Pros: Couples Massage was ok Cons: Lack of privacy - after you change into your spa robe the room we had to wait in shared a door with the front desk. People were constantly traveling through that room, which is more of a hallway than a room. People purchasing or asking questions would just look into the room at my wife and I in nothing but robes. Most spas in my experience make an effort to separate the area, for instance after you change you don’t go back to the non spa area. To get to the pedicure sections we left the waiting room, back into the front desk and main store front … again in only robes in full view of the public … the station is in an area right off the front desk with no door for privacy, just an open area. Again, anyone coming into to ask the front desk about services or walking be the “spa” had full view of my wife and I in the spa robes. This was extremely uncomfortable for us, and we both would have stayed in our normal clothes had we known we would be walked back out to the front after changing. Lack of calming atmosphere: When we go to a spa it’s to relax in a calm, quiet relatively private space and enjoy some pampering over a few hours. We don’t mind seeing the other spa goers in robes in a “spa only” private area. But that did not exist. Because of the room placements, and tours for potentially customers being loudly walked through our “relaxation room” there was no peace and we both left frustrated and more stressed then when we arrived. Lack of Quality: This is NOT the quality of spa that the price suggests. We could have gone to our normal pedicure place, then facial place, then massage place and saved well over $1000 and gotten a much better experience including driving across town to each location. The pedicures and facials especially were underwhelming and we had purchased upgrades for additional massages like scalp and hand / arm. All of this was sub par. In the end, the gift of a couple spa day I was giving my wife after a very difficult year was an embarrassment, we felt scammed. And for us this kind of thing is a once a year if we are lucky experience. If you are in the same boat as us, do not waste your rare moment on this place. Reviewers please be honest, this is not a place to get a mani pedi, or JUST a massage. This is supposed to be a spa, which should imply a level of quality beyond what you get at your neighborhood nail salon. It’s not just about the service, which was not great, it’s also about the spa atmosphere, privacy, a calm quiet environment. And the ratings should reflect the lack of that. Unless you go to spas to walk around in public in a bath robe and nothing else while you are surrounded by fully dressed pedestrians. We will never go back.

I randomly found Dasa spa when searching for a massage while in town on vacation. My lower back hurt so bad. I thankfully ended up with Chris. He was amazing! He figured out why my back was hurting so bad and was able to get me back in alignment. I instantly felt so much better. I asked him to move back to my home town, but he declined. My loss, your gain. Go see Chris at DASA!

Just had an incredible massage with Gaya and I would highly recommend booking here! The spa itself is very tranquil and conveniently located on the riverwalk. The massage was just the perfect way to relax and get some self care while on my work trip.

45 min hot stone massage with Gaya Absolute professional. Understood my LBP (disc) and my shoulder problem (old viral infection). Dedicated caring service. Alleviated pain and provided instruction on a pathway to improvement. Also quite a luxury and fully worth it!

Albert, the owner of Dasa, was my masseuse, and he was very knowledgeable and skilled, and I felt extremely comfortable with him and the spa's atmosphere. My sisters had a similar experience, and we are thrilled that we chose this spa on our San Antonio vacation. Please ensure to take advantage of the relaxation room following the spa treatment. Had a couples massage with Olga and Amanda and they were both SO AMAZING. Amanda was very consent focused and would be such a great option for someone who isn’t as comfortable w their body being touched. Olga was strong af and really knows anatomy. There’s no bad option with either of them! The facility is also top notch and really worked with us for a good visit. You won’t regret stopping by!

Excellent spa! I booked the Make it a Double-Four Hands Massage, and it was absolutely delightful. I’ve been to many spas and have never seen this option on the menu, so I decided to give it a try. Olga and Gaya are the amazing duo that provide this service at DASA Spa. It is a lovely deep tissue and intense stretching experience! They were very meticulous and intentional in their work and even continued after my time was up so they could give me the best experience possible. Upon leaving the room I entered a lounge area where I was greeted with a spread of hot tea, champagne, blueberries, dates, and chocolates to enjoy while I continued to relax and come back to real life. I highly recommend booking an experience here, you will not regret it!

I come to San Antonio once a year for a business convention with my husband The highlight of my trip each year is doing a massage/facial at Dasa Spa. This place is so relaxing and a massage with Olga is superb !! I have never had a bad experience here and will keep coming back year after year !

Hands down - the best massage I have ever had!! Gaya was amazing!!! The perfect blend of therapy and relaxation. (I even fell asleep.). I did not realize how badly l needed a massage to relieve the pressure in my back, neck and shoulders. So appreciative to DASA Spa on the Riverwalk for accommodating us with a short notice. THANK YOU!! 90 minutes of intense bliss! Olga massaged my partner and we were both so very happy with the results!

BEST SPA EVA!!! SO accommodating ❤️ Quiet, peaceful, very knowledgeable staff! I am a review reader and when searching for a local Spa to treat my sister for her birthday, I stumbled upon this beautiful boutique spa. I wanted her to have a special experience. I called on a Friday evening and asked to be booked for the Spa Journey to Renewal which is almost all of the services and takes 4.5 hours. Let me tell you, it was the BEST 4.5 HOURS we have ever spent in our LIVES!!!! Starting from calling and speaking with Albert the owner who welcomed us with open arms and catered to our every need. We got a wonderful facial to start and then, the fun continued. We meet Gaya and Olga. Those are some of the most BLESSED AND SKILLED WOMEN I have every met!!!! Their hands, the body, their skills set if th art of massage and knowing the muscles, OMG!!!! OUTSTANDING!!!!!! We spent 3 and 1/2 hours with these ladies and we felt like QUEENS. It has been two days since my experience, and I still feel AMAZING. I was having an issue with raising my left arm above my head, my shoulder hurt so bad, but I failed to mention that during my intake. Honey, GAYA!!!! She knew and she worked my arm so well, that I have no pain in my shoulder at all. It feels amazing! Oh and the music, so subtle but if you know, you know. Had the best massage ever with Gaya, hubby had Olga. I honestly wish I lived in San Antonio so I could return more often. This was the most therapeutic massage both my husband and I have ever had. If you are staying in San Antonio book a massage here - you won't regret it! Highly skilled professionals.

I went in to check on service availability which I knew was a longshot because I was looking for a same day appointment on a Friday. I thought because I had a majority of the day free it might work though. Anyway, I went to the man at the front desk and he gave me some availability, and then immediately started asking me personal questions about my body shape and asking for details about how many children I had and what genders I had given birth to. Then he asked me where in town I was staying. It was so creepy! I got super uncomfortable and practically ran out of there. So weird to walk into what you hope will be a relaxing environment and immediately get interrogated about irrelevant details. Don’t bother getting services here!

Outstanding service! I was able to get an appointment right away. The spa totally went above and beyond to meet my needs. I had a facial with Araceli! I received a brightening facial with microdermabrasion. My skin is so smooth and clear. She was very gentle and walked me through each step. Next I received a massage from Olga! Listen here! MAKE SURE YOU BOOK OLGA! She relieved so much tension from my neck and back. Those were my focus areas. I am definitely going to book again. You should too!
