Easy to book an appointment, bedside manner of the front desk and stylist was good. I want to note that I have long, thick hair and I asked for long layers all over, with face framing, and no excessive thinning. The overall experience was good and I thought the haircut was good in the moment and it looked fine with a round brush curl. However, after a few days I washed my hair and I noticed my hair had very choppy, not blended layers. I went to get a color done at another salon and my colorist at that salon even offered to correct it since it was so disconnected. At that point I had a full highlight done so I left it. I think part of the issue was the layers were cut by razor while the hair was wet and then once the hair was blown out and dry, more layers were cut into with scissors and thinning shears. Like I said overall the experience was good. I’m not one to leave reviews really but I just would be a little cautious. I wish I had asked for straight finish so I could see the choppiness in the moment.

Love the place and people. This was my first time here with Davide and it was just fab and I would say it was worth every penny spent. We spoke about a lot of things and he was very patient to listen to my concerns first and suggest the best. I went in to have a cut but looking at my hair and concerns he suggested me a treatment which my hair was dying to have. He was so kind to suggest me products and hair care tips too. Definitely a go to place from now on and love their hospitality:)

On time, professional, friendly...I've been going to this place since 2019 to color, cur, blow out my natural dirty blonde hair into a natural red head look. I even went ariel fire red before. Lisa, davide, Marissa, lydia.. love them all for my hair needs. I moved to jersey city and travel one hour to davide hair studio. That's how much I trust them with my hair

I came here since it was near where I needed to be and had positive reviews. Unfortunately my stylist who I loved has left NY. While the service and people working here were great and it was a nice experience, I am miserable with the cut. I went in with very long hair, requested a clean up, no more than an inch and a half removed, along with some light face framing, but I came out with a much shorter cut then I expected that was also razored. Razored texture does not work with my coarser wavy hair. I said this to the stylists. Of course when they styled it it seemed ok and set but coming home and looking more closely, it looks chopped up, not well blended, and a bit like a mullet with a tail which I hate. I actually said to the stylist that previous “layering” had left me looking like I had a mullet and I was afraid of that but I got that anyway. I’m really upset about it but also there’s nothing I can do but wait for it to grow out🤷🏽‍♀️ Book with caution.

I went in for a haircut with Davide and absolutely loved it! We talked about haircare and products/tools I should use to revitalize my hair and strengthen it. The haircut was exactly what I wanted and I was able to keep most of the length. Great experience overall!

I’ve been going to this salon since it’s opening and I refuse to go anywhere else. They stylist RESPECT your hair integrity. I have worked with Lisa for over 10 yrs and have done every color style under the sun and I have not lost any hair because she is thoughtful and understands the outcome. I have mixed hair / extremely think and kinky and again they respect my natural hair.

The hair stylists are AMAZING! Kelsey is my go to person and she is always there to talk to me about different options for my hair whether it is cutting it or dying it. Everyone else is also very nice and helpful. Clean salon and efficient work from each stylist who really give their whole attention to you when you are there. It’s a little expensive but I think worth it for a high quality hair cut experience

Marin is absolutely the best colorist I’ve ever worked with. She transitioned my light brown/dark blonde hair to a natural red, and it’s absolute perfection! Highly recommend her for any color work.

I visited this salon while visiting from London and it was great. I saw Marissa - she was fantastic! I think she gave me the best hair colour and cut I have ever had, people have been telling me how much they love my hair ever since.. I really trusted her, she was great. Wish she was in London so I could see her regularly! Thank you Marissa - you are fantastic at your job!! Come to London please!

Talented stylists and professional, fun team in a terrific (beautiful, zen) space (great music tracks too)! Davide is amazing and I have trusted him with my thick and difficult-to-tame hair for over 5 years. Not a day goes by that I don't get compliments about my cut - and always refer everyone here.
