me down to be styled by. While waiting quite impatiently and frantically texting my mom and others involved with the wedding, I encountered John, the big cheese, or one of the big cheeses, at Creative (at my mom's suggestion, who goes to Creative for multiple services) and expressed my concerns. John got right to work to find out what happened with the scheduling and to offer me some reassurance about getting in very soon with Jackie. Jackie, although unprepared to do a wedding style for me, was excellent to work with. I showed her pictures from the test run and explained what was previously worked out and she was able to put together a very similar and beautiful style. Because she wasn't expecting all of that, it took a bit longer than I had planned on being there, but she did a fantastic job. I also learned while she was styling me that John went ahead and covered the cost of the style because of the scheduling error - thank you so much, again, John, for taking care of that! I gave Jackie a big hug on the way out and highly recommend her and Creative Hair Design for your wedding style!

Went for a full leg wax at CHD several weeks ago...it was awesome service. I had the pleasure of meeting Emily, one of the estheticians that works there...It has been nearly 14 years since I went to CHD. I use to go there for my waxing, and hair services. It is still the busy customer friendly salon I remember. I would like to thank her for making me feel so at ease while doing my leg wax...she was awesome. When my husband died 14 years ago, I became so busy, I stopped doing the pampering I did for myself and thus stopped going there. I would highly recommend this customer focused business.

Went for a special date day and left convinced we wasted our money. Two stars because the facility is nice and has decent amenities but the staff are snobbish and have no interest in ensuring your needs were met. Never once were we asked how it was. Massage was lacking, it felt like a skin exfoliation not a massage. Despite asking for strong pressure. Both of us left deeply disappointed.
