Giselle did a fantastic job on my hair! She listened and answered questions, she gave guidance and advice, which was really helpful. She totally could have overcharged me for a future service, and I would have paid it, but she didn’t take advantage of the situation, which really helps build trust. I look forward to working with her for a long time. The facility itself was so nice and welcoming as well!

Absolutely Amazing Haircut and Color! I couldn’t be happier with the work Giselle did on my hair! From the moment I walked in, they made me feel comfortable and confident that I was in good hands. They took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted, offered great suggestions, and absolutely nailed it. The haircut was precise and perfectly suited to my face shape, and the color—wow! It’s vibrant, rich, and exactly what I had envisioned. Giselle paid attention to every detail, blending the tones beautifully and making my hair look healthier and shinier than ever. Not only is Giselle incredibly skilled, but their professionalism and warmth make the whole experience enjoyable. I’ve received so many compliments, and I can’t wait to come back. It has been two weeks today since I got married! Connie gave me and my bridal party the privilege of getting ready and taking my bridal portraits at her salon. I truly felt so beautiful on my special day because of Connie. Her salon is stunning, a whole vibe with natural light and plenty of space, and overall aesthetically pleasing. Connie is truly a girl's girl, a gem of a friend, an artist. She is so talented and will make you feel beautiful and happy when working with you. I highly recommend visiting Connie at Death Moth Studio where she can work her magic, you can support a small business, and you can make a new friend.

BEST SALON EVER. I have been coming to Connie for years now and I have never left disappointed or feeling uneducated on how to take care of my new hair. She is absolutely amazing, extremely professional and makes you feel so comfortable and beautiful! She created the most gorgeous aesthetic salon and brings all the positive vibes. Every time, I come to the salon, I get a makeover with a venting sesh and it is so therapeutic and I leave in the best mood, feeling my best every time! I will continue recommending all my friends n family and I would definitely recommend if you are considering it! 🖤

Every single time I leave Death Moth Studio I am amazed at the customer service, education, ambiance of the salon, and conversation between stylist and customer. I always arrive feeling welcomed and feel at ease with the experience. Connie is so talented and never fails to astound me with the knowledge she has of hair and coloring. I will forever recommend this salon and will no longer go anywhere else! I literally drive into San Antonio to see her because I believe that the experience is so damn worth it! Had an appointment with Connie for a haircut & it was honestly the best hair experience I’ve ever had. My hair was very long & I was ready for something new. I needing some shaping & had always struggled to find someone who would cut my bangs the way I truly wanted. Connie was not only super friendly but she was also incredibly knowledgeable, walked me through the process, heard my concerns & listened to what I was wanting & then proceeded to execute flawlessly. I’m so obsessed with my hair & will continue to go back going forward. I always held off scheduling an appointment because I assumed I had to do some kind of coloring but that’s not true, they service all your hair needs! You can tell by walking in that the entire team at Death Moth truly love what they do & they're some of the best. Book the appointment, you won’t be disappointed!

I came to Death Moth Studio For a Botox Party!! First time Ever Walking into the Studio and the Pictures don’t Do It Justice! It’s such a Beautiful place with Great Vibes and Good Energy! Was a Little nervous but quickly Felt at Home! I definitely recommend to Anyone Looking for a new Stylist to Come Check out Death Moth studio! Connie has turned her place into a beautiful hidden Gem In Downtown San Antonio that Everyone should check out! If you’re visiting the Riverwalk or The Great Alamo, Death moth Studio should also be on the list! Grab a Coffee downstairs and Head up to the studio and Say High to the Crew at Death moth they wont disappoint! I felt like I floated out of the salon chair with an huge smile on my face and tear in my eye because I loved what Connie did with my hair. I am not up to date with style names and terminology and just had pics of what I liked. Didn’t even know if it was possible after a few failed attempts elsewhere. She was able to articulate what I liked which I have struggled to do. She tailored the cut/color to my hair and features, and offered suggestions which I’ve never had before. She is a master of her trade and takes such pride in her work. Death Moth is a gem of a studio and can’t believe it took me so long to find it but won’t go anywhere else now. Connie has thought of everything to make your time in the chair a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

This was my first time ever coming to Death Moth Studio and it was honestly one of the best salon experiences I have ever had. I had my appointment with Giselle and she did an amazing cut! She was very attentive to what I wanted and asked questions about the length and layers I had wanted. I left the salon feeling like I got exactly the style I wanted and more.
