The first cut I got from this place was great. The second cut is terrible. I asked for a blunt, straight cut at/above the shoulder. I didn't see how short the stylist cut in the back because the front was good. I have big chunks of hair cut off in the back. I have one long strand on the right side that isn't symmetrical to the left. I got a mix between a Bob and a Karen cut, which isn't a straight blunt cut. I also showed the stylist pictures. It will take about 3 cuts to even out my hair and a lot of biotin. I wish I could get my tip back.

Berenice is an AMAZING stylist and is absolutely wonderful at listening to what you, as the client, want for your hair. I have a haircut that is so easy for me to style and helps me look good fast, even on my busiest days. I love my hair and Berenice is why! Can't recommend her highly enough.

Bernice is a true master at what she does. Today was my 1st time at this salon and my 1st getting my hair cut with Bernice. She listened to me and HEARD me. I have always left a salon racing to get home to restyle my hair and so dissatisfied. Today was so different. I can’t stop looking at my hair and I feel pretty again. 🥹 thank you, Bernice!!

It's 10:22, and they are still closed. I was scheduled for 10. I received a reminder text about the appointment. I go to the site to confirm everything. CANCELED. APPOINTMENT. But they still are telling me I'm booked? No damn call either? This is very rude, inconvenient, and unprofessional. Are customers not important enough to be notified? I schedule so that I am booked. My work is very busy and I don't have time to waste. Added a screen recording to show today's date matches the reminder text I received.

Marcus had to reschedule my appt. Then he was late to THAT appointment. Never said he was sorry for either. Too rude for me. Not to mention that my haircut wasn't that great. I have found someone so much better AND cheaper.

Berenice Is amazing! I’ve been going to her for highlights and haircuts for a long time. She’s sweet, caring and truly cares about getting your hair the way you want it. I get compliments constantly! She is the best hairstylist I’ve ever had!

Bernice has been cutting my hair for last three years. I gave very sparse directions for the first haircut. She created for me, the hairstyle that worked for me. I feel that she knows how to listen and style for anyone a great look. She also cut the hair of my 100 old mother and kept her happy!

Berenice is my favorite stylist and she always gives me amazing cuts. I enjoy the vibe of this place too. I've taken to tipping way more than 18% because I always feel that great work should be rewarded. Definitely worth every penny for the way these haircuts make me feel.

Love the atmosphere, love Kevyn ! He has done a great job on my grandson’s hair. He has curly hair and using the products recommended by Kevyn have helped his hair look so much healthier. I strongly recommend them to anyone that wants their hair to look fabulous!!!!!

I am new to Albuquerque and spent hours reading reviews and finally chose this one. I had an appointment with Kevin but he had to cancel because he was feeling ill…I did not get the message as I was driving from the west side of the city and when I got there I was given the news.. I had driven 35 min to get there and was finally told that Jazmine could “ work me in” and I accepted the offer. She did a mediocre job on the haircut and didn’t even section my hair off to cut it. Granted she was very sweet but I don’t think I should have been charged $147.00 for a color and a mediocre haircut by a stylist who has only a few months on the job. Am very disappointed and my search will continue….really a waste of my money. I left her a 20% tip never the less 😊

I typically come here but I got terrible service. That was such a painful 4 hours where she didn’t talk to me disappeared for long amounts of time and never really told me what she was doing to me hair. Felt disrespectful and I just hand to leave wasn’t worth my time

Typically, I have had good experiences here; however can’t help but feel I’m being given the run around. Had braids put in last fall and the work was amazing. I’ve been trying to schedule another install and keep getting dismissed. Last phone call I was told they “just aren’t doing it anymore.” I know my braid request is simple, so to not accept the request for a simple style was very off putting.

Very unprofessional i set up an appointment to get a perm done 3 weeks in advance and i had called a week before to see if i can possibly reschedule because i had a change of work schedule but they said they didn’t have any earlier appointments so i said i would make it and i hung up, so i requested the day off work and when i got here they had took me off the system and booked someone else the guy the receptionist talked to simply lied and said i could not make it because of work and i supposedly hung up, took me an hr drive to get here for them to just say they had somebody else and they tried to reschedule and i simply said no thank you and walked out if i where you do not waste your time their !!

I got my hair cut with Kristen and absolutely love it. She also recommended some products for my thin hair to help me get some better volume. One of which I purchased from their store. My only reason for 4 stars was because of price. A haircut on their website they list as starting at $25-30 for 30 minutes (depending on the stylist). I ended up being shampooed, cut and blow dried/styled in those 30 minutes and (minus the extra product I paid for) was charged around $70. This was my first time going here so I wasn’t sure what all was included in the “haircut” and honestly figured the shampoo was probably extra but I was still surprised at check out, I wasn’t accounting for that much of a difference in price. I will be back though, I absolutely loved Kristen and my haircut. I will just make sure to ask in advance about my expected total next time so I’m not surprised at check out.

I went in for a highlights and a trim. Bernice really seemed like she knew what she was doing. When I left I tipped Bernice well. Marcus even said it looked great but I could tell he didn't really think so. Bernice highlighted the top of my head That turn out great but she messed up the bottom. I've got brown on top of my head but not on the bottom. Lóoks like she just bleached the bottom & fried it. Unhappy 😔 D. Thatcher

My new favorite salon! Dominic gave me the best shampoo I've ever had. Then Marcus did a thorough consultation. He was so personable and listened to all of my concerns, offering tips on how to proceed. Finally, I was so comfortable that I told him I trusted him and then let him do his thing. He talked to me while cutting and styling, showing me how to style my hair with the new cut. It was worth every penny. This is a fantastic salon with talented and lovely people. I will definitely go back. ❤️
