I have been coming to Cutting Edge for the last year or so. Always top notch professional service with extremely friendly people. Kristen Evans always provides me with excellent service and a great haircut. She's the best! Of course, I'm sure all the others are great too.:)

I went to this salon for over a year. Kristin Evans was my stylist. I always liked the way she did my hair, but a stylist also needs to provide customer service. Her schedule is very limited and she is often out of work. Most recently, at the beginning of May, I tried to get an appointment and was told that she was out for surgery and would not be back until June 1st. I scheduled an appointment but, unfortunately needed to reschedule. When I called to do that, on May 26th, she was there, even though I was told she would not return until June 1st. The person on the phone suggested that maybe she could come in early on May 27th and put me on hold to ask. Kristin then came to the phone and was adamant that she would not come in early. This was not my suggestion and if she is not willing to make accommodations for her customers, the salon should not make that recommendation. She was very rude and unprofessional. I have found a new stylist at another salon.

I hesitate to give one star, because on the rare occasion that they will actually cut my hair, the haircut is good and the stylist is friendly. However, the stylists would rather lounge around reading magazines and turn their nose up at walk-in business. Why the owner allows the stylists to refuse to serve walk-in Customers, when there is not an appointment at that time, is incomprehensible to me. I will not be back. Hint: put a sign up that says by appointment only, problem solved.
