I'm a Native American/Native Hawaiian woman, so my hair is long and thick. I came here to get my hair rinsed (a temporary dark hair color). The color came out decently, which is the only reason I gave them this many stars. To start off, I asked for Alexis to wash, condition, color, and blow-dry my hair. During this, she barely wanted to answer my questions, when I asked about the wifi, I was told "you have to be a member to get the password". She didn't offer me to become a member, was friendly with everyone else who walked in, but acted like I wasn't even talking to her when I was. Brittany was the same way. She came over to look at my hair, turned up her nose, said 'Mm' and walked away, like she was disgusted with my hair length. I could feel the discrimination radiating off of Alexis and Brittany both from the time I walked in until the time I left. I'm glad she gave me a discount, but if I'm going to be treated like an unwanted pest, I'd rather do my own hair. I won't be coming back!! Edit: I'm going home to finish straightening my hair, because she didn't do it all the way. She rushed the whole way through and was ROUGH!! My daughter asked me numerous times if I was okay. If you're black, you'll be treated well. Otherwise, come at your own risk!!

Every time I come here, not only am I getting my hair done but I’m having great conversation and a moment to feel revived! There’s always a welcome as you walk in the door and a smile as you leave! I definitely recommend this place for all your hair and cosmetic needs!

Great environment. Radiates black excellence through the decorations and atmosphere. I love supporting black owned businesses in my community. However I was disappointed with the outcome of my Service. Booked quite expensive braids. Felt extremely rushed through the shampoo process. Was given large parts for small braids.

I was referred to Crown Heirs from a friend of mine after I expressed wanting to start my locs. The loctician there was Brittany and she did an amazing job with my coils. The entire staff gave me the confidence to actually start it and to trust the process. I’m 2 months in now and I absolutely love it.

Took my son for a loc retwist. Elisabeth did them. She was very professional and is great at what she does. Overall my son loves his hair. Everyone in this place was very welcoming. The facility was super clean.

A little pricey, but worth it. I just recently got my daughters hair braided for the first time and the hairstylist was super patient with her. Her hair came out adorable I will definitely be back to get my daughters hair done here more often. Thank you guys so much.

There are two things that truly set Crown Heirs apart from other places I have been. The first being their dedication to educating clients. They've provided invaluable insights on how to care for my hair and dreadlocks, empowering me to maintain them with confidence. The second thing that sets Crown Heirs apart is the salon itself is impeccably clean, reflecting their commitment to hygiene and professional standards. Crown Heirs creates a great balance between professionalism and a personal touch, making every visit a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Being a mixed male, I have felt a bit out of place or judged when getting my dreads taken care of at other shops. I don't feel that at all here. I recently went to this salon to get 2 strand twists, prior to booking this appointment I visited the shop and had questions about styles as this is all new to me. When I say the customer service was exemplary. Rae was my stylist she is quick, professional and done an amazing job. I had a consultation for my upcoming appointment when I say Rae, Bethany and Britney are amazing they asked me questions about my wants that I couldnt answer they gave me choices I didn't know existed. I am so pleased I found this shop and look forward to my ultimate goal of glamorous locs. Thank lovely ladies.

I started my Loc Journey with Brittney on November 19, 2023. She was extremely welcoming, reassuring, and overall a kind spirited woman. I felt immediate comfort and trusted her expertise on this journey that I had contemplated for so long. My locs are flourishing and I hope to continue to work with her on my loc journey. The salon is extremely beautiful, professional and has a plethora of merchandise that is crafted with care, hard-work and dedication. I have referred others to this business as I was once referred. Great choice, you won't regret it.

I was referred to see Britney through a coworker of my husband’s. Went in for a consultation on a new look — to install some crochet soft locs & twists. Britney was wonderful in explaining her process, and answering all my questions, alleviating any concerns I had. I couldn’t wait to book! She was ready to go bright and early for install day and worked quickly with a soft hand. I am obsessed with my locs and will be scheduling my retwist before Spring Break. The most comfortable welcoming environment. Excellent service and beautiful smiles. The owner started my lock journey for me, and it has been nothing but a great experience ever since. My son just recently locked his hair And he loves every bit of it because of them.

Went there to get my hair relaxed (root touch up) and i was shocked to see that my roots still looked the same. Not sure if their relaxer wasn’t strong enough or if the hair stylist didn’t know how to thoroughly relax thick hair. This was my first time there and my experience wasn’t good.

Wonderful experience today! Booked a silk press & trim for my 16yo daughter. She's only had this done 4 other times & this hands down was the best ever!!! The shop is warm & welcoming & the stylist are super personable. My daughter loved her hair times 10! She kept saying "Stiff where?!?" as she shook her head enjoying the beautiful bounce! We'll definitely be returning!!!
