This place is always busy ! That means it’s a good hair salon to go to. Went for a wash and blowout. They give you a head massage while washing and it is the best feeling.

The owner (I think?) trimmed my bangs & cut layers into my hair a few months ago and it was SUCH a fantastic experience. Generous, quick, lovely work. However I recently returned - with high hopes and expectations - and did not receive the same quality work. Another person cut my hair and I left with the opposite of what I wanted. I directed “bangs just at the top of eyebrows, hair trimmed with layers” — bro barely trimmed my bangs (they’re still literally past my eyeballs) and completely just cut straight across… got rid of all my layers… leaving my long hair looking like a dull square clump. I had to rush to a meeting and didn’t have time to ask for a correction (and frankly did not have the trust anymore.) Paid $80 and left feeling quite down. I would recommend you ask for the owner to cut your hair, and go during a less busy time. Perhaps the busyness of the day made my tech rush/get confused.

Highly recommend coming to DeCode salon to get a haircut or hair coloring done! I’ve gone to Qiu multiple times to color my hair because of his strong knowledge on balayage and hair coloring techniques - he knows what he’s doing to ensure I get the color I want while keeping my hair looking healthy. All of the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming the moment you step in!

I'd go back just for the head wash but will be back for my next haircut. Rarely does a pre-service hair wash feel like a stand alone service. Rarer, when a stylist's protective gloves do not interfere with the treatment by snacking or creating friction. That's just the open act, the haircut was exactly what I asked for. Efficient, attention to perfect angles, and incredibly efficient self-service portal to book online and just show up.

The most incredible experience at DeCode Salon, team are welcoming and professional. Me and my daughter for a perfect hair treatment with Mandy & Debbie Sandy, always give great advice and knowledge. She recommended a tailored Milbon treatment & glaze & root touch up-for color as well as for my sun dry scalp and dry hair.The results was great. I would definitely come back for my next hair appointment with Q.

Would give 0 if possible, website says 30-50 for a haircut and they charged me 50 for a terrible haircut I didn’t ask for, in my 24 years I’ve never seen a haircut this bad, nothing like the reference photo I’ve asked and I’m practically bald. Never going back.
