Before I went to KC Coleman, I went a year and half without a hair cut. My hair had dead ends and to be honest it was as boring as boring gets. KC did a wonderful job. My hair is extremely flattering to my face and my confidence is higher than it’s been in a long time! I would recommend every one to go to kc. Not only does she do amazing job cutting hair but she’s easy to talk to you and has extensive knowledge about her passion.

I have gone to master stylists for textured hair and have been the hair model for different demos for large crowds reaching 500k at a time (online) so please understand when I say that when I moved to Knoxville I psychotically researched a TON of different artists in the area who specialized in curly hair. I legit read through hundreds of reviews, cross referenced social media accounts and different review platforms, looked up anything you could possibly imagine to determine the best person to touch my precious mane of hair. I am SHOOK that even though I was confident in choosing Shelby as my overall #1 best, Shelby somehow SURPASSED my expectations. My hair turned out even better than I could have possibly imagined, not to mention I’m OBSESSED w the shop and even bought a shirt because they are so funky and cool and cozy! But more importantly I am now obsessed with Shelby and want to be her bestie because she is just so authentically herself and TRULY went above and beyond with the education on how to style my specific curl type, she showed me and demonstrated on me what to do and what not to do, she also sent me a ton of links to different products she recommended and styling tips. And even sent me a list of things to do in the area because she knew I just moved here! I was shocked at the low price she charged for a shampoo/deep condition, cut and style. For the quality of work and experience she provided, the price she was asking seemed like I was robbing her lol so I ended up tipping probably 50% because of how amazing the entire experience was, especially considering my only experience w curly cuts was not even as good as Shelby even though the master stylist of an entire beauty school was my girl before Shelby and still didn’t educate me or take the time like Shelby did. 10/10 she’s your girl

I absolutely LOVE what Caye has done for my color and she gives me the cutest cut! I am used to having darker brown roots with gold/blonde highlights but my gray is coming in so fast I needed her to help me fix my root color and lighten my blonde and she’s probably my favorite hairstylist I’ve been to in years! When you’re a military wife and move, it’s not easy to find the right stylist. I’m so happy to be done w the moves now, and to have found Caye.

I walked in with only a vague description of the haircut I was looking for, I had no reference photos or anything. Aaron was my stylist and he was more than happy to take the time to show me references and walked me through the haircut using proper hairstylist terminology. The haircut I received was exactly what I was looking for, and at the end he was more than willing to make any changes if it didn’t look exactly right. Thanks Aaron, it did turn out perfect!!!

I have came to the right place to get a haircut, Aaron White gave me a professional skin-fade haircut and his styling tips that he gave me for extra volume helped me a lot after complaining to myself about my hair going flat all the time after blowdrying. I will definitely come back here to try other stylists and their services provided. Definitely deserves more than 5 stars.

I came in with the most atrocious bangs that got botched at another salon, and KC literally saved my life. She knew exactly what to do and how to save my hair. She was so kind and personable and I will be coming back to see her. I LOVE YOU KC!!!

I’m not one for reviews, but K.C. Coleman gave me literally the most beautiful haircut y’all. Absolutely blown away with the service I received, and the products they use are phenomenal. I highly recommend this stylist to ANYONE!

Kaylee Dyer has done my hair color for years. I followed her to Culture Hair Studio when she moved there a couple years ago and she’s the best ✨ The vibe at Culture is really laid back. The studio faces Gay Street and the front, sunny window is the best place to people watch. Seriously, go see Kaylee. She’s a blonding 💁🏼‍♀️specialist and is great with blondes. But Kaylee has colored me brunette, red and blonde- and every color in between and I’ve always been more than happy with my hair! I also get compliments from other friends on my color. That’s how you know you have a winner 🥇 Parking will require a meter likely. So bring a debit card. But the parking has only been an issue for me once - it was raining and I really wanted to find a close spot 🚘

I’m not one to ever write bad reviews, but I felt that this one was deserved. I went in and was super excited about going to someone that knew how to work with curly hair, but was quickly disappointed. First off, the stylist didn’t do the trim that I wanted at ALL. I can barely see a change and I emphasized what I wanted clearly. When I voiced this, they told me to just flip more hair from the back over instead of actually cutting the layers how I wanted. Then they put product on my hair and let me walk out with damp hair full of product that wasn’t styled. It was a very disappointing and expensive experience.

This is a quality salon. I loved the time spent and results highlighting my hair and camouflaging my grey spots that were worth the price I paid. The haircut was exactly what I wanted.

This was my first time at Culture Hair Studio and Aaron was my stylist. He was amazing from the start. He was extremely attentive and knew exactly what I was looking for. Tiffaney did my hair and I love it, They will for now on be my go to person. They were a very nice person and I enjoyed talking to them,they made me feel very comfortable. The business itself was very welcoming and cozy. I had great vibes from the business and everyone there. I highly recommend coming here, they are very LGBTQIA+ friendly.

Didn't bother to even blow out my hair afterwards and left it flat. I had to ask for something to volumize my hair before walking out the door. Mediocre haircut at best
