I am super picky when it comes to haircuts and Frank turned my hair from flat to fabulous! Would highly recommend to anyone. Salon was super clean and everyone was so kind. Also, have never had a pleasant experience getting my hair shampooed until today. I wasn't aware that shampoo stations could actually feel nice!!

On my last visit I asked for a full highlight. I have a lot of hair and specifically asked to have the dark pieces around the hairline and on the underneath of my hair highlighted. I did not want my hair so dark underneath in case I want to wear it up sometime. I paid $200 with the tip. David tends to do what he wants and does not always listen to what the customer wants. If I am paying good money to have my hair done I want it the way I requested. When I got home I noticed my hair was still quite dark underneath. I then called and asked if David could put a few more light pieces in the back. I assumed there was no charge for this since I already paid for a full highlight. I did not feel I should have to pay anything additional. I left and then called in a few days later to ask a question about a product and was rudely told by one of the girls that answered the phone David fired you last night and not to call back. I have NEVER been treated this way by a hair salon. There was nothing ever communicated to me. Instead of telling me what the problem was this is how I was treated. I wanted to post this to warn other potential customers about how rude these people are. BE WARE.

Maggie is the best colorist I’ve ever had. She always does a fantastic job and my hair is consistent exactly the color I want. She so friendly, too. Very easy going and remembers me and my story whenever I’m in for treatment. I love her. I see Cassidy for my hair cut. She really knows how to cut my curls. And she listens because she wants to cut it just the way I like it. My curls have never looked so cute!! She’s the best. Highly recommend, David Frank Hair Salon!

As a recent customer of David Frank Salon in Scottsdale, I find it necessary to share my experience, which was far from satisfactory. My initial visit to the salon was due to an urgent need for a haircut before an important business trip. Unfortunately, my regular hairdresser had to cancel last minute due to a personal issue, and I was reassigned to another stylist. This change resulted in a haircut that was, frankly, very poorly executed. I was about to forget about it and change salons, but my wife insisted that I inform them about my bad experience, and during her visit to the salon, which occurred two weeks after mine, she expressed my bad experience with the stylist and she promised to do a redo to fix the problem. So, I agreed to give them another shot. When I returned to the salon simply to fix the first issue, I was asked to pay for the service and got no acknowledgement of the problem or offer of a discount. This was despite the stylist acknowledging that the initial haircut was uneven. The response from the salon's owner further added to my disappointment. It misrepresented the situation by suggesting that my second visit was a regular haircut and not a correction of their previous work. Moreover, it failed to address the fact that I was charged contrary to their stated policy. This experience has been an eye-opener regarding the salon's approach to customer satisfaction and professional service. It's unfortunate that what I expected to be a straightforward service turned into a series of miscommunications and unmet expectations. As a result, I would caution others to consider how this salon handles service issues and customer care.

Cassidy and Maggie rock! They gave me a phenomenal pink pixie cut that I love so much. I have been coming here for a few years now and always leave super happy. Everybody is kind, patient, and extremely skilled. Highly recommend!

I saw David only for color he is a genius, a Master connects with you listens feels and boom he's got his plan..every time for over a year amsxing@ always looked at Frank's haircut .I couldn't beleive the ..after of the person he's so precise clean defined cuts he's amazing I only stopped since I work pt now thee only reason

Maggie did such an amazing job with my hair especially with what I was asking for I know it couldn’t have been easy! They were also able to get me in last minute which was a big ask, I couldn’t be more pleased with my hair! I will definitely be staying at this salon for future appointments.

Our family's recent experience at a hair salon in Scottsdale was disappointing. We all needed haircuts, including my kids, husband, and sister. My husband's initial appointment was with my usual hairdresser, but she had to cancel due to a personal issue. With an important business trip looming, he had no choice but to see a different hairdresser at the salon. This decision resulted in a poorly executed haircut. When I relayed my husband's dissatisfaction to my hairdresser and asked to speak to the owner, the response was to have my husband come in for a correction. To our dismay, not only was he charged for this follow-up visit, but there was no discount offered, despite their error. This meant paying twice: once for the unsatisfactory haircut and again to have it fixed. This experience has made it clear that this salon does not prioritize customer satisfaction or handle issues professionally. We have decided not to return and would advise others to consider different options where customer service is more valued.

Yesterday I was there for deep conditioning for my hair Maggie did it when she washed specifically I asked I don’t see conditioning in my hair she argued instead offer me to improve I was not happy or will do it again I was there because they have five stars, plus she didn’t clean the chair or wipes with disinfectant poor hygiene she didn’t offer water. Anyway they bribe the stars pls pls don’t get wrong with the stars.Disappointed.

David knew what I needed better than I did. :-) The front of my hair is white with a few dark streaks, and the back of my hair had gotten to be a combination of gold and very dark blonde. I thought balayage would be perfect, but he suggested partial highlights and I absolutely could not be more thrilled with the final outcome. I posted a couple of pictures, one with my dark hair and one with the finished product. It looks extremely natural and very pretty. Thank you David!

My experience here was great. Definitely one of the best, if not the best. Scheduling was easy, and they were very accommodating to my schedule. I got in much quicker than expected for something pretty involved (nearly black to blonde). Sam colored my hair and did an excellent job. It wasn't exactly what I wanted at first, which I credit to my vague explanation and lack of photos. I'm also particular. I called back and Sam touched it up, actually free of charge (again being super accommodating as far as schedule and wait time). It came out perfect. If I didn't live out of town, I would definitely always go here. Major thanks to Sam and this salon!

After a mediocre pixie haircut at another salon, I found David Frank Salon and I am very happy with the haircut. Frank did a great job delivering what I was looking for. Watching him cut my hair seemed like this was a piece of cake for him.
