Very expensive terrible service Just got my nails done. It’s already chipping. They call and reschedule your appointment 30 minutes before your appointment is due. This happened to me second time don’t waste your money here

I found out about this nail boutique through my esthetician a few months ago. I decided to give them a try after several months of not getting my toes done and having recently tried someone who works from home for my nails. One thing that drew me to them in particular is the sanitation. The lack thereof in conventional shops is the reason I do not patronize them currently. I loved that they do not use traditional pedicure bowls and I can see their tools being sterilized in real time. I really enjoyed my toe tech as she was very pleasant , professional, and attentive. 10 days after my first appointment the gel polish on my toes began to chip. I found this to be very bizarre because I have literally never experienced chipping with gel polish on the TOES. I immediately reached out to the salon and the owner Susan offered me to come back in. Unfortunately due to my work schedule and the distance from the salon I was unable to come in. She was willing to accommodate me by offering me a small discount off of the subsequent appointment. My next appointment came about 3 weeks after and this time I decided to also get my nails done also. I originally booked gel x extensions but upon communicating to my tech that I would be going for a shorter style she suggested the structured gel manicure. I was going to get a French tip but didn’t like the base colors offered as I felt they were too pink/unnatural against my natural nail/skin complexion. This is something I communicated before it was applied. My tech reassured me that it was the artificial lighting emphasizing the warm notes in the base coat and that it would look differently in the natural light. Upon her completing the application, I still felt it was too warm. In an effort to save time I asked for the base coat to be painted over with a simple white. It came out fine but it did have some flaws that I noticed that same day with a few bubbles and a hair stuck in one nail. I honestly didn’t have that much of a problem because I liked how the nails looked overall. A few days later (about 3 days) I noticed one of my thumb nails beginning to chip/peel. I did not have time to call/make a fuss about it or go back into the shop so I waited until today (approximately a week and a half later to stop by and ask if it could be fixed. The other supervisor whose name I’ve forgotten informed me that they had a 7 day policy to fix anything free of charge and that if they were to re-do it it would be at a discounted rate. Having just spent almost $200 the previous week, I asked if it could be applied to a future appointment as I also did not have the time to drive 30 minutes back the next day to get it fixed. She agreed. I had accepted this until I went home and noticed that one of my toe nails had chipped yet again. I’m honestly not sure what the cause is. I don’t engage in hard labor or work much with my hands at all. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time or funds to make weekly/bi-weekly salon visits so I will have to chalk it up. This is a lovely salon and I appreciate their willingness to try and address the issues I expressed but it’s not feasible for me at this time. Especially at this price point. I still think visiting this salon is worth the effort as this was my only issue and your experiences may not mirror mine.

I had my very first head spa massage / facial at Desert Beauty Lab with Kae & the experience was truly magical/truly relaxing! From the so comfortable chair to the subtle changes of aromas used for the head massage , & from the exquisite changes of pressure on my head & face as she applied different non- toxic products to the wonderful feel of a waterfall of water changing temperatures , Kae’s head spa massage is more than worth its price. The cost is worthy for a special event , a birthday , an anniversary, etc. There are different add ons & costs to the initial head spa massage. As a cancer survivor & past employee of resort hotels , the owner , Susan , uses only holistic , non-toxic products in her salon-spa which makes the services offered comparable to those resorts , & a tad higher than neighborhood salons. Try it.., You’ll love it!!

Everything was absolutely perfect! The welcome was so warm, and everyone was incredibly kind. Bella who took care of me was simply amazing, it was such a wonderful experience. I had a pedicure, and honestly, everything was perfect. Thank you so much for such an incredible moment. I’ll definitely be back soon!

The team here is super friendly and professional! I love the feel and the atmosphere of this place. They are a little pricey but definitely a treat when you go.

Had my appointment scheduled 2 weeks in advance. They call me 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment to tell me they’re going to have to push it back 30 minutes. Very inconvenient for me. Also, didn’t feel like the service was great this time. Maybe it was the nail tech I was assigned to her name was Vee/Vicky. I asked for something different than what she did on my nails. For the amount I was charged I would expect better quality and better service.

