I had been growing out my hair from a pixie cut for over a year, and once it reached my collarbones, I was ready for a proper haircut. After researching salons in Greensboro, I decided on Crop and booked a consultation with Hunter. She was friendly and personable, and I felt confident moving forward after showing her photos of textured, layered hairstyles similar to what I wanted. However, the final result was disappointing. I was hoping for a messy, shaggy style with bangs but left with a sleek, coconut-like cut. The appointment went smoothly until the end when I felt rushed. I wasn’t shown how to style my cut, wasn’t recommended any products to maintain it, and barely had a chance to look in the mirror before paying $100 and being sent on my way. I had higher expectations—hoping to leave with a style I loved, a clear understanding of how to maintain it, and the right products to help. While my hair looks healthier, I’m now struggling to style it and miss some of the length I had before.

Love Crop! What a beautiful salon! Love the atmosphere and warm welcome by everyone! Nadya is Absolutely Fabulous! I have baby fine, straight hair. Nadya always delivers beautiful color and amazing cuts that look fantastic even without any styling. I mostly like to vary a short bob haircut. She layers my hair perfectly and suggest the right products to give body and volume making it super easy if I want to blow dry or air dry. Plus she’s a sweetheart. Thank you Nadya!

I have been going to Crop for close to a year now. Kate has been doing an awesome job with my cut and highlights. I have thick fine hair and I know it is a lot of work. I appreciate the time she takes to get the color and cut right. My hair has never been healthier with ongoing highlights. The compliments from my friends and family are the icing on the cake. Nadya is gentle and detailed with my hair cuts. It’s always a relaxing experience. Her coloring skills give me the natural color without the fried ends!

Could have gotten the same cut and color at Great Clips for cheaper. I asked for a cut and some dimension to my brunette hair. Walked away with something akin to an uneven bowl cut and chunky 90s blonde highlights.

Being new in town with curly hair is always a terrifying prospect, so I did what I always do when I am new in town - any time I saw a curly with a great style, I weirded them out by running up and asking who did their hair. That's how I wound up in Kim's chair at Crop. I went with a selection of collected photos. We looked at them together and I pointed out what I liked about each one, and I left with exactly the hair I had envisioned when I went in, every curl perfectly defined and easy for me to care for without a lot of fuss because I am not one for more than a diffuser and some curl cream. And it passed the true test: I woke up the next day and was able to duplicate the look I left with 😂 This is one of the best cuts I have ever had and I am sworn to her for life. Oh, and the salon itself is really beautiful and there is free coffee and hot chocolate.

I will never be coming to this salon and do not recommend! No reminder text or email about my appointment. I did not have my phone at all on the day of the appointment and had no idea I was missing it. I was charged the full price of the appointment when I wasn’t seen at all due to their “policy”. I understand charging a deposit and then taking that but you guys took $200 from me right before Christmas. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I can’t afford that to just be taken for no reason…I have 3 small kids. Very upsetting.

Love this salon and my stylist Kim is exceptional—I get the fade AND the scissor cut I need on top for my curls! Highly recommend this salon if you’re anywhere even near Greensboro (or can get here!!).
