10s 10s 10s across the board. Mikey is fabulous and just a joy! My 9 year old daughter came in to see Mikey with long, over chlorinated and limp hair. And came out with shiny, healthy, soft and bouncy hair. It was like he used a magic wand to change her hair completely!! Plus he took the time to listen to my daughters love of Barbie’s so naturally she can’t wait to see him again soon! The salon is equally as lovely filled with smiling faces and pleasant laughter. Great experience. Highly recommended!

All I can say is that Mikey is fabulous! Took this train wreck of a head of hair and made me feel cute again! He took the time to listen to my ideas and we worked together to give me a flattering look. :)

Deklynd did an amazing job with my balayage and highlights! He knew exactly what to do to get the look I wanted. The atmosphere in the salon is relaxed and fun. I will definitely be back!

I canceled with this salon. They emailed me telling me that they would not allow me in the salon without showing proof of covid vaccination. Yet other salons allow even walk ins as long as you wash hands and wear a mask. It’s unconstitutional and not mandated by the government to limit service. This made me feel very uncomfortable. They lost me as a customer and I found someone else who was able to accommodate without asking invasive questions of my health record.

I've been going to Deklynd for more years than I can remember. I love my hair -- the cut and color is always amazing. Deklynd is kind and professional. And his COVID protocols have been perfect! I have felt safe and respected. I just got a brand new cut and color and it is better than I could have imagined! My teen daughter now sees Micheal for her hair and we love him too! He does a great job with her half black and half blue hair. And we love his positive, upbeat attitude!

I’ve been going to Deklynd for over 7 years and would not go anywhere else. He is the BEST! I’ll never let anyone else color my hair. My mother even drives in from Houston to get her hair done. I’ve not yet received the vaccine as I’m breastfeeding but always feel safe and welcome in his salon. It makes me feel even better that he is checking vaccine cards to ensure the safety of my baby and me.

Great salon! Such a great team and always very professional. I always look forward to my appointments where I receive the most fantastic cut and style. Even during Covid where masks are mandatory and temperatures are checked upon entering I leave feeling like a million bucks. :-) Thank you Deklynd and Michael for making my transition to gray seamless and doing such an amazing job. Text him upon arrival and he will text you when he is ready. No touch entrance. Face masks required. Forgot yours? He has extra. Temperature check and hand sanitizer upon entrance. Individually sanitized capes are provided. Face mask plus face shield for Deklynd and his awesome team. Deco Blue was designed to provide the ultimate individual hair experience, so expect a semi private room during your time with Deklynd. If you are lucky enough to have him color your hair, you can sit outside on the front or side porch of this craftsman style house/salon, in a sanitized chair and feel comfortable whilst you wait for all those amazing colors to blend and brighten your day. The wash room allows for an individual experience as well. Again, masks and shields are in place, along with gloves and a calming, delightful, attitude. Bathrooms are clean and sanitized. Deco Blue has always offered an amazing salon experience, and during this time of uncertainty, you can feel comfortable that you will be treated with the utmost respect and attention to hair and health. Deklynd did an amazing job on my hair color and cut. The salon is welcoming and everyone there was taking health precautions seriously. My hair was a mess after not doing anything with it for six months and he completely transformed it. I really love what he did! Highly recommend.

This is the best place in town for sure. Have used this salon since it’s existence, and have been with the head owner for over 20 years. With the pandemic they are running a surgically clean environment with single customer staging. Whether a pandemic or not I highly suggest this salon

Michael did a fantastic job transforming my grown out, faded blue hair into a beautiful, multi toned red. I was so pleased with the entire process from start to finish. When I walked in, I was offered coffee and water and only sat a few moments in the comfortable waiting area. In previous experiences at other salons, I’ve waited well past my appointment time so I really appreciated the prompt service! Michael listened to my concerns and worked with me to achieve the results I wanted with my hair. Color correction usually leaves my hair feeling fragile and damaged but I left the salon with beautiful, silky red hair. Which is exactly what I wanted! I absolutely recommend Deco Blue and will be returning when it’s time for touch ups!
