Forgot to post a review. Nice place. Asked for a balayage and showed the second pic of what I was thinking (a cut and dye from her IG that she did.) The first pic is me with what looks like highlights. I believe I was there for about 4-5 hours - one reason it took forever; never a good thing when your stylist says “uh oh” yeah, she made the color a little too bright and had to redo. Razor cut took a century long and Looks the same as what scissors would do. On top of the toner mess-up, let got with some pretty wet hair because there was another client waiting. I knew the price was going to be pretty steep but she could have at least gave a discount for the mess up. Will not be back. Price tag 200+ and tip. I took this photo of my hair when I got home and after I dried it. Realized I didn’t care for it. I asked a few people if they thought my hair was balayage or highlights and every person said highlights. The color was supposed to be subtle light brown not copper.

I just had my bangs trimmed by Nichole and she really respected the old cut that I had. She did an excellent job, and I love the clips she gave because they’re actually exactly what I need. I haven’t gone to the salon itself, but, I feel like I could trust Nichole with my hair any day. I love my current stylist and like to be loyal, but oh my goshhhh I know where I’d be going next if I ever had to. Thank you so much for the bangs cut. You’ve saved me!

Had my hair done by a stylists. She did a good job. I went to rebook and she no longer accepts new clients? In addition, the salon name is dreadful to type in on google, and the 3 minute questionnaire about what I do in my free time is an equally painful experience. Do yourself a favor by choosing a different salon that values your time.

Ami did my cut and was fantastic. She listened to exactly what I wanted, checked in with me as we went plus did a great job styling it at the end. Plus she was lovely to chat with. Will definitely be back!

SO happy with my experience today! It has been quite a few years since I was last at Deeda but I love the new location and I am SO happy with my stylist and her work. I came in with my thick long hair and Sarah was so excited to work on it. I came in not really knowing what I wanted but she listened to my concerns/hair goals while also providing her feedback. She was very fun to talk to and made the whole experience a blast! Happy to be back at Deeda!

Had my first cut with Marissa yesterday who was a totally calm, kind presence and turned my lame, first-ladyesque/mom pixie into something dynamic and messy enough that I feel somehow more free and dare I say hip. This pic is AFTER sleeping on it, not doing ANYTHING to it, and then biking my kid to school with a helmet on. Thanks for giving me a color and cut that works with that lifestyle! Beautiful space, kind staff, and very talented stylists… definitely found my new place.

I had my first appointment with Ami yesterday and it was perfect. She is such a great hair stylist, very friendly and easy to talk to. I was nervous going in but she definitely made it such an easy and fun experience. Definitely recommend her, she gave me exactly what I was wanting!

Literally had the best haircut of my life with Ami!! Seriously - my hair has never looked better. Ami is sooo sweet, so easy to talk to, and she really took her time with my service! Very nice neighborhood salon. My hairstylist had less expensive rates than most but did an excellent job and was very personable. Online reservation system is simple and works. The interior is clean but a bit sparse. It would be nice if they offered coffee or other drinks like many salons at the same price point, and the cool vintage space could use an interior designer’s eye.

Cannot rave enough about how much I love Marium. She does a fantastic job with the cut but the color is where she really excels. I was always hesitant to color my hair because I thought I would choose the wrong color. I let Marium choose and it looks amazing - every time. She knows what works with your skin tone. Plus she is an all around great person!

I am so disappointed with my stylist. My first appointment went well, being new to Sacramento and leaving my 20+ year stylist was hard but I was happy with my highlight and hair cut . (270.00) $175.00 for color. The second time I only had my color done and it was close to my original but not 100%. Still okay, I came back this time and explained I didn’t like the red / orange Hughes and thought Marium heard what worked and what didn’t. Ugh…. Nope. I left this time with light brown hair from blond. Nothing like the color I have had for 25 years. I was so disappointed and depressed looking at my hair that with in 2 days I asked if someone from the salon could fix my color. They were very helpful and responsive but I had to wait 5 days to get an apt. I also had to take a day off work to make this appointment happen but totally worth it. Unfortunately Marium said I would have to sign a waiver releasing her from responsibility to get my hair back to blond. She said my hair was damaged and not a lot she could do. So I went from healthy(not perfect) hair that was a color that I loved to damaged brown hair. All at a cost of $360.00. I asked why I wasn’t told a head of time of rate increase and they stated she has always charged $100.00 an hour. Just beware if you want to try a stylist here. Confirm color and cost and take before pictures. The cost to fix her mistake is one pain point but her needing me to sign a waiver of her liability is disconcerting.

I came here for a haircut since they had such good reviews. First off, I would like to say that the stylist was kind and acted in a professional manner. But unfortunately, the haircut that I paid $100 for looks more like a $30 job. Even my partner commented on the uneven haircut when I came home. 🥺 I thought to myself that with time and styling the hair will settle down a little bit, but the irregular and spotty ends are still visible after some growth.

I have been going to Marium for my cuts for YEARS. Even when I'm indecisive about what I want, Marium is patient and has amazing suggestions for my low-maintenance lifestyle. She really tailors everything to suit your best experience possible. She is extremely efficient and a wonderful conversationalist to boot! The salon is such a lovely space, covid safe, and just an all around nice environment. Can't recommend Marium enough! I will sing her praises for eternity!

MARIUM is truly talented & gifted in what she does! I’ve entrusted her with my hair for over 10 years now. Wherever she goes, she has a client for life! Not only is she very creative, but a PERFECTIONIST! She won’t beat around the bush & promise me (or anyone for that matter) if she can’t achieve something without compromising the health of my hair. But she will definitely give you a reasonable plan to slowly work to achieve it in maybe a few sessions. (Trust me I’m picky and I’ve gone from brown back to platinum with her) Additionally, she knows her stuff when it comes to products to use for your hair. She takes the time to explain ingredients & what works best for the type of hair you have. If you want a QUALITY SERVICE, please ask for Marium…I LOVE HER! 💜

Marium has been cutting and coloring my hair for years and never disappoints. She is very meticulous and thorough. She holds herself to high standards and it is very apparent when she is cutting or coloring. I have naturally curly hair as well so that is a beast to tame all on its own.