In Vegas for business and needed a relaxing escape! I definitely found it here. I got a 60 minute scalp treatment with Lynzie and caught myself so relaxed I fell asleep…several times! I loved the in-depth look at my scalp and education on what it needs to be its healthiest. Amazing scalp, shoulder and arm massage. Clean salon, very friendly and informative staff. Can’t wait to visit again next year!

Desert Beauty Lab’s Head Spa treatment is absolutely worth the trip off the Strip. This luxurious 60 minute treatment was truly the MOST relaxing treatment I’ve ever had and beats a pricey massage at a casino spa every time. Lynzie was so awesome (thank you, Lynzie!) and led me through the whole experience and happily answered all my hair and scalp questions. Lynzie first analyzed my scalp and hair using a camera then led me back to the treatment room where I undressed, got in a robe, and got onto a massage table, buried myself under a blanket and the treatments began (head/neck/shoulder massage, deep shampoo and conditioning, a mineral rinse and much, much more). I was so cozy and comfortable throughout that I almost fell asleep. The treatments were so relaxing and EFFECTIVE. almost a week later, my hair is still super shiny and soft. I added a blowout after (there’s a discounted rate when bundled with a Head Spa appointment). Lynzie was stellar, the day spa and salon space is so well designed. Everyone there was really kind (the gentleman manning the Front Desk was so welcoming and helpful!). I loved the products being used here and purchased some on the way out. I will be returning when I’m next in town and plan on getting another head spa treatment followed by a pedicure in the zero gravity chairs! Drop everything and make your appointment and go.

I was just visiting from Florida last week an had a zero gravity meditation pedicure AND the spiritual meditation facial. Both were just what I needed! Very relaxing, professional and soothing! I would love to see one open in Cape Coral Florida!!

I saw this place on TikTok and thought I would check it out while I was in Vegas. I got the meditation pedicure. The woman that was doing the service was nice at first but then started rushing the service. At the end she didn’t even give me a few minutes to relax in the chair and asked me to get up right away so she could get the next person in the chair. It was just a regular pedicure nothing special with headphones of relaxing music which you can easily listen to with your own headphones and Spotify. I did not leave relaxed but extremely unsatisfied with the service provided.

Very well done interior and friendly nail tech! I am obsessed with my Russian manicure. I found Desert Beauty Lab on Instagram while I was traveling in Las Vegas.. wish I could’ve had another chance to go back! Will definitely be back if I’m in the area again. Very pleased!

Went on a spa date with my friend. I had Emyrose and she had Vee. We both love our mani and pedi. The salon is clean and it doesn’t have an awful smell. Can’t wait for the next spa day!

Yumi gives the most incredible manicures and pedicures! She takes her time to make sure everything is done efficiently. She always make sure I’m getting exactly what I want and I’ll never go to another nail tech in Vegas.

**Fluffy people beware** I have been following Desert Beauty Lab on Instagram for a while and was excited to book my first appointment and experience one of their pedicures. The website is easy to book from, you can find the service you want and pick the person that will be assisting you. All in all, I was already impressed. I made sure to read what each service came with to make sure I was picking one that I would enjoy. Service picked, person picked, day and time selected and I was booked! One thing I made note of is there is a 50% cancellation fee if you do not cancel prior to 24 hours of your appointment. This didn't deter me, I was excited to experience this premier service! I quickly received an email and a text message confirming my appointment for the next day at 11am. I read through my email and saw the information I had picked out, confirmed the 50% cancellation policy. No surprises there. Flip over to the confirmation text and I was shocked to see there appears to be a weight limit for their chairs. Clearly I missed this on the website in all the places I looked: the service I picked, the pedicures in general, the terms and conditions (which you can see on the phone version of the website). But no, it isn't there. They have COVID precautions, cancellation & downgrade policy and terms and conditions but nothing stating there is a weight limit on their pedicure chairs. All of this to say, if you are on the fluffier side, don't book a pedicure here. I am upset that this wasn't somewhere prior to my booking and I had to stress until they were open to call and cancel my appointment so I wasn't charged the 50% cancellation. I have attached photos of the email and text messages just for verification. It would have been nice to have the disclaimer prior to booking.

