The store itself is nice and professional my issue is with a loctician who has been doing my wife's hair for around 2 years helping with reattachment and strengthening. There has been no improvement from the start along with pricing getting more and more ridiculous for the level of service received. Each session would be easily upwards of $200-300 with a tip on top. After every session with her my wife wouldn't be as happy or confident with her hair, and she would immediately have dandruff within a day of service. The loctician would hide her shoddy work within the hairstyle, to where it would not be noticeable until it was taken down. I have witnessed sent photos and texts showing the hair falling apart or unraveling in which the response is confusion or insinuation that the hair is being tampered with. My wife has had locs for a very long time and is very diligent when maintaining her hair between appointments, leaving her hair wrapped, no crazy scratching, satin pillowcase so to elude to her messing up the reconstruction is crazy. For every loc that fell out my baby was charged to have them reattached and she still tipped on top of that, tbh she's too nice but I'm not. Like why would she pay thousands over the course of two years to rip or cut them out, wasting money and then going around feeling discouraged. This stylist has made jokes about my baby's hair saying that her hair oil "ain't giving" since she would get such bad dandruff with the products being used in the shop, only for the concoction she provided to smell bad, leave her with even worse dandruff, and feeling further discomfort. The stylist is also extremely unprofessional talking about clients seconds after they left the shop. I finally talked my wife into finding a different loctician and since switching, my baby has been smiling so brightly and has regained her confidence. There haven't been any dandruff, or unraveling plus it's been a lot less hostile, they have strengthened her hair in a few short sessions for less and used product that don't react negatively in her hair. Also none of her locs have slipped out. So if you're considering this shop please be weary.

Today was the first time I visited this shop and baby let me tell you!!!!!!! The service is Amazing very clean, friendly and professional environment the staff (Very welcoming and friendly) I walked in feeling embarrassed and ugly walked out BEAUTIFUL YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED ESPECIALLY IF YOU NEED LOC REPAIR AND THE PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE

Tamika and her staff are truly a blessing. I take my son to get his locs maintenanced here. They do NOT miss! His locs are extremely healthy and well kept. They are flexible with his schedule and attentive to his desired styles. Not only do they maintain his hair, they uplift him while he is in their chair and motivate him to continue doing well in school. His confidence when he walks out of there is UNMATCHED! I love it here and so does he!

Great Experience, Tumika the Queen of Locs and the ladies took care of me. Clean, professional and fun environment. I’m very pleased with my dread install.
