Saw a lot of good reviews for the owner, however he was booked up. Decided to book with the new stylist, wasn't a good decision for me. In and out in 20 minutes (ish), feels like very little texture or styling was done. Tipped well, but I won't be returning. Updated: Despite what the response from the owner says, and the lack of accountability it showcases, I did in fact have an appointment on 12/8/24 and was underwhelmed by the experience. They may have 20 years of experience, but for me, it was not a good fit. Thanks!

Dallas Gents is the best place in all of Dallas to get a scissor cut. You can go to a cheap chain for someone to use clippers but it takes a master to use scissors the way that Abdul does. If you have longer hair, scissors will give you a better look every time over clippers. This is the place to come if you have longer hair or want to grow your hair out. Abdul is hands down the best stylist I have ever been to and it is worth the price every time. Great ambiance and professional service. Would rate this place higher if I could.

TODAY is the first day of the rest of my life and a brand new hairdo courtesy of Mr. Abdul and Mrs. Stacy -- (sp?) at Dallas Gents Fine Men's Salon, and from the jump they treated me with the utmost; love, kindness, dignity, courtesy and respect, throughout the process, that made me feel like a KING 👑 AND a dignified human being again! It was money beyond well spent and outstanding services rendered in a little corner professional arts building office complex at the corner of Greenville Ave. and Abrams Rd. here in North Dallas. I highly recommend them for the best haircuts and all-male grooming that money can buy! See y'all there 🤠🙏🏼❤️💪🏼👏🏼😎😇💯☘️🔥

A fabulous place!!! Gents you need to go here!!! My husband has long hair. I didn’t want to trust anyone to it. I did research for a Men’s salon and came across Dallas Gents. Stacy who is the stylists wife spent time talking to me. She answered my questions and we texted back and forth about what my husband wanted. There wasn’t availability right away but then a spot came open! I was so impressed with Abdul! I felt at such ease knowing he understood my husbands hair and what he had to work with. I was very impressed at how meticulous he was. I enjoyed watching him cut my husbands hair and the respect and relationship he had with his client and their hair. I enjoyed seeing the art in the stylist. No hair cut is just a haircut. It is part of who you are and speaks to those around you. Abdul you definitely did an amazing job and have won our (my) trust. Thank you for taking care of my husbands hair and making it a truly wonderful experience for me. It was with the drive!!! ( over an hour) Definitely recommend! Thank you Abdul and Stacy!!

Abdul is a master of his craft and his wife, Stacy, always goes above and beyond to ensure a perfect experience. I have long, almost perfectly straight hair with thin follicles. Admittedly, difficult to cut. For years, I dreaded getting my hair cut. I gave countless hair stylists a chance, but the results were consistently INCONSISTENT. I was growing accustomed to just waiting a few weeks for my hair to grow out a bit before it would look decent… until I found Abdul. My first consultation with Abdul occurred at a time where I was making a career change, so I needed a more professional look, but I still wanted to keep my hair long. I wasn’t sure what to do, so I told Abdul what I needed and left the styling decisions up to him. That was easily the best hair cut of my life and, to this day, he consistently manages my look. If you’re reading these reviews considering giving Dallas Gents a try, stop reading and schedule an appointment now! His schedule fills up quickly.

It was time for my 12 year old to have a proper haircut and we were very pleased by the haircut he received here. The hair stylist was very friendly and easy to talk to. He was able to keep my son’s length on top while cleaning up the sides and back. We now know what a real haircut can look like :) my son now prefers this salon to others he’s frequented! We will be back!

Dallas is lucky to have someone as talented as Santiago for our hair and beards. His craft and attention to detail are solid and keep me coming back with confidence. He genuinely wants me looking my best. Was also given suggestions for products and educated how to use them effectively. Relaxing atmosphere and nothing short of professional. Herbie the barber took care of me! He’s awesome and I was so glad they were able to get me in asap. I’m leaving on a trip and he really hooked me up and made me feel special; I’m very anxious about getting haircuts and he made me feel like I was a good friend of his! I can’t wait to come back and have herbie hook me up again!

Stopped in for the first time. First impressions were good, I didn't want to wait the 30 minutes so I made an appointment to come back later that afternoon. My appointment time was honored with no wait and I was offered an adult beverage. I declined, but it was a nice touch. Started off with a shampoo and hot towel, followed by a great haircut and easy conversation. Excellent service at a fair price. I will return again! Updated for 2022. Still going to Abdul for several years now and I still love it. I bring my teenage boys, they also love it. Tonight I needed a haircut before a last minute business trip so I figured I'd give the new guy Herbie a shot. He did not disappoint! Great haircut as expected and a nice conversation. Dallas Gents is a hidden gem. It's time you found it.

Worst haircut I’ve had in a long time. Guy thinned out my hair so much it doesn’t even lay flat anymore and looks like a mullet when it’s dry. Tried this place on a whim. Won’t be back.

I found Dallas Gents by chance. I used to go to a stylist at a busy/noisy salon that never quite felt like I was treating myself.