I like the staff but today I had to pick my color from my phone. I won’t be back as long as that’s the new way. I like to see the colors in person. Sending me a link to pick a color from a web page is annoying and you don’t really know what you’re getting.

I love this salon. I really do. My whole family comes here and it is awesome every time. I recently had the head spa experience with Linzie and it was marvelous! I’ll be coming here now instead of my usual place. I also had an add on blowout and my goodness I looked like a goddess for 3 days (thank you Linzie!). Would recommend any add on service for this magnificent service! Shout out to Courtney and Wendy my amazing nail techs who take the best care of me and have me looking like a lady even on my worst days. Another shout out to Jazzy who makes my demanding threenager (3 year old) feel like a princess and gives her the most amazing rainbow mani and pedis so I can relax for an hour. Love you guys! Pedi chairs have a weight limit that you are not informed of until after you book. That should be made clear before booking. I was then offered a manicure as an option instead of them trying to make accommodations for what I actually booked. It’s my fault I’m a bigger girl but, having the information I need available at time of booking would be better than what actually happened.

Beautiful clean atmosphere. This establishment is pure relaxation. Every tech is so kind and pays so much attention to detail. I know the price point is slightly higher, but you won't leave here feeling upset about how much you spent. From the products , equipment, and even complimentary drinks, it screams luxury. I live 25 min away and will make the drive everytime.

Best mani/pedi I've had in a while. My girl Alexis is very professional and has attention to detail. Ensured she explained what and why she was doing. The male front clerk made me feel at home and is always willing to explain the different services. I love him!

I followed my girl Courteney here from her last salon. It’s a little bit more expensive but totally worth it! The gravity chair (I think that’s what it’s called) was an out of this world experience. I’m a massage therapist so I stand most of my work day and it’s nothing like a good foot massage to get me back together. Courteney does it best!

Kay is an absolute gem. She is so professional and kind during every service. I like to get the DBL pedicure. I love that they have jetless tubs, so much cleaner! Definitely make a reservation, the receptionists are all very helpful.

This was a different kind of pedicure. I’ll start with what I was eh about and go onto what I enjoyed! I was sad no massage chair, I always look forward to that after a long day of work…No plastic covers on the pedicure bowl so I thought that was a little strange...my girl asked me if I wanted tea then didn’t bring the tea so I was a little sad 💀 it’s ok I’m sure she just forgot which is understandable(: BUT on to The positives, walking in it smelled super good and looked super clean! The receptionist made sure to greet me right away. I love that they have the curtain's next to you at the station so it feels private. I was super relaxed and I love that the chair reclines back and they prop your feet up so the massage was very nice. The massage gun they use was super cool too! On to the hot stones she made sure to get inbetween my toes which was amazing. She really cleaned underneath my toe nails which I was happy about. Overall I’m happy since my toes look cute

Extremely disappointed. I found this salon through tiktok and the service looked so good. I called to set an appointment for 2 pedicures. Normally you are asked or get to choose the pedicure type at the appointment. When arrived we were notified that we didn’t get to choose and everything felt extremely rushed. It was barely a relaxing experience. I did not walk out feeling happy, relaxed or my feet feeling soft. I would not recommend this place at all unfortunately. Even though it looks a beautiful place, it was not a beautiful experience.

Great salon, nice atmosphere, menu and membership options! I get my nails & toes done here by Courtney and am so satisfied now. After doing dip nails for years with the same tech, making the switch to gel was difficult, it wasn’t lasting as long. I went to 2 other techs at this salon prior, they were awesome, however Courtney was the one I stuck with and I love builder gel now because of her. She makes the experience so seamless and is professional, knowledgeable and very experienced. Highly recommend trying this place out, just have patience finding the right tech for you as we all have different preferences.

I love the service they are very accommodating. They application of the gelX just don't last long, depending on who you go to. Other then that it seems like a nice place for pedicures.
