I’ve been going to Belki & Maribel for years since I was a child. Where ever they go I follow lol. Always a professional experience. They are able to work with any type of hair textures. They take their time and care for your hair. I would recommend both of them.

I had a really positive experience here my first time and particularly really appreciated that there was a barber to help me with my undercut and then the hairdressers to help me with my hair. However, in my most recent visit i asked Maria to help me shorten my Face framing just a smidge and she then proceeded to give me the most back job of side bangs.. (she literally cut them directly horizontal) and i kept trying to ask her to adjust them because it was not what i was looking for at all and she seemed irritated with me and at the end snatched the cash payment? I thought i found a neighborhood gem but i will unfortunately not be coming back here any time soon.

Maria is amazing! She has been doing my hair since 2018! She dyed my hair so nice for my prom back in june. My ends were so bad and she cut them to make them look nice and my hair was still past my shoulders!! A+! this was in june 2022. She also gave me bangs in September 2021 (with my permission lol) I loved them! Maria did kind of cut them uneven though so her grade will be a B! I’ve done a straight part so much that my hair in the middle hasn’t grow really well so that’s why i have a little in the middle of my bangs

Maribell Has Been Doing My Hair For 3 Years No Matter How Many Times I Cut And Color She Always Executes It Perfectly And Make Sure I’m Comfortable Also I Can Say The Staff As A Whole Is Amazing I Love This Place I’m So Picky with My Hair But I Leave Here More Confident And Comfortable Then I Came In Won’t Regret It Seriously.

The folks at the salon are warm and friendly, i had help from ms. Belkis who gave me a trim and layers, my split ends hadn’t been cut for over 6 months. I am happy with the results, i plan to be back! La gente del salón es cálida y amigable, tengo ayuda de la señorita Belkis, me recortó y me puso capas, mis puntas no se habían cortado en más de 6 meses. Estoy feliz con los resultados, ¡planeo volver!

My hair care place in my home away from home. THIS is the place to go. They are serious about haircare. They love what they do, AND it shows. They know their stuff. Best believe if there's any issue(s) with your hair, they will let you know. But wait... It goes further, as they will tell you the best courses of action to take, if you need to come back, let's say, every 2 wks for treatments, a certain type of care to promote better hair growth for whatever reason, they'll tell you .. They are courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Reasonable price considering everything is going up, due to inflation. Value for the money, for my usual wash and deep conditioner, blow-dry and a wrap (aka Doobie) If you have your own pinchos (bobbi pins) cool! If not, it's an additional $2.00 for theirs. FYI ...They DO take cash & cards for payments. Just a heads up... You might want to come with cash, bc cards incur an additional, I believe, a small fee. NOT a huge fee, but a fee as opposed to paying with cash. (I noticed biz were doing this after Covid came.. I'm not sure why, but just letting you know) Even with the barbers on the other side of the shop... I take my grandson here for a cut, when we're in town. Geo, the barber 💈 that's our guy!! Hands down one of the nicest, professional and best barbers around. My grandson gets the best cut, precisely done as we ask. Your son or makes need a cut, Geo is the one! Overall, I highly recommend this salon, based on my own experiences of over a year visits. So much so, my daughter and sister patronize them now, as well. #AFamilyAffair

My hair was cut by Christina. Today was my first time there, I've been getting my hair cut by the same hairstylist for over 20 years. Unfortunately, she retired. Very fortunately I got to sit in Christina's chair today, and got her to cut my hair. This experience was nerve-wracking. Someone new to cut my hair, changes are never easy. However, this was the exception. I enjoyed the quality of service, professionalism and overall outcome. I got layers, she did a fantastic job cutting it. She didn't take long, and she cut my hair dry- as I asked. She takes such pride in her work, and frankly very rightly so. I am a happy customer. I hope this review is helpful for someone looking for a great salon experience.

Absolutely THE WORST experience I ever had, firstly the tried to charge me double because I am black with natural hair, what will normally be $35 to $40 they tried to charge me $50, very rude very unprofessional, she obviously didn't want to do my hair the way she was pull and tugging and splashing water all over me!! I eventually just walked out pay her to wash my hair alone and went somewhere else with better and more reasonable prices!! To my sisters please DO NOT GO HERE! The will charge you double because of your hair texture

I’ve been coming here for years. The ladies are beyond accommodating. The work they do is incredible. Christina did this color for me today. Lily does the best blow outs! When you come here you’re treated like family and leave feeling more beautiful than you could imagine.

They do not speak to customers when they walk in the door to ask what services they need or want. Me and my child who is in a wheelchair went and neither of us was acknowledged. Another customer made a comment while getting her hair done about having a appointment. I called two days before I came to the salon the woman who answered the phone told me to just walk in. I would never treat my customers this way I will not be doing service with this salon and advise others to do the same
