There has been a lot of turnover and my stylist left. They ensured me that I would have the same level of experience. I wish I never went. While the stylist was super friendly and a little too chatty, I wish he focused on my hair more! I told him people can easily cut my hair uneven and he did not check the lengths. He curled my hair when I left so I didn’t notice it until when I washed my hair. What a disappointment for a haircut that costs $95 plus the tip. I had to find my old stylist in Instagram and am booked to have her fix this and give me the long layer I asked for. My hair looks to chopped and uneven. Not going back again.

Being completely transparent, I had been seeing a stylist for some time and had a complete mess of extensions in place. My sisters wedding was in a week and I was having an anxiety attack that I wouldn’t be able to find a salon to get me in quickly. Caleb, my stylist, was an absolute savior! He was able to get me scheduled so quickly I truly felt he cared about fixing my mess as much as I did! And what an experience once I was there! The salon is stunning and the entire experience, from start to finish, was top-notch! Caleb gave me the utmost attention throughout my appointment and Kelly gave the BEST shampoo. My hair looks AMAZING now! And it is all thanks to Caleb and the lovely ladies of this salon!

So thankful for the staff/owner here!! I own another local salon in CLT and this place was one of the many I called to try and purchase a professional product we ran out of last minute before a service that required it. They were beyond willing to help and refused to even let me pay for the portion of the product they gave me! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Caleb has been doing my hair for 5 years now (blonde, darker, and extensions) and he is so amazing that when I had to move for a little while I actually asked if I could fly him out to come do my hair because I didn’t want anyone else to do it. Denise Antonacci Salon is a gorgeous salon with wonderful staff. I highly recommend going to Caleb!

I am posting this review because I tried to voice my complaint directly with the Salon but my grievance wasn't taken seriously. Firstly I was quoted via email $225-$300 but upon check out I was charged $450. I paid it with expectation that I received a high quality service with high quality product. Normally I recolor my hair 6-10months. This time the cor washed out in just two months. I have pictures that show the washed out brassy color. I'll continue sharing this experience.

I really like the color I get. However, my hair is short it doesn’t even pass as medium length and I’m also a new client on my second visit that was going to become a monthly client and so $240 for the services is way too much. Sadly, im not returning. My stylist knows I am a monthly client and if this is what I’m expected to pay with every visit, it’s not worth it. Regardless of the process at the end it’s still a color touch up. Stylist barely cut less than 1/2 inch of hair.

I want to start by saying I have had my fair share of salon experiences in Charlotte since moving from NYC in 2019, and nothing compares to Denise Antonacci Salon! Each stylist is incredibly talented and their attention to detail is unmatched. I always leave feeling brand new and so happy with my results. I recently went to Caleb for some color and was so impressed with the way my hair turned out! Highly recommend.

Very upbeat and professional place to be pampered. Artists with color and hair. Very well located and clean. Denise continues to work magic! The salon simply radiates caring and warmth as though you are their very special client. Just love my hair. Such a good feeling to relax and enjoy. Everyone at the salon greets you by name too. Selecting a hairstylist is so difficult. So often reviews are about color, so it is difficult to navigate based on them. I am all about the cut and want someone who is passionate about their craft. I found that here! Rich gave me a fantastic cut, exactly the length I wanted. I was so nervous, since I left my prior stylist for starting taking off the length requested, always finishing another inch or two shorter than I wanted. Rich listens to you but also knows what works with your hair type and face, ensuring a phenomenal cut. So happy to have found you.

Worth every tear! I have struggled feeling comfortable with my natural hair for such a long time and Minthia made me fall in love with it! She cut off all of my overprocessed strands from years of bleaching and now it's so soft and healthy looking! I have truly searched far and wide for someone who can cut a perfect bob with wispy bangs and she made my absolute dreams come true! I am so impressed by her skill and attention to detail. The finished result brought tears to my eyes (worth every tear)! I highly reccomended coming here for a haircut! 💇‍♀️💕✨️

Had the worst experience at this salon. I’m usually not one to post bad reviews but I have cried for months over my hair. I keep it in a ponytail most of the time now since my hair job was that terrible. I will however not give them an entirely awful review since they some what came through with the cut. Denise cut my hair and she did a good job, not 200 dollar job though. I went over some color options with her, and fell in love with the idea of giving my hair some spunk. I hadn’t had a haircut or dye in over a year, in between being pregnant and having a newborn to care for I didn’t have much time to myself. I did however know going into it that this salon is very pricey but I felt it was worth it since it had been so long so why not get the best in town... or so I thought. I scheduled with Julie Yamada, as recommended by Denise and let me just say it was disastrous. There is no easy way to put it. I was in a chair for almost 8 hours the first time to leave with orange hair, mind you I had to call the babysitter a couple of times to keep extending the time for my baby since I had only reserved her for what I was told, 4-5 hours, what a balayage usually takes. I had to leave because it had simply been too long. Julie recommended I come back to get it retouched because it looked terrible, or in her words “she needs to get it perfect before I leave the chair”. I came back a second time, once again she glosses my hair about 5 times having me wait a couple minutes for each yet again leaving with clown hair. I wanted something beautiful, and subtle. Something professional. This was far from it. Here I am calling up the salon coming in a 3rd time. I spoke to Carol Ann who gave me an up-charge because I wanted to get it fixed by Denise. I already knew Julie wasn’t doing the trick. But instead of having it be part of the customer service where the head stylist fixes your hair, I get an up charge. I came back with Julie instead since I had already spent well over 700 dollars for the entire process and still left in tears. This time it wasn’t so bad. I guess I could live with it. The color was a little less orange and a little more subtle than before. Denise mentioned this time the color would not fade. On top of the messy hair job I received my hair is also damaged. Luckily I do have thicker hair but I can feel how crisp my ends are and how easily it has breakage. Here I was a week later looking at my hair and once again in tears because it never became what I was once lived up to think it would’ve been. I sincerely paid way too much money for the awful job they did to my hair. The customer service was terrible for the time and money I put into it. They played with my emotions, hair is so personal and so impactful but here I am hiding behind ponytails.

The salon itself is clean and beautiful very high end. I went in for a balayage and paid 350. It turned out okay not worth 350. The initial process turned out into a orange balayage with harsh roots that looked outgrown. The second process toned down the harshness of the roots but still only did the top of my hair. However, it wasn't worth spending another 350 to hopefully get the result I wanted. The Salon staff was very nice and professional.

After years of searching throughout Charlotte, I have FINALLY found my salon! Everything about the salon is amazing - great location, great pricing, with a professional and very friendly staff. Minthia was my stylist and I cannot say enough good things about her - talented, kind, professional, personable, and funny. She is a rare gem! The salon itself is immaculately maintained but is also really inviting and has a chill vibe. The massage chairs at the washing station are an amazing touch. Anywhere that offers such a wide selection of beverages is always a plus in my book (yay wine!). Do yourself a favor and make this your salon!
