BEWARE! ASK THE PRICE FIRST! * I was charged $110 for a wash and blow dry with a treatment. * I actually thought she was joking. * She said salons are charging post Covid. * I gave her all the money I had in my wallet $60 * I asked another Dominican salon a few blocks away how much they would charge for the same service and they said $50 -The lady that did my hair seems nice and attentive however rough, long nails that kept scraping me and water down my back and in my face as she washed my hair. Then $110!!!

When my hair was getting shampooed so basically pulled most my hair out it hurt so bad I’ve had a headache for two days . & idk if it’s because I’m black but they charged me $123 for a wash & set that is normally 60 they are racists

First time visiting this salon. Tried them out due to the fact that my usual salon is closed on Sundays. Will never go back as they charged me 110 for a wash and set that looked horrible. Never in my entire lifetime have I ever paid that much for a washing set. In addition they tried to flat iron my hair something I never asked for. Horrible experience and it was no customers there when I visited looks like they tryna make up for lost profits by overcharging customers. If you looking for a Dominican hair salon with decent prices and good quality outcomes go to Jackie’s and Beba on Troy and eastern parkway. They are amazing!!

I went to get a wash and blowout around February and now my hair is damaged and lost its natural curl pattern… my hair comes out straight when i wash it ,now i have to cut my hair off and re grow it all over again smh. Not sure if they mixed relaxer in their shampoo and conditioners.

My Hair was so long she bleached it left the bleach in for almost hour or so and my hair fell out she then tried to lie about it when she made most my hair fall out will be taking her to court 💯

My beautician had a doctor's appt. And she ran late. I had an event to attend. They let me come at last minute notice. They were fast and my hair came out beautiful but when it was time to pay I was very surprised. First I thought the lady said 53 for a wash and set and leave in conditioner. Then she said 63. I was like damn!!!!My regular charges me 35 dollars for wash and set, conditioner, blows it out and flat irons it. She's always available. I won't be going back there.

On May 5, my mom went to this salon to get a permanent straightening done and she was attended by Mrs. Kay, who did not do what she asked because after 3 days her hair was horrible and she explained to me that Mrs. Kay treated her very well. wrong since he was pulling his hair out all the time and he says it was a terrible experience I do this so that people see this before they go so that the same thing doesn't happen to anyone

Hair is shoulder length was charged $110 for a wash and set . Was told price would be $93 which was expensive as I went to pay they upped the price to $110 never ever in my life have payed this amount and never will I go back . Lost a customer . Horrible salon and took advantage but you reap what you sow.

NATURAL HAIR ALERT!!! Let's Talk about Amazing Customer Service! Superb personal care! She managed multiple clients and still gave beautiful Service! Kind and sweet to all who came through her establishment. Ms. K, or Kay, was the best experience I have had in years!! My hair is healthy and I had a wonderful time! Sn: I told Kay I was hungry and she ordered me delivery from a local spot!! BEST SERVICE EVER!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

This place is Highway robbery! Charging $70 for a wash and set because of hair length & no chemicals! I do not have a relaxer! So when do you pay extra for not having a relaxer?! My hair is not hard to manage nor is it excessively long! These people are crooks! Never will I set foot into this place again! It was empty and maybe they were trying to make up for the money they lost during COVID & not making any money on a rainy day! But they lost someone who would have been a good customer!!! They are shady as hell!!! Never again!

Went there for my daughter to get her hair done only to see that they don't check the customers for Covid with the temperature check and their was people as well some of the staff in there with no mask on at all. (NOT GOOD) To unsafe for me and my child, I am not giving them my business until they change their safety practice dealing with Covid!!😱😡😠

This place is amazing . Kay is everything, shes so caring , her hands are magical and she takes her time . I would highly recommend visiting Delicate Hair, I walked out feeling amazing . My original hair salon closed due to the pandemic and I’m happy I was able to find someone who loves there job and make me feel like a million bucks . Kay is the bomb and her personality is so soothing .

I came to this salon with wet hair and didn’t want a wash, I came with an over grown pixie cut because I got one 2 months prior. My stylist mixes up the water spray and alcohol spray and sprays my head with alcohol, realizes and washes my hair. The cut came out really nice but at the end the women tells me the haircut is 60$ and I still have to tip the stylist so It comes out to 70$ For a pixie cut that’s a bit over grown. when I got the haircut same place different stylist before I had much longer hair and only payed 40$ plus tip so 50$. Super over priced and not worth it. Very disappointed with this price. Won’t be going again.

I went for a wash and set and they charged me $60, when I asked for a price list she told me they didn’t have one, after I left I called and asked to speak to the manager, I was told she wasn’t there. I will definitely be calling the bbb.

All I can say is that get ready to pay more than the price you were giving at the beginning. I asked for a special type of treatment, I was told 90 bucks. When I went to pay, I was told 145. Even though I refused trimming my hair. Lady was about to do it without asking. When I refused, she asked me if its because I didn't have enough to cover it. I simply said, "I don't want trimming today, I'm late to were I was going." I end up paying 55 more than what I was told. I give 4 stars cause I like how it looks so far. But I'm waiting to see the outcome of the treatment after a week.
