Robert and Lisa-- thank you so much!! They did such wonderful work on my hair. I haven't had a proper haircut in a LONG time. Robert knew what to do as soon as I sat in the chair. I fully trusted him with the cutting and am leaving feeling like a spice girl! And Lisa has the most angelic hands when it came to washing, detangling and styling my hair. I was so relaxed. A true head spa day. 🥰

Curlventure is a very clean and spacious salon with highly professional staff. Robert is amazing!! He's a magician when it comes to cutting and styling curly hair. I used to keep my hair tied in a bun all the time but now, I love letting them loose.. all thanks to Robert! I keep coming back to this place and always feel very happy with the outcome :)

I'm one of those people who didn't realize that my unruly frizzy hair had wavy texture. A friend of mine recommended this salon to me after her positive experience. Mariya has taken fantastic care of me on my curly hair venture. Always providing her expertise on technique and rational to better accentuate my natural hair. The overall experience (all staff, ambiance) is wonderful. From the relaxing hair wash and scalp massage and crash course on how to best style. I highly recommend a visit if you are exploring new or better methods for curly hair care. They always offer to call with any questions or tips with hairstyling even after the visit. Walking out in disbelief of how gorgeous my hair looks and feels is also a great feeling. :) thank you for all your curl magic!

This is the first time as a curly girl I’ve been to a curly salon, and I couldn’t be happier. I went in with the most common curly hair problem, which is curls not being blended. I know it’s usually a process to resolve this and from the moment I sat down to the moment I left, she was transparent with me about not getting the desired results after one cut, I could tell we’re headed in the right direction. She also made it clear to me that my hair is not gonna look the same the way that I left the salon unless I do it the way she showed me. She gave me a step-by-step on how to achieve that style. I’m confident that after one more cut my hair will look how I’m expecting. If you see any reviews on here saying that there’s a lack of transparency/understanding it, couldn’t be more far from the truth. Anyone here who has complained they didnt get their desired results either didn’t listen or never went to the salon.

I have ALWAYS dreaded going to the salon but after finding Curlventure this year I can’t wait for my next appointment! Staff if spectacular, services are amazing, curl care is spot on, and I can avoid all the harsh unnecessary chemicals from your typical salon. Salons always took atleast 6 hours on my hair but Curlventure gets everything done in 2 hours WITH CARE. I’ve been here more than once and they never disappoint. Highly Recommend, 10/10!!!!

I have been going to Gin for over a year now and I love how she cuts my curls! She gives great tips on styling and how to keep my hair looking great in between washes. The salon has a friendly, relaxed vibe and I love the products they use. On top of that, NOT super expensive. An all around wonderful experience. I can’t believe this salon exists in Manhattan. RUN to Curlventure, don't walk!! Such a welcoming, chic, wholesome environment with amazing hospitality. Robert is a subject matter expert and all around miracle worker with all things hair. I had the worst split ends and was long overdue for some TLC. Robert took phenomenal care of my curls and I've never seen them have so much life until he put his magic touch to them. Absolutely will be coming here again, they have a life long customer from me!
