She took the time to listen to my concerns. I have very fine, frizzy, curly hair and it’s always been an insecurity of mine. Thanks to her, everyday has been a good hair day!! My curls have never looked better and the cut was brilliant. She’s a magician.

The cut I received mostly works, but I had issues with the timing of the appointment and never received a response when I reached out about problems I had with the cut. For the price of the service, I'm weighting those two factors highly, which is why I give a 2/5. The full context for my rating is below. When I arrived for appointment, I had a little under 2 hours to be in and out for a curly cut and style. The appointment slots on the booking site were listed as 1 hour so I confirmed with Alexion before we started that it was only 1 hour as this was significantly shorter than the 1.5-2 hours I've spent in the salon for curly cuts in my old city. She confirmed that this was correct so I didn't explicitly state my end time since I figured a 45 minute buffer was enough. I brought inspiration images that closely matched my texture and preferred styling. Alexion agreed that the images would work well for my hair length and should definitely be achievable. We went through the haircut and styling, which seemed to go well. I checked the time on the way to the dryer and realized we had already hit the 60 minute mark. I asked her to confirm how long I would need to dry, and she told me about 15 minutes. I was left at the dryer for closer to 30, and when she came back to check on me a second time, I let her know that I needed to leave in 15 minutes. She said she was currently cutting another client and would have me over quickly. Unfortunately, my hair was styled in a much more controlled and slicked manner than the images I brought in and not a good representation of how I usually do it myself. Due to this, I had a hard time pointing out issues during the refinement cut, which was only 10 minutes. I left quickly to make a work meeting on time. Hours later, I realized that I had never even been offered a mirror to check the back. After washing and styling my hair that evening, I could better articulate some areas of improvement. Per the instructions in the follow-up message regarding touch-up requests, I contacted Alexion at the provided e-mail address to ask if there was a time I could come in for a quick refinement. I never received a response so I tried calling the provided number several times and left two voicemails, all of which went unreturned. Since I was leaving town a week after my appointment, I eventually did the touch-ups myself at home. It has been nearly 3 weeks since my appointment and initial e-mail, and I still have not heard from Alexion. I wanted to give her a chance to make the haircut right, but I assume I'm not getting a response at this point. For the price of $200, I should have left the salon feeling amazing, but instead, I am disappointed and underwhelmed with the experience for the amount of money I spent.

I absolutely love my curly cut. Alexion tranformed my Irish hair (straight on top curly underneath) from a hot mess into the cutest curly cut, which highlights the curliest part of my hair and deemphasized the straight parts.

I went to see Alexion with my curls in a bad state. She listened to all my thoughts and concerns about my hair. We had a lovely conversation and she explained the entire process to me. By the end of the treatment and cut, my hair had completely come back to life, and it looked fantastic! She knocked it out of the park! I can't recommend this place enough for your curly needs!

If you have curly hair I highly recommend Alexion! She took my damaged curls and breathed new life into them. Bonus is she is super sweet and easy to talk to. Kind of sad I don’t need a trim for 4-6 months! If your curls need help, book an appointment with Alexion!

Love how my hair looks and a feels! I got my hair cut a months ago and it still looks as great as when it was originally cut and styled! Alexion is so kind and easy to talk with as well. My family is new to the area and I am so excited to have found someone so quickly after moving who is an expert with curly hair. If you have curly hair especially, I highly recommend coming to see Alexion.

My daughter has curly hair, so I brought her to Alexion, and I was amazed at how comprehensive her services are. She was fun and friendly, and also super knowledgeable. She really went above and beyond to make my 6 year old feel comfortable, and even put her hair in some cute braids at the end, which I didn’t realize was included. It was a great experience!

Alexion put me up right! I have white/Latina/native American 3a-3c curls. The full curly cut was worth the price she’s the first stylist I’ve ever been to that I didn’t need to go home after and style it myself.

I tried and tried to get a consultation appointment but no one would send me the video link. I phoned, emailed,and texted multiple times but no one would return my messages. I don’t think this business is open anymore.

Alexion is the only person in Kentucky I will let touch my hair. I’ve been seeing her for a year now and every time I visit she does an excellent job! She is so kind and easy to talk to! Her customer service is superb and I would recommend her to any one of my curly girl friends! The only thing is, everyone has found out how great she is, so she books up fast! You will have to plan ahead! I will be scheduling my appointments in advance from now on so I can get in her chair! 🤗
