if you are african american stay away! they have perm in their shampoo and they will burn your hair. they ruined my hair and it took months to grow my hair back

Daliza was very pleasant and friendly. My hair came out great. I was in town for a wedding, planned to do my hair myself but l decided at the last minute I was tooooo tired to spend 3 hours doing it! It was open on a Sunday and not too far from my Airbnb. She did an amazing job.

They did an amazing job on my hair!! I showed them a picture of the hair color I wanted and it turned out just that way! The only negative thing was that it was very expensive.

Unbeatable, level of expertise and professionalism! Highly trained and well experienced hairstylist, they can do any hair, color or haircut or style you want. My hair has never been this healthy before, and it’s bleached!!! I have work done on from three of the hairstylist, in the past. They all have done great job! Currently, Catalina has been taking care of me and she has magic hands.

After two visits I will never go back and I recommend other avoid this place. I visited 3 weeks go and got my hair dyed dark brown a deep conditioner blow out and trim. I was charged 180 bucks (grasp). My hair is just passed shoulder length. The pricing for what was done was insane but the trouble was I am nature (all my life) after the first visit my hair kept shedding and my scalp has be bothering me. I came back two weeks later for just a wash and blow out 95 bucks (insane right) but the thing is I washed my own hair today and I have absolutely NO curls. My hair is ruined. Natural girls please save yourself the heart ache. My hair is also still shedding none stop. Honestly even if they hadn’t ruined my curls I won’t go back the prices are crazy high. I was looking to be a bi-weekly client. It’s all sad and insane, sneak perm is evil.

First time ever coloring my hair. I researched and went to a few different Salons . The price they quoted was within range of all the other salons for my hair . I spoke to Daliza personally she explained exactly what needed to be done and why. The place is very clean and organized so I took the chance. I don’t regret it !!! She did a magnificent job on my hair I’ve had so many compliments and my hair is silky soft. I will be going back - and to think she is right down the road from me !! I do recommend!!! She Also supports other Small Women Business !!!

Great atmosphere... the young lady is the best at doing eyebrows. Throughout the years, I never had a person do them evenly and listen to what I'm asking for. I'm natural, yet I come out looking like I have a perm and a silk press. These ladies are the best in Virginia. It only took me 8 salons and looking electrocuted before finding them since I moved.

I have hair done by Ms. Daliza for about 8 years and it has always lasted me 3 weeks or even longer. She makes my hair look healthy and it has grown tremendously since I’ve came to her. I love getting my hair done at Daliza’s Dominican Beauty Salon!!

I wish I would have left when my gut told me too. Please save your money and find a reputable place for chemical treatments. She may be able to do Dominican blowouts but not keratin. Or she is just unskilled with hair that isn’t a familiar texture. I came in for a Brazilian blow out, the owner was late to the appointment, her assistant washed my hair and brushed my curly hair from root to ends (which is not healthy for curly hair). After she was finished the owner arrived. I asked her a few questions before I let her start. My main concern was if it was an okay treatment for my hair type and if I will keep my curl pattern, she said it will loosen a little and it would be fine and jumped straight to price, $200 & $50 for the second visit (wash and blowout which sounded unnecessary to me). Then she tells me “we only take cash” and I’m sitting there in disbelief because I now have An Afro poof (not the cute kind) and she wants me to go to the atm at the 7-11 across the street MY GUT SAID LEAVE but I had faith 😪 I came back with cash, let her do the treatment and my hair looked AMAZING.... then wash day came. My hair has been falling out non stop, my curls are sad lifeless waves and I can’t even straighten my hair because it breaks even more. I went back to her in hopes that she would try and fix it. All she said was I was supposed to come back and have her wash it and straighten it. I asked if it was a special shampoo that “neutralizes” something she put in my hair and she tells me no it regular keratin shampoo. She then says she will check my hair out. She washes and blows it out and says it’s perfectly fine and no hair came out ( which I doubt, however, I did brush a good portion out before I got there so the shedding wasn’t as extreme). Then she tells me the way to keep my hair okay is to use keratin products. My hairs unhealthy because I’m not using keratin. She said anything that has the word keratin on it is good even suave. I became really frustrated because no I’m doubting her hair knowledge because many keratin products have salts and heavy sulfates that are terrible for keratin treated hair. She started to get irritated with me and said “I’m a professional” so I backed off. She still ended up charging me another $50 and made drive to the ATM even though she screwed up my hair. I really hope no one else ever has to go though this. It’s a terrible feeling seeing your hair all over the shower, in your brush and covering the bathroom floor in one single wash day. It’s so bad my husband did research and bough me an entire Olaplex hair system (not cheap). SAVE YOUR MONEY.

If I could rate them a zero, I would. They completely ruined my daughter’s hair. She had beautiful natural curls that are ruined now. Her hair is half curly and half straight. I’m not sure if it was the high heat or if they snuck chemicals in their hair product. Whatever it was, they destroyed her hair. DON’T GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT. Your hair texture will never be the same.

Daliza is amazing!! My hair was so damaged from former damage. She has been doing treatments in my hair and now it’s growing and so healthy. I always get a wash treatment and blow dry. I leave feeling like a new person every time!

Daliza is excellent!!!! My hair always look amazing when I leave. I am natural and my blow out last a month. However, I don’t like her pricing. I think they make up the prices as she go. I started out paying $45 wash set blow. That’s what I was coated before I even had my hair done. Which was great. I first paid $65 for color. After that the prices have been fluctuating upwards for the same service that I always get. My last visit 2 months ago she charged me $95 for color. I was so shocked! I haven’t been back. I need to get my hair done but was so disappointed with the price I haven’t been back. It’s one thing if that’s the price from the start I would have no problem paying, but when the price almost double for the same service I seriously have a problem with that 😔 it saddens me because she is really good at what she does

I would not recommend getting your hair colored here I requested a ombré with a skunk part.. completely unbelievable! I have been told my hair is fried and Easter is tomorrow my holiday pictures are ruined the first is what I requested the second is what I got. Mind you the third is how I went in I was better off not getting color… 300 down the drain and a bucket of tears

Not happy at all with my hair. The lady that did my hair was nice but seemed like she didnt know what she was doing. I asked for smooth on the edges and some volume on the bottom. After rushing through my hair it looked a hot mess. My hair looked extremely messy and frizzy, like it was never done. Then she seemed shocked when I told her I didnt like it. She told me she knew what I wanted but she didnt. I ended up telling her to just straighten the whole thing because it looked horrible. Then she tells the girl to charge me $75 for a wash and set. $75 are you crazy?! Then she comes back and says no $65, first off for a wash and set and my hair is a little past my shoulders, you charge me $65. Never again will I go to that salon. Over priced and I wasnt pleased with my hair. Never again! Waste of time and money.

This salon secretly puts texturized or perm in their procedure when servicing black/Hispanic women with natural hair. I went one time and my hair was never the same. It felt great at the moment but when I washed it again, it was completely different. I’ve been natural for over 10 years and after one wash and set with rollers my hair was half straight and half natural. It’s a shame that Dominican salons do this to women that look to them for refuge. I’ll never go back.

Five years of natural hair literally down the drain. My daughter and wife asked for a wash, blowout, and straightening…two days later hair went from 4c to a 1a…DO NOT GO HERE, UNETHICAL PRACTICES!!!!
