I am so happy I found Derek! He gave me the best haircut I have ever had. Going from long hair to my waist to shoulder length on thick, curly hair is not an easy task annd not just any cut works on my type of hair. Derek confidently advised me on the best choice to achieve what I wanted. He definitely is a perfectionist and pro at what he does.

Spectacular! Took me from dark roots and lots of gray growth to a gorgeous Dallas blonde while looking naturally light! Really really happy with my color, and the process was not only careful and tailored to me, but was surprisingly fast! Derek is pure magic if you’re looking for high quality blonde balayage!

Derek is a hair surgeon! I thought my hair was destroyed for atleast the next coming year from a really bad hair cut from another salon, and didn't think it could be fixed. After Derek took the time to thoroughly talk to me about what my plans were for my hair, and also gave me his expertise opinion, he began his magic! My hair has never felt this healthy, and I have never had a haircut this nice. I no longer desire to wear extensions because I actually love my own hair now. I told him I'll never go anywhere else for a haircut again! I feel like a new woman, and my husband loves it too! Thank you again, Derek!

Derek is a phenomenal hair dresser; from color to cut he knows what he is doing and executes your vision seamlessly. I do not commend lightly, I have gone to other Dallas hair dressers where I have left feeling dissatisfied. In my experience he knows what he is doing when it comes to color. He’s also fast and very efficient, something I have had yet to find. I highly recommend Derek, he took me from the hair of many colors; black, brown, mostly blonde and red - was a hair disaster from a previous stylist, to a gorgeous dimensional brunette. I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair. I reluctantly share this in fear he may get too booked up but he deserves all the kudos!

Derek is a true master at what he does— he has a vision and the technical skills to back it up. Derek knew right away what would be flattering for my long straight hair to frame my face and still maintain my volume in the back. Highly recommend!!!

I found Derek through 5 star on Yelp when I was in a bind for a professional. Derek did not disappoint on giving me a great style that is easy care. I have short hair & finding someone who does a consistent cut & style is not always possible. When you find a stylist it is worth the drive each time from out of town for my appointments. Derek is the one!

It’s very rare to find a hairdresser that literally treats his clients like friends. I was looking to add grey blending into my natural hair and asked for a consultation. I sent in three pictures and we chatted for a bit. ( no charge, I might add) I was amazed when he said, “If I were to advise you as a friend….” and explained the real issues with what I naively had wanted done to my hair. He is refreshingly honest, forthright and only does coloring that maintains the beauty and health of hair. Trust me, other hairdressers have told me they could do something they couldn’t and ruined my hair. He now has a client for life. I’ll be going to him to cut my hair from now on. In a world full of deceivers, Derek is a man of integrity. I can only imagine how wonderfully that translates into his artistry as a hairdresser.

Best haircut I’ve ever had. Derek is very attentive to your needs. He is willing to take the time to listen and appropriately provide the best, honest, and helpful advice in order to obtain the best experience possible. I appreciate that every piece of hair he works on is a work of art and he doesn’t settle for less (thank you!). He strives for excellence, and that was what I needed. If you’re hesitant to go see him, just do it - it’ll be well worth your time. I drove 2 hours (round trip) to see him but have no regrets and grateful that I did because it is worth the investment to find the right stylist! So grateful!

Derek is a wonderful stylist and easy to work with. He does the work of a luxury salon with a moderate price point. This is only a concern for me because I get my hair cut so often in order to keep my short hair looking neat. He made recommendations for products that worked and I left feeling good about my hair. I think I found my salon.

Derek is fantastic at finding the perfect shade of color to cover my gray roots and my haircuts are always sleek and trendy. He has a great professional sense when it comes to color and cut! Derek is amazing and clearly an expert in his field He has a great ability to match your hair color to compliment the tone of your skin and he takes the time to make sure his cut flatters the shape of your face My daughter’s wedding is next week and I trusted my hair to no one else. Derek is the best! I moved to Dallas from Orlando and was so bummed to leave my stylist behind. I went to several salons and had ‘ok’ experiences, until I finally came across Derek who has since become my favorite stylist ever. He got me in on my first appointment same-day, and has been super communicative ever since. He has a real talent in understanding what shades look best for different tones and complexions, and is quick to tell me when I’m wanting something that might look too stark or unnatural. I trust his hair guidance wholeheartedly. Aside from being an awesome stylist, he’s a total goofball and I always love chatting with him during my visits. So fun. 10/10 recommend! :)

Nice clean and professional environment. Derek was super nice, and he made sure he explained everything he was going to do to my hair. He also made sure I was comfortable with the results. Nice guy, also very skilled at his profession!
