Had a haircut and beard trim with Adrian and it was an absolutely excellent experience. From the moment I walked in he was making sure I felt welcomed and taken care of. I will definitely be going back!

ok, I think I’ve had at least 10 haircuts there, so, this is not a 1 time experience review. My biggest issue there is inconsistency among barbers, I’ve had good and really bad ones. But my last was pretty bad, I asked for a low fade and decided to remove some at the top. The guy literally grabbed a clipper and ran over my head 3 times and call it the day... needless to say my hair looks completely uneven. I think the Jesus guy is a good barber but is letting some people run the place to a point it almost feels unprofessional. Paid $60 on a bad cut that is now costing me an extra $60 to get it “fixed” before my trip.

Asked for simple trim and not too many layers. Instead got crappy hair style and ton of layers. I have been trying to fix my hair ever since.

Julio Romo and Michael Murguia are excellent Barbers. They always cut my hairs exactly how I want it. Very spot on and highly recommend for a haircut!

My husband got a fantastic haircut here right before our wedding and he looked amazing! He has very textured and naturally curly hair, and we've struggled to find a barber in town who can do a nice fade and style hair with volume and texture. We found our place and will definitely be coming back!

Barbershop is very clean and chill. The environment is welcoming every barber is unique and talented in their own way. I have had the pleasure to get my haircut twice by Omar both times he had exceeded my expectations. He pays very close attention to detail in his personal interaction with his customers. If you're looking for a chill talk and a good cut Omar is your guy.

Checked out this new location for the first time. Dope new spot, nice decor and a good vibe. Haircut was clean cut and in and out in 30 mins. Recommend getting a haircut with Jesus.

Highly skilled and intuitive Jesus has a knack for understanding what you want and balancing style with practicality. Folks travel far and wide to see him for a reason. His attention to detail is impeccable and I was pleasantly surprised he remembered me the second time I came in! LGBT friendly and treats you like family. Cares deeply about the community and serving people of color.

Best Barbershop in Portland. I've been getting my haircut by Jesus for years and I couldn't recommend him more. But really, everyone in this shop is great and will take good care of you. I've had all kinds of hair styles from shoulder-length locks to a bald fade and everywhere in between. They can handle anything. I've sent several people here over the years because I regularly get compliments and asked where I get my haircut. Do yourself a favor, go to Culture and become a regular. You won't regret it.

Culture’s 2nd location is awesome. Super clean, bright, and still retains the “Culture” brand. Again, Jesus is super accommodating and pays strictly attention to detail. So happy that they’ve opened a 2nd location. Go support small, hard-working, local business.

Jesus is a consummate professional with technical prowess to match his accommodating nature & ability to put others at ease. Our two year old rarely stops moving, yet sat in Jesus’s chair as if he was right at home. We look forward to being regular, loyal customers. The shop is gorgeous too - bright, extremely clean and obviously well cared for.
