I went here to get a perm about 2 years ago. I showed Crissel a picture of the kind of perm I wanted and she said she can do it. The perm looked nothing like the picture I showed her. And she still had the audacity to charge about $360 for the whole thing. My experience was uncomfortable as well since she kept recording me without my permission. I have talked to my friends about it and they said $360 for a perm is too much. After I wrote a bad review on google right after getting the perm, she called me and was very nasty (she called me “stupid” and said she knows about me, knows I “play soccer”, etc.). I remember feeling disrespected, flabbergasted, lowkey threatened. Anyways, I deleted my original google review because she said she’ll give me a free perm. I went with my friend (brought her for emotional support) to get the second perm and it still looked nothing like the picture I showed her. My experience here was horrible, so much that I never forgot about it. I decided to write a review now after two year cause I kept getting Black Friday emails and remembered my whole experience. Edit: made the post shorter and I included some of the stuff she said to me on the phone.

Absolutely amazing!! They were all wonderful, and I came in with a vision and she made it a reality. I thought I was coming in for a quick haircut and that would be that, but I realized half way through I would be coming back for as long as I could. Hands down the best haircut I have ever received.

Been going to this salon for a couple years I will never go anywhere else!! I had tried so many other stylists but they never seemed to execute the vision I had in mind. But Crissel always manages to give me exactly what I want and I’m always blown away by the results! Not only is she super friendly and fun to talk to, shes also great at personalizing your desired look for your hair type. Always gives me the best recommendations for hair products and hair styles. Never letting anyone else touch my hair again!

I see Daphne for cut and color. She is an amazing stylist - one of only two in my lifetime who has truly listened and given me what I asked for! Daphne is a color wizard! She is so talented and detailed, even when I asked for something relatively complex (highlights with peekaboo color underneath). I was over the moon with my result. I would highly recommend her!

It’s been about 3 weeks since I went to Crissel’s for the first time. I made an appointment and although it was busy, I walked in and the staff was kind upon entering. Crissel looked at the inspiration photos I had and talked me through the entire process since I was going to get balayage done and was trying a new haircut. Crissel was very attentive, patient and kind throughout this process and did everything I wanted. She also made the time fly with her ability to hold your attention and check-in with you through out the process which I appreciated. I would definitely go back. And if you’re nervous I recommend trying it out. I will say after 3 weeks of having washed and blow dried my hair since then, my hair still looks amazing.

Roseyyyyy was amazing, she took her time and made sure that the hair color i was trying to achieve was the right tone/brightness/darkness i wanted and if i wanted to make any adjustments. And the hair cut on point. Thank you so much, will definitely come back.

I loved this place! I booked a last minute appointment with Susie and couldn't be happier 🥰 She was sweet, professional and patient... And the end result was beyond my expectations. I definitely will be back, and encourage you to do the same. 10/10

Bought a Groupon and took a chance on this salon because it is close to my house. I am glad I did! Susie saw me right away and gave me exactly the cut I wanted, topped with a beautiful blowout. A lovely neighborhood salon!

I’ve been going to Daphne for years to get my hair done. She is always super flexible with my ideas for different hairstyles, dyes, etc. Always walks me through her process step by step, makes me feel very comfortable, and is a great communicator. I always get the perfect cut from Daphne. Daphne also recently started to cut my girlfriends hair as well and she loves it! There is no one I would trust more than Daphne with my hair.

Crissel gave my 6 year old son the best haircut he’s ever had! So happy to finally have found a good stylist for my kids. She really cares about giving an high level of service to her customers and paid attention to detail. She’s very kind and listens to exactly what you want. We highly recommend her!

Crissel has fixed my horrible highlights and shifted me to a lived-in balayage. Her expertise around all things hair is superb! I was concerned about breakage that I'm experiencing and she was analyzed and addressed why it was happening and adjusted her approach to account for it. I had such an amazing experience with Susie! She completely transformed my haircut to a shaggy cut, which I’ve never tried before. She comforted me through the cut and reassured me that different isn’t always bad. I LOVE the results and I got compliments on the style within not even ten minutes of me leaving the salon. I will be back and booking with her again. My partner also got a curly cut with the owner Crissel, and she completely transformed her curls. She brought life and volume back to curls that were damaged and was so kind to her. 10/10 salon overall.

Me and my 6 year old daughter went yesterday for hair cuts and some curls the people working here are so nice ☺️ I really liked the girl who did my hair she was nice and at some point my daughter was falling asleep 😴 and she said if I wanted to help hold her head up which was really nice and my daughter loved her hair she's very shy when meeting new people but she was very happy with her hair ☺️💜 I would totally recommend this place !!

Very professional. Warm welcoming vibes. My hairstylist cut my hair perfectly. Great fluffy layers with a little bit of bang action. She had curly hair as well which made me feel more comfortable. She even styled my curls afterwards. Very kind people. Prices are reasonable as well. 10’s across the board!
