I am a new customer to Dakotah Salon and my experience was beyond awesome! This is a high end salon that caters to all your needs. I went to add some color in my white hair to give it some dimension. So tired of looking like a Q-tip. Lol. I worked with Sabrina and she understood exactly what I was trying to achieve. She knocked it out of the park!! I look years younger...Would highly recommend that you run not walk to Dakotah and have Sabrina transform you. I had to travel close to and hour and would do it over and over again. Thank you Sabrina!

Five stars for my haircut by Steven. My $65 gel pedicure, however, was the worst pedicure I have ever had. It was very sloppy.

I am a new customer at Dakotah, having followed my trusted hair stylist Steven. When I walked in (early) for my first appointment, I was greeted with a smile and immediately placed into the capable hands of Sabrina, a warm and wonderful assistant who took my coat, brought me tea and settled me into the seat at Steven’s station. Dakotah is a lovely salon, very bright and clean, friendly and comfortable. Sabrina was terrific. She washed my hair and massaged my shoulders. It was very relaxing. Steven is a genius. He has cut my hair for 25+ years and colored/glazed it for 10 years. I’ve worn my hair really short, chin length, shoulder length and long. I trust Steven completely with my curly hair and always leave looking and feeling wonderful.

Garry is the best hairdresser I've ever been to, whether on Long Island or in Manhattan. He gave both me and my daughter haircuts, and we received so many compliments. This guy is amazing—I highly recommend him!

I was so happy with my experience here! I was getting my makeup done with Anne Demarco and the lovely woman Charlotte at the front desk was more than accommodating and was able to help me book a last minute hair cut and color appointment with Randee and Ilene. They were both wonderful and made me feel so comfortable. Angela who washed my hair couldnt of been nicer!

Worst salon ever. I can't believe they have so many five-star reviews. I had a terrible experience when I went there for a blowout. When I made the appointment, I specifically mentioned that I needed someone who knew how to style thick, long hair. However, they paired me with a stylist who reeked of cigarettes and positioned me in such a way that I had to face the backside of another stylist because apparently, her blow dryer's wire was too short. To make matters worse, the stylist only partially dried my hair, leaving it damp, and then proceeded to curl it with a curling iron. When I told her that my hair was still damp, she arrogantly explained to me that she has been doing hair for over 30 years. Frustrated and disappointed, I decided to leave the salon in the middle of the appointment.

We used Dakota Spa for my daughters wedding. There were 14 of us . We had all the girls hair & make up done there! Even a 3yr old. !! Every one was so happy with their hair and makeup The salon was amazing at coordinating hair and makeup times. Everyone left feeling good and looking beautiful!! The staff went beyond to make sure such an important day in my daughters life went perfectly!! Don’t hesitate going to Dakota. You will be well taken care of!! THANK YOU ,

I had my hair styled/ trimmed by Maryanne. She was great. Truly caring in making my hair perfect. My hair is very curly, very full but she cut it better than the Soho salon I've been going to for years that specializes in cutting curly hair. Not only was the result better, but the price of the haircut was a third of what I would normally pay.The salon is beautiful and welcoming and the experience relaxing and serene. I'd never go anywhere else. I'm so happy to have found this salon. A keeper 🙏

I want to thank everyone at Dakotah Salon and Spa, if you haven't been there yet , you are missing out on the most amazing salon experience of your life. Dakotah has a unique way of treating all their clinets with Star Quility, so if you want to be a star for the day Dakotah is the place to go. Dakotah only uses the highest quility hair ,makeup and nail products, not to mention the newly renovated salon, its just gorgeous. I want to thank the owners of Dakotah, they are the most giving and caring people I know in the Hair Salon Business. I didn't want to listen to my wife when she told me to come with her to her salon. This place is great! I got a fantastic haircut and a great pedicure with massage. I might be joining my wife more often to visit this place.
